Congratulations! You've made it to Saturday! *throws a little party*
Mine's been busy so far. We're just a couple weeks out from Gen Con, and that means about a million little things to get done (along with a couple big things) before heading to the show. My "To Do" list is imposing, but with steady work, I'll chew through it all.
*looks at list* Hmm, "Type up Review Roundup."

Today we have: Sugi, Stak Bots, Food Fighters, Infinity Combined Army Onyx Force, Galaxy Defenders: Operation Strikeback Expansion, SET, Dragonwood, Millennium Blades, Beyond Baker Street, Dark Dealings, America, Fate of the Elder Gods, Burano, Happy Party, and My Village.

Saturday of a long weekend, too. All. The. Bonus!

But that doesn't mean I'm going to shirk my duties. You want your review articles, and I'm here to give them to you.

So I present to you: Who Knew, Everdawn, Flick 'Em Up, Night of Man, Ra, Through the Ages: A New Story of Civilization, Tyrants of the Underdark, VIII Corps: The Somme 1916, Wombat Rescue, Nefarious, Apotheca: The Secret Potion Society, Back to the Future: An Adventure Through Time, Dungeon Time, Bear Valley, and Millennium Blades.

I don’t particularly have anything against DC Comics, but I’ve always just enjoyed Marvel more. That’s extended from the comics I read in the 90s through the products I see coming out that have the Marvel license. And with the recent upswing in Marvel movies (well, comic book movies in general, to be fair), there’s been a lot more things coming out that mix my love of tabletop gaming with my love of Marvel. And so here, today, we have the Marvel set for Munchkin.

The fine folks at USAOpoly sent me a copy (and some extras, which we’ll get to) to check out and let you know about.

So grab your vibranium shield and web spinners, it’s time for a combined TGN Unboxing and Review. This time around it’s Munchkin Marvel by Steve Jackson Games and USAOpoloy.
A friend of mine used to be in the Marines. He served overseas for a couple years. While there, they’d still go on regular training missions. One of them involved having to get from one place to another out in the desert. Well, unfortunately, the guy holding the compass was doing so right next to his weapon. Those that know how compasses work, they can be thrown off by a large piece of metal near them. You know… like a rifle… So the group got rather lost. Thankfully they all made it back safe, eventually. In Lost Patrol from Games Workshop, the Space Marine Scouts that have been sent out to find a downed Drop Pod have also gotten lost. Will they make it back alive?

The chaps over at GW were kind enough to send me a copy to check out and let you know about.

So remember that North is thataways and get ready for another TGN Unboxing. This time it’s Lost Patrol from Games Workshop.
From a camp where I run away from zombies to a camp where I learn to be a ninja. Probably could’ve used the skills from the latter in the former, but waddyagonnado? Anyway, I had participated in the Kickstarter campaign for Ninja Camp from Action Phase Games. I’d played a demo of it at last year’s CMON Expo (and wrote up a review that you can read here) and liked it enough that I wanted in on it as soon as possible.

Well, the Kickstarter campaign long since ended and backers are starting to get their sets. I got mine and figured I’d give you a look inside.

So grab your merit badges, it’s time for another TGN Unboxing. This time it’s Ninja Camp by Action Phase Games.
Games Workshop is going back to the future. Well, the past of the future, that is. I mean, it’s still the future from now but it’s back in time from where they are usually when in the futu… You know, I’ll start again.

The Horus Heresy has long been a popular part of the Warhammer 40k lore. What happened to the Imperium of Man to split it apart so drastically? Where did all those Chaos Space Marine chapters come from? The story of Horus’ betrayal against the Emperor is a story of Biblical proportions (and parallels). And both Games Workshop and Forge World of long been coming out with models that have armor and other equipment from that period of the game’s history. Well, Games Workshop is coming out with a new stand-alone game based in the Horus Heresy period. Betrayal at Calth takes players to the time right when it was brother versus brother in close-proximity fighting with one-another as the Chaos factions split off.

GW sent me a copy to check out. A full review will be coming soon, but as of now, let’s take a look at what comes in the box. It’s time for another TGN Unboxing (it’s been a while). This time it’s The Horus Heresy: Betrayal at Calth.
Spartan Games has caused quite a stir with the announcement of their Halo: Fleet Battles miniatures game. The Fall of Reach starter box sets just started shipping a couple days ago. We got one in here at the office and whipped up this little video showing off the box's contents for you. Go have a look-see.
No fate...
Unless you roll it, anyway. Hey everyone. Here at the TGN office, we got ourselves a copy of the new Terminator: Genisys game created by River Horse and distributed by Warlord Games. We put together a little video showing off what you get in the War Against the Machines starter set. Check it out below the cut.
There's also a contest where you can win your own copy of the game (still sealed up and everything).

It’s another day at the TGN office. Another day where I get to my desk and a bag of POOP is on it. You may say, “But Jared, I never have those type of days. That’s not normal.” Not to worry, it wasn’t a real bag of poop this time. Well, the bag was real, but the POOP was not, well, poop. It was POOP: The Card Game from Feels Right Design. Their current Kickstarter is offering to send you or your friends/enemies POOP In A Bag! The original game had a successful Kickstarter back in February of 2014, but the new Kickstarter campaign introduces the bag delivery concept and a couple new versions of the game. What is the normal game you ask? Let’s take a look.

Fantasy Flight Games (FFG) takes gamers to a galaxy far, far away with their new Star Wars: Armada starter set. The highly-anticipated fleet combat game is making its way into people’s hands. We here at TGN got one and wanted to give you a few articles about it (since it’s a game I’ve been anxious to get for a while now). First we’ve got an unboxing. We’ll have a review article forthcoming as well. We just need to get in a few more games first.

So, without further ado, let’s take off the shrink wrap and dive into an unboxing of the Star Wars: Armada starter set.
S-a-t-u-r-d-a-y, Night!
Ok, so it's not exactly "night" yet... unless you're East of here. So those of you in Europe might consider it night.

I'm getting off track. Anyway, it's Saturday and hopefully you're getting your gaming groove on.

We've got a collection of the review articles we found during the week and present them to you now.

In this edition, we have reviews/previews of: Doomtown: Reloaded, Mysterium, Between Two Cities, Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition Dungeon Master’s Guide, Sanssouci, Mythtopia, The Tyrant and Dreadnought Army Cases from Tabletop Tyrant, Oh My Gods!, Iron Kingdoms: Unleashed Adventure Kit, and Specter Ops.

Another Saturday night (well, afternoon) and I ain't got nobody (well, I'm hanging out with my gaming group). I got some money 'cause I just got paid (well, earlier in the week, yeah). Oh how I wish I had someone to talk to (well... again, with my gaming group, so I'm talking with them). I'm in an awful way (I'm starting to think this song wasn't the best choice to use in this opening, since I'm doing just fine right now, but I've typed this much, I'm going to stick with it).

Time once more for a Review Roundup. Here's the game/product reviews/previews/unboxings we found in the last week.

Items include: DreadBall Hobgoblin Unboxing, King of New York, the Melee expansion for Chaostle, Five Tribes, and Last Will and it's Get Stacked expansion.
