Halfway done. We're halfway done with the week. If we've made it this far, we can make it to the weekend. So, while I listen to some Joy Division, let's also snack on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Acheson Creations' American Frontier Miniatures on Sale Through the 31st, The Necronomnomnom - A Cookbook of Eldritch Horror Available For Pre-order, Next Wave of Minis Available From Y.F.T. Studio, Through Gamer Goggles Gen Con Videos Posted, Kraken Dice Adds New Metal Dice To Collection, and Bespoke Dice Rolling Trays by EmbroiderWood Up On Kickstarter.
The week's half-over (or, at lest it is when you're reading this. It's still pretty early in the morning when I'm typing it). Mine has been going well. Yesterday, I got some new dice from Kraken Dice. ... Today, I see that they have some new releases and so I just made another order... Because that's just my life these days. Not that that's really a complaint. But, besides new dice, what other sorts of bite-sized gaming stories do we have for you?
Today on the platter there's: New Releases Available From Kraken Dice, Steamforged Running Critical Roll RPG Minis Kickstarter, Through Gamer Goggles Origins Coverage, and Brigade Models Releases New 6mm American Republic Models.
In which I totally mess up the date for when this was supposed to post and then go back and fix it. :P Look, these things happen sometime! Anyway, here's the regular grouping of review articles I know you all so desperately desire.
This week we have: Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes, Rush in the Forest: Three Little Pigs, Torres, Exoudus Fleet, Steepseers, Super Hack Override, This War of Mine, Assembly, Noria, Get Off My Land, and Monster Card BLVD.
Halfway there, everyone. We're halfway there. The weekend is making its way inexorably towards us. And it's a 3-day weekend, too. It's looking like I'll be getting in some Guild Ball on Sunday, along with some grilling. So that's gonna be fun. Whatever you might have planned, be sure you're not famished by snacking on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Sci-Fi Stock Art For RPGs Up On Kickstarter, Brigade Models Releases New 15mm Hammer's Slammers Vehicles, Happy Birthday To Through Gamer Goggles, The DASIK Shelf Up On Kickstarter, Eflix's Plague Demon Prince on Kickstarter, and Impact! Miniatures Running WHISPER Wave 2 Kickstarter.
It's already Wednesday. Is the week going by quickly for everyone else, too? It feels like it is for me, anyway. But being busy will do that, I suppose. If I'm going to keep up this pace, I should stock up on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today we have: Scrap Steel Base Deals Available From Tabletop-Art, Rebel Minis Releases 28mm Minotaur Warlord, Fog Monster Mini Fog Machine Up On Kickstarter, Saint Brendan of Clonfert Mini Available From Brother Vinni, and Through Gamer Goggles Posts Gen Con 2017 Interviews.
The week continues along. We'll get back to that ever-loving weekend soon. Just another couple of days and it'll be time once more. And I'm sure a lot of people in the US are going to be celebrating this weekend. With the 4th of July being a Tuesday this year, I'm guessing a lot of people are going to take this weekend to grill, shoot off some fireworks, and just celebrate America. I know I'm getting together with some friends on Saturday for just that sort of thing. I'm sure there'll be tasty snacks there. Let's snack on some tasty bite-sized gaming stories now, too.
Today on the platter we have: Wargamer Running Hot & Dangerous Kickstarter, Oddzial Osmy’s 3mm June Releases Arrive at PicoArmor, Rebel Minis Releases Gorilla Animech, Esh-Aven Previewed for Shadows in the Void, Through Gamer Goggles Posts Origins 2017 Coverage, New Skull Objective Markers Available From Kromlech, and PKCGames Running Dice of Rolling Kickstarter.
We have survived through another Monday. The work week's nicely underway and we can start to focus on next weekend. For me, a friend's got a Board Game Day going on at the library they work at. So I'll be taking some stuff out there that I picked up at Gen Con and hopefully getting some games in with them. If not, I'm sure I'll be playing something good.
As for today, we've got our various podcasts, as well as some video recaps from Gen Con.
Specifically, it's: The Hub Systems Podcast Episode 24 - Firestorm Armada Tactica: Sorylians, Blue Peg, Pink Peg Episode 79- Junk Art and GenCon 2016, CONTEST!, Nerdherders Episode 95: Now With 50% Fewer Ingredients!, Epic Gaming Night Podcast Ep 66 Post Gencon News, The Polyhedron Collider Cast Episode 8, The Rolistes Episode 13 – The One About Me, Me, Me, Meee… (With Awesome Feats), News of the North – 2016-08-16, Through Gamer Goggles Gen Con Coverage.
Yesterday, to get home from Gen Con, we drove for about 13 hours. We went from Indy to Atlanta via Memphis. We had to drop off a friend at his place. We'd picked him up on the way, too, but we split the trip into 2 parts. The way back was just one long burn down the road. Fun fact: There's not really much to see driving from Atlanta to Memphis and then Memphis to Indianapolis. Whole lotta nothing right there. So having something good to listen to went a long way when conversation died down. If you've got a long drive coming up, or just a long day at the office, perhaps some gaming podcasts can help you out.
Today in our Roundup we've got: Geeks of the North Episode 32 – Cotton anniversary, World’s End Radio Episode #88 – The Rogue Traders, Adeptus Infernus 034, Through Gamer Goggles Gen Con 2016 Coverage 1: Blood and Plunder, News of the North – 2016-08-09, Who Cares Who Wins Bushido Special – with Chris and Chris (No Guild Ball), Mantic Radio – Episode 4, 40K Radio – Episode 3, and 40K Radio – Special Report – Codex: Deathwatch.
It's a hot day here in Atlanta. Summer certainly has set in (it actually set in a couple weeks ago, but it is Atlanta, so waddyagonnado?). Makes me look forward to autumn. But thankfully, I can sit in this... somewhat-air-conditioned part of the building where my desk is... and listen to some gaming podcasts, dreaming of cooler temperatures.
Today in our Roundup we have: Plaid Hat Games Podcast Episode 206: Dexterity Game Night, Through Gamer Goggles: Words With Bryan Pope @ Origins 2016, Through Gamer Goggles: Words With Jason Hardy @ Origins 2016, Game Classy 116: Rise of the Machines…, Guild Ball Tonight Episode 40: Scalpel-Curious, Who Cares Who Wins Episode 17 – Sorry Dustins Mum – Engineers and the Games Expo, Blue Peg, Pink Peg Episode 75- Isle of Skye and Convention Advice, Epic Gaming Night Podcast Ep 59 Your Favorite Game, Meeples & Miniatures – Episode 172 – UK Games Expo, OML4 & Tanks Review, and News of the North – 2016-06-21.
Monday's gone. That first hurdle to the work week is in the past. Time to get over it not being the weekend anymore and, instead, set our sights towards next weekend. We've got another 3.5 work days to get through, and we could use something to help make that time go by quicker. I know time tends to speed up when I'm talking about gaming. Thankfully, I get an opportunity to do that just about every day. I know others aren't so lucky. But even if they're not talking about gaming, you can listen to people talk about gaming in the various podcasts. Here's what we've collected over the past week.
We have: The Hub Systems Episode 19 - Salute 2016, Shut Up & Sit Down Podcast #40: Reiner Knizia's Relationship Simulator, Primecast Episode 31, Through Gamer Goggles Role-Play Ramblings 5: Is Cheating Acceptable, Docking Bay 94 podcast Episode 30: Polyversal, Game Classy 112: Better than Deathclock, and News of the North – 2016-04-26.
In case you hadn't noticed... It's Saturday! Woo! Considering time differences and all, I hope a lot of you had a good time at Salute today. Did any of you pick up some awesome stuff while there? I, obviously, couldn't go (much as I wanted to). I did, however, pick up my limited-edition Flint figure for Guild Ball in their online store.
But that'll get here when it gets here. As for now, it's time for some reviews.
Today we have: Above and Below, Odin's Ravens, Glass Road App, High Command Rapid Engagement, Aradia Miniatures' Toad King, Android: Netrunner Card Game, Through the Ages: A New Story of Civilization, Expedition RPG, Kodama, VS 2PCG: The Defenders, And Then We Held Hands, Timeline Challenge, and Tumult Royale.
Well, Monday was quite a whirlwind of news. It was quite a thing to keep up with all of it. I'm sure it'll all be talked about for quite some time. So you can expect many podcasts to have those as topics. Well, we've got our podcast roundup today. There's some Gamer Goggles vidcasts in here, too.

Hey everyone, I hope you made it through Black Friday alright. I had Thanksgiving 2: Thank Harder here at the bear den. Made myself another turkey and side-dishes and enjoyed a relaxing day. Then I got out my stock pot and made about a gallon of turkey stock with the bones. I'll be good for turkey soup for the next year, I'd say.
But that's as may be, it's time for some reviews. Let's get into it.
Today we have articles on: Magic the Gathering Arena of the Planeswalkers, Dirty Tactics Toolbox for Pathfinder, Battle Foam P.A.C.K Molle Accessories, Mafia de Cuba, Porta Nigra, Risk: Star Wars 2015 Edition, Flip City, Xia: Legends of the Drift System, and Doomtown Reloaded.
