Dual Powers: Revolution 1917 Board Game Up On Kickstarter

There's a lot of very important things that came about directly due to WWI. Arguably one of the most important was the revolution in Russia. The Czar and his family were out, and the proletariat were in. In Dual Powers: Revolution 1917, players will vie for control of the runaway train that was the Communist uprising. Will they be able to maintain control, or will they get run over? The game is up on Kickstarter now.

Review Roundup

Well, one down and 51 to go. We're a week into 2017 and it's been a bit of an odd one, at least for me. No single day was "an average day," really. Whether I was working from home or had to go to the repair shop, or just had the day off, I'm somewhat looking forward to just a "usual routine" next week.
Anyway, that's as may be. Right now, it's time to get you the reviews you so desperately desire.

Today we have: Lift It, Figopedia, Codenames Pictures, Dungeon Roll, A Fake Artist Goes to New York, High Treason!, Roll Player, Fief: France 1429, Age of War, Betrayal at House on the Hill: Widow’s Walk Expansion, and Colt Express iOS.

Review Roundup

It's time once more for a Review Roundup. Why? Because it's Saturday! Woo!
As you read this, I'm hanging out with some friends, playing games. Took over a group of favorites, and hopefully will get me a new Guild Ball opponent, too. I also baked brownies, because I can't go to a friend's place empty-handed. Hopefully you're doing something similar, be it at a friend's place, your garage, or your LGS.
But anyway, I know you're really here for those reviews.

Today we have: Legends Untold, Mage Wars Academy: Warlock & Priestess Expansions Review, Aggressor: Recon, Shadows of Brimstone, Tambuzi, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle, Kill Doctor Lucky: Deluxe 19.5th Anniversary Edition, Tanks: Panther vs Sherman, Junk Art, Roll Player, and Potion Explosion.

And even if you generally use a point-buy system for character attributes (like I generally do), you still use it to refer to "make a new character." Personally, I love making up characters, even if I don't actually plan on using them. There's a lot of fun that can be had simply in taking an RPG system and seeing what sort of characters you can create. Well, Thunderworks Games has turned that fun into the point of the game. That game is Roll Player, and they're up on Kickstarter now.
