The French Revolution was a very turbulent time (to say the least). Various factions were all vying for power with one-another, the citizens were taking to the streets, and heads were rolling (literally). In the French National Assembly building, powerful players were looking to make deals and win votes for their side. And that's just what you'll be doing in Revolution! a new card game from Vexillia. It's available as a print-and-play pdf.

Irregular Wars has released the version 1.5 of their Conflict At World's End rulebook that you can download now off of Vexillia.

From the update:
Designed by Irregular Wars, these rules are for for small-scale actions from c. 1519 to 1641, and consist of five high quality PDFs providing rules, army lists, a play sheet, some useful diagrams, and a set of optional chance cards. The latest version (1.5) retains all the fast and fun mechanisms from the original game.

Rather than focusing on the minutiae of individual casualties and armour-based saving throws, the core game mechanic is based on the resolve of individual companies, given their changing situation throughout the game. When a company's resolve drops too much, it ceases to function as a tactical unit and is removed from play, regardless of actual casualties.

Vexillia have posted an update on their recently acquired 15mm Napoloeonic Ottoman range. From their announcement:
Following the acquisition of this range last week it's time for a quick update. The stock arrived on Monday and all the infantry and cavalry have unpacked, counted and placed in stock. The cavalry will be done this coming week. The web site is now completely up to date with a full listing of all 32 packs of infantry, cavalry and artillery. Also listed are the full colour, pdf painting guide and the really useful 1988 booklet entitled "The Ottoman Empire and the Napoleonic Wars". I have only limited stock of the latter.
Vexillia have acquired a range of 15mm Napoleonic Ottoman figures. From their website:
I am pleased to announce the acquisition of the extensive range of Napoleonic Ottoman figures from One Tree Miniatures. This is a major step forward for the business. The range is sculpted in the modern 18 mm style and consists of 32 codes covering infantry, cavalry and artillery; including command packs. Many of the figures will be suitable for later periods especially the militia infantry and light cavalry. This week, a considerable stock of packs will be shipped to the Vexillia nerve centre and they will take at least a week to sort and organise. I hope to be in a position to process orders by Monday, 01 August 2011. In the meantime there's a web page, complete with pictures of all the packs for advance orders.
Acies Edizioni 15mm TYW rangeVexillia is now stocking the 15mm Thirty Years War range of figures from Acies Edizioni. From their announcement:
Just brief note to say that the stock arrived from Italy and all outstanding orders have been posted. To be fair it arrived ten days ago but I've been so busy adding a fully featured shopping cart to my site (and it's still not ready yet). Anyway I have had time to upload more painted examples and a compatibility photo. Sales have been strong so order early to avoid the delay whilst I reorder.
