Like ELVEN, DWARVEN & WARMAIDENS – This pad is designed to offer a CORE Base design in many varied grades of destruction, for you to build upon by using other pads (like vines from FOREST or stone from the ruined side of SANCTUARY) to supplement & finish off your uber specific texture choice exactly the way you want it to be.

Of course, you can use it on its own to make some fantastic bases & dungeon tiles too!

Wargames Bakery updates stretch goals in Basing Pads Kickstarter campaign

Wargames Bakery is in their last week over on Kickstarter. They’ve made more than 6x their goal, so they’ve updated what stretch goals have been passed and which are still to go in a little graphic.
And yes, I still think they look like cookies.

Kickstarter Basius – The Basing Pad Range – by Wargames Bakery

This Kickstarter’s objective is to enable the creation of an amazing collection of 7 inch diameter (that’s 18cm!!) circular textured Basing Pads – designed to allow gamers of every modelling skill level to easily create professionally sculpted bases that are exactly tailored to meet their individual specific gaming & display needs, using any size, shape and brand of plastic base that they wish.

Our Basing Pads have outstanding negative (sunken) detailing – Press any plain plastic miniature base that’s covered with fresh putty into the Basing Pad to produce fantastic positive (normal looking) detailing on it.

Wargames Bakery running Basing Texture Stamp Pads Kickstarter campaign

Wargames Bakery is running a Kickstarter campaign in order to fund some new basing texture pads. They’ve made more than 3x their goal with a little over 2 weeks to go. How many more stretch goals can they make it through, do you think?
Also, yes, I thought that was a cookie the first time I saw the concept, too (the name of the company probably had something to do with that as well).

Wargames Bakery Opens its Doors

Wargames Bakery is a brand new bits, terrain and bases company that’s serving up trays of mouth-watering… ummm… minis-pieces. Only available in the UK, though, for now.
Note: I wouldn’t suggest actually trying to eat the terrain or bases they make.

From the grand opening:

About us: – We are a Husband & Wife operation – sculpting & crafting miniatures, scenery and accessories right here from our home in Lancashire (in the UK).
