Monday Terrain Corner

Back in the office on Monday and Devo’s telling me about workin’ in a coal mine. Now, obviously, running TGN is nothing like actually being in a coal mine. First, I’m at a desk, typing news stories instead of swinging a pick-axe. Next, I’m in very little danger of getting Black Lung. Third, while I’m sure many coal miners do enjoy what they do, it’s probably not the same extent that I enjoy what I do. But Mondays are still Mondays. Let’s try and think about a weekend of gaming ahead, and making those gaming tables looking as good as possible, eh?

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Jabba’s Palace Map Available For Imperial Assault and Fat Dragon Games Offers Free 3D Models With Newsletter.

We still just might make it to the weekend, everyone. Yesterday was certainly a hurdle to get over. Not anything bad (at least on my end of things). Just very busy. Late night at the office working on things, as sometimes happens. But this weekend will hopefully make it all worth it. They usually do. But before we get there, we’ve still got some work today. At the moment, that’s a quick Terrain Corner.

Today we have: Operation Alpha Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame

Ok, so I didn’t go to Adepticon, and that’s sad. However, it’s Monday morning and I’ve got no “convention hangover” and no long-ass drive/flight home and no Con Crud to worry about. So, it has its upsides as well. It would seem that much of my Friend’s list isn’t so lucky. But while they down extra pots of coffee to stay awake or extra gallons of orange juice to cure themselves, they can check out ways to make their gaming tables look great.

Today in the terrain corner we have: New Infinity Inc Battle Mat From Warzone Studio, City Ruins Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, Deep-Cut Studio releases Wild West themed game mat, and New British Defenses from Sally 4th.

The weekend looms ever-closer. I know many of you are up in Chicago right now. I wish I was there with you. But I can live vicariously through all the photos that are being posted. *sighs longingly…*
Anyway, let’s make sure your gaming tables look as good as possible, eh?

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Walking Dead Gaming Mat Available From Deep-Cut Studio, Separate crates available at Micro Art Studio, Ancestral Ruins Obelisk and destroyed Obelisk Available From Tabletop-Art, New Releases Available From ESLO Terrain, and Tiny Wargames UK Having a Sale On Their Gaming Mats.

Well, I’m coming to realize that this is not going to be a regular week. With all the prep and hype for GAMA last week, even though I realize that I leave for Adepticon this week, it’s still sort of a, “oh yeah, that…” instead of, y’know, “Oh yeah! That!!” At Adepticon, one of the things people want to see most are the cool armies and army boards. It’s a big miniatures game, so you know there’s going to be some awesome-looking tables. If you want your tables to look that good, you’ll probably want to check out the stories below.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Dale’s RV Coming to The Walking Dead and

Thursday Terrain Corner

I originally started typing “Monday Terrain Corner” there in the headline. I’m not entirely sure what that means. I do know that it’s been a rather long week. Lots of stuff going on. Busy weeks usually mean quick weeks, but not so much the case this time around. I guess I’m just anxious for game day at the Library this weekend. And if we’re going to be gaming, we should make our game tables look as good as possible.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Hobgoblin-3D – 3D Printed Terrain Now Available, DUNGEONFOG RPG Map Maker Coming to Kickstarter, Final Days For Printable Scenery On Kickstarter, Hellgate Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, Heroic Maps – Day & Night: Hobcastle Ruins – Orc Fort now Available, and Deep Delve Dungeon – dungeon building kit in resin On Indiegogo.

Hello again, work week. I guess it’s nice to see you again. It’s looking like Winter, who has been on vacation for most of… well… winter, is making a run at it here just as we’re a week away from Spring officially starting. Better late than never? *shrugs lots*
Anyway, as is tradition, we’ve got our bit to make sure your gaming tables look as good as possible.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Samurai Terrain from Sarissa, New 15mm Arabian Buildings From Najewitz Modellbau, and Operation Delta Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.

I mentioned before that this week is going by fast. It’s only picking up speed, so it feels. Could be that GAMA is next week and I’ve still got what feels like a bajillion things to do. It’s all the various whatnots I’ve been alluding to over the past months. Those are all being announced. It’ll be nice to finally be able to talk about them, but it’s also making sure that every word written about them when they are announced is perfect. So yeah, there’s that. But that’s that. This is where I make sure your gaming tables look as good as possible.

So in the Terrain Corner today we have: New Samurai Gaming mat From Tiny Wargames, Heroic Maps – Docking Bay 1V-1E Now Available, Deep-Cut Studio releases limited edition game mat for space combats, and Manorhouse Workshop Update 14.

Well, it wasn’t exactly “clock out Friday. Seemingly immediately clock in on Monday” but the whole of the weekend still felt faster than any individual day last week. And I’m still at home for the start of this week. But the internet should be going in at the new office in the next couple of days. Maybe I’ll have direct human interaction again! But in the meantime, let’s get your gaming tables looking as good as possible for when you interact with other gamers while playing some games.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Industrial Zone Terrain From Warzone Studio, HMAS Furious Steampunk Airship Up On Kickstarter, North Pass Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, Manorhouse Workshop Update 13 – Back to the… Dynamic Floors & Sewers, and Heroic Maps – Spacecraft: HLS Freighter “Capabilita” Now Available.

The week continues to just crawl on by. Man, I’ve not felt a week has taken this long for quite a while. I feel like I should be typing up the Friday Snippets instead of the Thursday Terrain Corner. But here we are. What do you suppose the chances are that the weekend will be like that? Where Saturday afternoon I’ll be going, “Geeze! Isn’t it supposed to be Monday by now!?” Probably very low. But, in the meantime, let’s make your gaming tables look as good as possible.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Battlefront Features Battlefield in a Box: Small Desert Houses, Robot City Obelisks Available From Frontline Gaming, Obelisk and Amphora sets Available From Tabletop-Art, Battlefront Features Battlefield in a Box: Desert Walls, Battlefield Game Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, New Arabian Terrain From Najewitz Modellbau, and New Exotic Locations Terrain From Sally 4th.

It’s Thursday and I’m at home. The Office Move continues, with much of the furniture making its way to the new building. But since the new place isn’t quite ready yet, many of us are working from home. Besides, trying to write while movers are going up and down the halls with stuff is a bit distracting.

Speaking of buildings, we’ve got a bunch of terrain stories for you today. One of the biggest Terrain Corners I can remember. So let’s get to it.

Today we have: New Webshop Open For Last Sword Miniatures, Battlefield in a Box: Medium Desert House Available From Battlefront, Mage Company Features 12 Realms: Dungeonland Scenery Packs, Classic Columns Now Available From Tabletop-Art, Champion’s Bowl Game Mat Available From Warzone Studio, New Gaming Mats Available From Frontline Gaming, Sailpower multi-scale Ships Up On Kickstarter, New Normandy Terrain From Najewitz Modellbau, Battlefield in a Box: Desert Escarpments Available From Battlefront, Manorhouse Workshop & RGFX collaboration: The Dark Crypt (Fog Tower), Valdisfjell The West Door Map Available From Heroic Maps, Warland Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, Battlefield in a Box: Desert Palms Available From Battlefront, and New Orc Barrels Available From Kromlech.

It’s President’s Day here in the US and we’ve got the day off here at TGN Industries. So why am I making posts? Because the news doesn’t stop, and with all the announcements that’ve come in from various places, especially what’s going on in New York this past weekend, I can’t really afford to just sit on all that for an extra day.

Anyway, over the weekend I did get in most of a game of Guild Ball as I’d hoped. The game was called on account of lunch, unfortunately. But waddyagonnado? Well, download Vassal and maybe play some games online. But that’s beside the point.

As for right now, let’s get your gaming tables looking good.

In the Terrain Corner today we have: Heroic Maps Discover: Hollowild Gorge & Caves Map Now Available, Brigade Models Release Harbour defenses, Time Warp Printable Scenery Up On Kickstarter, Woodland: Pwork Wargames Gaming Mat Now Available, and Heroic Maps Foxtail Hills: Goblin Caves Available Now.

Well, it’s Monday and we’re back in the office. Though it’s highly likely this is the last Monday here in this office. We’ll be changing locations soon. No, there shouldn’t be a big gap in posts. Worse comes to worse, with my laptop, I can update from anywhere with wifi. But yeah, we’ve been here for 4 years. It’ll be interesting to be in a new building. But that’s as may be. As for now, we’ve gotta make sure your gaming tables look great.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Deathworld Forest Terrain From Games Workshop, Heroic Maps Foxtail Hills: Ambush Road Now Available, Cobblestone City: Pwork Wargames Gaming Mat Now Available, and Eiffel Extravaganza – Steampunk Paris 1896 Terrain Up On Kickstarter.

Well, if you are going to be gaming, might as well have a good looking table to game on, right? So let’s make sure it looks as good as possible.

The week races along. We’re once again at Thursday, the penultimate day of the work week. If you’re lucky, you’ve made some sort of plans for the weekend, possibly involving gaming. I’m not lucky. I’ve got nothing planned yet… I dunno. Maybe I’ll bake something else. The cheesecake went over rather well, after all. … Maybe lemon custard with a lime mousse on top… I dunno. I’ve still got some time to think about it. Meanwhile, let’s talk about making your gaming tables look their best.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New RPG Gaming Mats by Custom Terrain and Badlands Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.

We’re once again at the beginning of the week. It’s ok, though, at least for me, because I have cheesecake with raspberry-lime sauce (I did say I was going to make some over the weekend). That should help tide us over to next weekend, where gaming will be had (hopefully). And if there’s going to be gaming, there should be good-looking gaming tables. So let’s help with that.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Algoryn Orbital Transmat from Sarissa precision, New wave of 15mm terrains from Terrains4Games, Brigade Models Release 2mm Roman Fort, and Walking Dead miniature game mat release from Deep-Cut Studio.

It’s a cool and rainy day here in Atlanta. It seems much of the East Coast is bracing for some nasty weather today as well. I hope you all stay safe. I also hope you got some gaming in over the weekend. I got to teach a couple friends how to play Guild Ball. We didn’t actually get a chance to play D&D as expected, but sometimes that kinda thing happens.

Anyway, another kinda thing that happens is that we give you terrain stories on Monday.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Axolote Tiles Nature Set On Kickstarter and Pwork Wargames Outlander Terrain Mat Now Available.

Thursday Terrain Corner

And just like that, we’ve made it to Thursday. The weekend is almost within our grasp. Hopefully you have gaming-related plans. This weekend is the first Board Game Day up at the Milton Library for the year. They took last November and December off, but they’re back once again. If you don’t have an LGS that you can go and play at, perhaps talk to your local library about getting a Games Day going there.

As for the exact moment, we need to make sure your gaming tables look as good as possible.

In the Terrain Corner today we have: Baueda Releases New Drums, Barrels, and Casks; Manorhouse Workshop Update 11 – Forgotten Halls – Hard Plastic – Fortified Terrace; New Terrain Pieces From Terrain4Games; Hadrian’s Wall in 2mm Available From Brigade Models; Heroic Maps release Modular Kit: Starship Corridors; Starbase Starter and Expansion: Pwork Space Tiles Set Now Available; New 28mm tent kits from Sally 4th; Massive Miniature Building Authority Sale; New Sentry Platforms Available From Kromlech; Manorhouse Workshop Update 12 – You can use Forgotten Halls on any existing terrain; Cyber City: Pwork Wargames science fiction gaming mat now available; and Battlefront Posts New Desert Terrain Preview.

The “week of being back to normal” continues. I’m certainly a creature of habit, and so getting back into “the regular swing of things” has been rather relaxing. Plus, there’s some really awesome things going on here at the office that I’ve been part of. I mean, just for example, yesterday I (REDACTED) and then talked with a coworker about (REDACTED) as well as (REDACTED). But if we’re going to be doing that kind of stuff, we’ll need good-looking gaming tables. So let’s make that happen.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Ruined Complex: Pwork Wargames gaming Scenery Set Now Available, New Normandie House Available From Escenografia Epsilon, and Arid Plain: Pwork Wargames Gaming Mat Now Available.

They’ve reconfigured and relaunched their Resin and MDF Buildings Kickstarter campaign.

Friday Snippets Corner

Hey everyone.
Well, the first week of the year is coming to a close. It’s been… an odd one. Monday I had off. Tuesday I had to take my car in for repairs (which got finished up on Thursday, since they had to order in a part). Wednesday and Thursday I had some stomach issues. Now it’s Friday and everyone here in Atlanta is bracing for a “huge snowstorm” that’s on its way. Hopefully it’s not too bad and everyone out there stays safe.
But just as everyone is stocking up on bread and milk, let’s stock up on some bite-sized gaming stories, as well as some terrain pieces from this week.

As such, we have: Flat Plastic Miniatures 2 Up On Kickstarter, New Sleeves Unlocked in Mage Company Kickstarter, New Metalized Discworld Death Bust From Micro Art Studio, New Magnetic Foil Sets Available From Tabletop-Art, Avatars of War Having Plastic Harpies Sale This Week, Brigade Models 6mm Habitation Dome Released, Heer46 launches Gebirgsjaeger Kickstarter, Molecules of Hatred: Wulfrim Irongrudge Available, and Acheson Releases More Dungeon Worlds Part 2 Figures.

Friday Terrain Snippets

Hey guys. You might’ve noticed we didn’t have a Terrain Corner yesterday. That’s because I was whisked away to help work on a super-ultra-deep-covert project. Or, being that a lot of companies are currently on holiday, there wasn’t much to report on. One of the two. Anyway, so today we’ve got a combined Terrain Corner/Friday Snippets for you.

Today we have: Coffin Set 1 Available From Tabletop-Art, Dust Town Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargames, MAGE Company launches on Kickstarter the MCG Premium Sleeves, and New Infinity dedicated 70mm Tech Round base From Micro Art Studio.

Well, it’s Monday and we’re back into the office. I can’t say that it was the best of weekends, but at least Sunday was a bit productive. D&D got cancelled due to half the players having outside things they needed to do. Sunday was full of a deep-cleaning of the apartment because I like to have a clean place for the holidays and the new year. So, not a lot of gaming going on. But that’s alright. There will be later occasions. And for those occasions, making sure the gaming table looks as good as possible is of high priority.

In today’s Terrain Corner we have: Combat Plaza: Pwork Wargames Sci-Fi Gaming Mat Now Available and New orbital game mat for Dropfleet Commander released from Deep-Cut Studio.

Thursday Terrain Corner

It’s already Thursday. At least, for me, this week has gone much like last week. That is to say, it’s gone by very quickly. That’s not a complaint, mind you. However, I do need to actually figure out what I’m going to be doing with my D&D group this Saturday… I’ll just throw a dragon at them or something. They’re level 1. They can handle it, I’m sure…
But before we get to the TPK, we should make it so your gaming tables look as good as possible.

In the Terrain Corner today we have: Space Sector Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, Heroic Maps: The Altar of Corrosion Now Available, and Sci-Fi Modular Rooms and Map Up On Kickstarter.

Well, the weekend is over. Mine didn’t quite turn out like I’d hoped. Didn’t get a chance to do any gaming, but did have a chance to do some cooking. This year’s fruitcake is a success, I’d say. Just need to get more people to give it a try.
But anyway, let’s get straight over to making your gaming tables look as good as possible.

Today we have: Two New Star Wars Play Mats Available From Fantasy Flight Games,City Ruins Map Available From Pwork Wargame, Heroic Maps – Flottederoi Frozen Harbour Now Available, and More battlefield terrain at Micro Art Studio store.

So the middle of yesterday sort of dragged along, but overall the week is still going by in a flash (for me, at least). Hopefully you have weekend plans like I do. We’re going to be having a build party for my friend’s original Kingdom Death set. Though, really, I’m gonna be trying to get people to play Guild Ball, instead, since I didn’t get a chance last week like I was gonna have. 😛

But in the meantime, we need to make your gaming tables look as good as possible.

In the Terrain Corner today we have: Frontline Games 20% OFF Holiday Sale Plus Special Deals, Dungeon Worlds Part 3 Kickstarter Stretch Goal #2 Posted, New Micro Art Studio battlefield terrain, Deep-Cut Studio releases a new game mat for Dropzone Commander, GAMEIN5D Foldable Game Board On Kickstarter, Deadland: Pwork Wargames Gaming Mat Now Available, Final Hours For Exotic Locations Indiegogo Campaign, Heroic Maps Whitlark Forest Trading Post Now Available, and New Tyranid Hive Planet Mat From Warzone Studio.

Unfortunately, gaming plans fell through, but it was still a decent weekend. There’s always next week. Gotta get my S3 Guild Ball on at some point.

But at the moment it’s about making your gaming tables look good.

It’s December. Yesterday, we had some pretty nasty storms roll through here in Atlanta. Today, it’s definitely a bit cooler than it had been. Sure, a high of 54 might not seem too cold to someone in Chicago (where I grew up). But it’s colder than the 70s it’d been the previous couple days. Staying in and playing some games sounds rather nice. So let’s make sure those gaming tables look good.

Today in our Terrain Corner we have: New Firefly Airship from Burn In Designs, Heroic Maps – Explorer: Night Camps Now Available, Deep-Cut Studio releases a new Neo-Tokyo game mat, Infinity Scenery: Pwork Wargames gaming Scenery Sets Now Available, and Crossroads gaming mat by Warzone Studio Now Available.

Well, it’s Monday and I’m back in the office after a very long and very nice weekend. 3 days of gaming/eating and then a chill day at home and watching my first Christmas movie of the year (National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, to be exact). Since Thursday was a holiday, we didn’t get the terrain corner back then. So it’s a bit of an overstuffed (just like I was Thursday and Friday) version for you today.

We have: Manorhouse Workshop Update #9 – Hard Plastic – Forgotten Halls without floors?, Heroic Maps – Geomorphs: Nordendorf – Houses Now Available, Industrial Ruins: Pwork Wargames science fiction gaming mat Now Available, Goal Markers Terrain Up On Kickstarter, Heroic Maps – Explorer: Forest Clearings Now Available, and Hellgate: Pwork Wargames fantasy gaming mat Now Available.

In this Corner we have: New Terrain Kits by Burn In Designs, Goal Post Terrain Up On Kickstarter, Tabletop World released the new Watermill, Tabletop World Holiday Sale Happening Now, StudioLevel Terrain Now Available, and Lifeless Land: Pwork Wargames Sci-Fi Gaming Mat Now Available.
