World's End Publishing

Damnit! The world has ended again! Carl! I told you to not put that in the refrigerator! Now look what's happened!
*sigh* Well, we might as well band together into different factions and fight over what meager resources are left. Thankfully, if you've played This is Not a Test, you've got a leg-up on the situation. You already know how best to survive in this wasteland. And if you want a hardcover version of the rulebook, well, that's up on Kickstarter now.
Here we are again. Half-through with the week. With any luck, you've had some gaming opportunities. Or at the very least, have some coming up. Looks like I've got D&D again this weekend. Should be a good time, though we've got a player moving to Ohio soon. So we're getting in whatever sessions we can before then.

Anyway, as per our custom, we've collected some of the more bite-sized stories we've collected over the past couple days and present them to you now.

In this batch we have: New Cultists and Female SFA Troopers released at, Mage Company Previews Upcoming 12 Realms Kickstarter, Burrovian Casualty Packs for Flintloque Released, End Times Units & The One Page Rules Playroom, Icarus Miniatures Concept Art Preview: Kara Mariasha, Some more Editions of The Fiver from The Meeple Mechanic, Kabuki Models Previews Little Red Riding Hood, Amera Plastic Mouldings New 15mm trenches released, World's End Publishing to Officially Release This Is Not a Test on May 2, RN Estudio releases Kyara miniature, New Satyras The Faun mini from Blacksmith Miniatures, Voodooworx Miniatures Release New Character, April's Free Skirmish Sangin Scenario Now Posted, New Undead Ground Round-Lip Bases from Tabletop-Art, Sally 4th Press Release: 28mm UK style roads, New 6mm SF Desert Buildings from Brigade Models, Fantasy Coins Kickstarter Happening Now, Deep-Cut Studio releases urban ruins themed gaming mats, and Fireforge Games: Euro price list changes.

World's End Publishing is happy to announce Dispatches From the Wastes. These will be an ongoing series of articles talking about This is Not a Test, their upcoming post-apocalyptic miniatures wargame. The game draws inspiration from just about any post-apocalyptic source you can think of and is created for 28mm, but the rules are scale-able for any size figures.

From the announcement:
World's End Publishing is showing off concept art and some preliminary greens for the Peacekeeper Warband for their upcoming post-apocalyptic game, This is Not a Test.

From the preview:

World's End Publishing is pleased to present the first faction model for our in-development post-apocalypse game "This Is Not a Test". The first faction is the Peacekeepers, who enact wasteland justice for their select clients. There will be a initial release of five models for this warband and the first to be completed is their stalwart leader. Depending on the type of Peacekeeper warband you choose, he can either be a valiant Road Marshall or a ruthless Hanging Judge. This particular model comes with two head options and two arms with different weapons, either a SMG or a pistol. We might also release him with a plasma/ laser rifle to represent those great relics from before the Fall. The original sculpt is by Ernst Veingart. For more information please check out our website. This Is Not a Test is scheduled for a release later in 2014. Thanks.

World's End Publishing has a free-to-download rules set for a TNT warband (which the full rules are coming soon), the Mutant Cannibals.

From the release:

Just in time for Halloween, World's End Publishing is proud to present an entirely free and playable warband for This Is Not a Test (TNT). Based on such movies as the Devil’s Rejects, The Hills Have Eyes, and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, among many others, the Mutant Cannibal warband is a dark and twisted take on wasteland mutants. Though TNT is still waiting to be released, this free download gives insight into the core of the TNT warbands and their design. Enjoy.

World's End Publishing now has their own website and encourages you to go check it out.
