Man, this week really did go by fast, at least for me. That’s certainly not a complaint, mind you. I’m always happy for the weekend. And, my dice came in. Though I’m not 100% sure what I’ve got on the schedule. I might go out and play some board games. I might stay in and do some more painting. I’m just not sure. But whatever I do, I know I’ve gotta have some bite-sized gaming stories to snack on beforehand.
Today on the platter we have: Faun Kickstarter Preparing to Start Again, Final Days For Dark Hold: Terror from the Black Isles RPG Kickstarter, and New Dice Sets Available From Kraken Dice.
Rebel Minis is running a Kickstarter campaign for the third book in their Dark Hold Goblin Adventure Series using the Savage Worlds game system.
Plus, there’s a bunch of duckmen minis that are part of the campaign. I mean, c’mon, how many duckman minis are out there? The world certainly could use some more!
Usually, goblins are those things the DM throws at us when we’re level 1-3 in order to get the PCs some extra XP for when the “real” adventure starts up. But in Dark Hold, the goblins are the PCs. And Rebel Minis has released a new adventure for their game series. It’s Lair of the Cerebeast, and as one would expect, there’s a lair full of monsters to go investigate.
The work week continues along. It’s already half-over, in fact. Hopefully yours is going well. Mine’s not been great, but I’m making it through. Got board game day at the library coming up this weekend again. Should be a good time. But in the meantime, let’s bulk up on some bite-size gaming stories.
On the platter today we have: Final Day For D13 and D15 On Kickstarter: Now with Glow-in-the-Dark Dice, BugBear Miniatures WW2 US Troopers Preview, Rebel Minis Dark Hold Goblin Adventures RPG Last Days On Kickstarter, Divine Art Playing Cards Up On Kickstarter, New Iberian Cavalry Available From Victrix, Relicblade: Bone and Darkness Coming To Kickstarter Next Month, Ashton Campbell rides into Blackwater Gulch, and Kromlech New Release: Legionary Lascannon.
Seems just about everything is going on this weekend. PAX, Nova Open, and Dragon*Con are all happening… well, right now, actually. If you’re at one of the shows, awesome. I hope you’re having a blast. If you’re not, well, at least we still have Friday going for us, which is nice. Either way, we should fuel up on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today we have: New Secutarii Hoplite and Peltast Upgrade Kits From Forge World, New Legionary Breacher Bike From Kromlech, The Painting Frog Posts Rumble in the Jungle 2 – The Aftermath, Rebel Minis Dark Hold Goblin Adventures RPG Funded, War Titans: Invaders Must Die Coming To Kickstarter, Battle Gnomes Card Game Coming To Kickstarter, FossilPunk Foundry Unveils Sauriana 54mm Miniatures Game, The Red Sector Cleanup Crew Available To Order From Nexus Miniatures, and Purgatory Box Cover is released.
Goblins. Most gamers are used to coming across packs of them as an initial adventure starting out a campaign. By about level 3, they’re probably not much of a threat anymore (except for those unscrupulous GMs that like to level-advance a whole tribe of them to throw at unsuspecting adventurers). The Dark Hold wants to put goblins front and center where they belong. Rebel Minis is running the Kickstarter campaign that’s going on right now.
