The Battle for Xilos

Technology has made it so we don't have to carry around slices of trees with us wherever we go. Most of us have some form of computer in our pockets most of the day. Then there's those with tablets (the computers, not, like pills). Well, Warlord Games is letting you use those devices to read some of their books. They've got PDF versions of some of their most popular titles now available.
We had all those previews of the various characters that are coming out for Beyond the Gates of Antares. You remember, all those figures from Battle For Xilos. Fartok! Everyone remembers Fartok! Well, him, and a whole bunch of other pieces are available to order over in the Warlord Games webshop now.
With the release of Battle For Xilos, lots of people are jumping on the Beyond the Gates of Antares bandwagon and picking up armies. Well, the figures don't come pre-painted (as you well know). Warlord Games would love to see all those new figures with some shiny, new paint jobs on them. As such, they're running a painting contest for Beyond the Gates of Antares figures.

The Battle for Xilos is here. We've been seeing previews of the various characters that are coming with the book (starting with Fartok, the greatest of them all), but there's more than just the characters inside. You're older than you've ever been, and now you're even older. Eventually, we all pass on from this existence. But that's not such a guarantee in the far-off future existence in Beyond the Gates of Antares. There, it's possible to have your brain placed in a mechanical body (of sorts) and continue living on after your physical body has fallen to pieces. That's just what Xan Tu has done, and he's our new preview for the Battle For Xilos book.
As we continue onward towards the release of the Battle for Xilos expansion book for Beyond the Gates of Antares, Warlord Games keeps enticing us with previews of the new character models that we'll be getting (starting out with Fartok, the best of the group). This time around we get the seventh daughter of a seventh daughter. It's Boromite Guildess Arran Gestalin.
The character previews from the upcoming Battle For Xilos book for Beyond the Gates of Antares continues from Warlord Games. No, it's not another look at Fartok. (I know you're all disappointed) No, this time around it's Amano Harran, Oszoni Freeborn Mercenary Captain.
Warlord Games has posted up another preview of the upcoming Battle for Xilos expansion for Beyond the Gates of Antares. This time around it's another Ghar character in the form of High Commander Karg 12-40-9. You thought the previous Ghar guy had an impressive rig he was riding around in.
Warlord Games is continuing their series previewing the characters coming in the new Battle for Xilos book for Beyond the Gates of Antares. We'd previously gotten a look at Fartok, a new incarnation of him, to be exact. This time around the C3 gets a high muckety-muck in the form of Commander-in-Chief Josen.
The Battle For Xilos book for Beyond the Gates of Antares does more than just add in some new models to your army lists. It moves the narrative for the game forward as well. And, as war tends to do, it changes people. That includes the characters in the game. As such, there will be new versions of characters you've seen before. One is Fartok, previously seen in the "Run Fartok, Run!!!" scenario. Well, he's gotten himself quite a nice suit of armor in the interim. One that Warlord Games is showing off in a new preview.
Warlord Games has begun taking orders for their first-ever expansion supplement for Beyond the Gates of Antares. It's called The Battle For Xilos and it brings a lot of new material for the game. From scenarios, to army lists, to creating characters of your own, to a campaign system.
