Well hello there, middle of the week. Nice to see you. I tell you what, I’m really ready for the weekend. I’m still trying to catch up from Expo on my sleep. But that’s what you get when you’re up late gaming for several nights in a row, followed by full days hanging out with some really awesome people. So, as I try and keep my eyes open, I need to snack on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Imperial Palace bases Available from Dark Art Miniatures, New Flagstone bases now Available From Tabletop-Art, and 20mm Vehicle Armor Plates Available From Ramshackle Games.
Well-known by you readers as one of my most-favorite days of the week, Friday just has so much… potential. You get out of work and it’s like, “Man! I could do anything!” Ok, maybe not anything, but you know what I mean. So, as you get set for your weekend adventures, make sure you binge on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Hirelings of Asura Coming To Kickstarter April 26th, Muddy Pitch Bases Available From Tabletop-Art, and Final Hours for Devil’s Dungeon II Kickstarter.
And we’ve made it to Friday. Woohoo! The weekend looms ahead of us, full of all the potential that it brings. But, before we chow down on all those hard-boiled eggs and kielbasa (at least, that’s what I’ll be having) over the next couple days, let’s snack on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Miniature Building Authority Running Modern 28mm Truck Kickstarter, Syrinscape and Chaosium Inc. Announce Official Sounds for Call of Cthulhu, Sally 4th Releases New Canal Boats, and New Ruins of Sanctuary Bases Available From Tabletop-Art.
We’re halfway through the week, folks (well, those of us that work Monday-Friday, that is). I hope your week is going along well. For mine, I’ve been coming up with a new character for a D&D game starting up soon. I’ve never made a 5th Edition character before, but I’ve made dozens of them for other editions. So it’s a bit of “this is familiar, but not.” I’m doing my best to not accidentally inject 3rd and 4th edition knowledge into 5th, and make assumptions based on those and thus, screwing things up. But I think I’m getting it. But if I’m going to finish this character up, I need to refresh with some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Gravetides Fantasy Naval Fleet Up On Kickstarter, New Ogre Chariot From NonsenseMiniatures, Rebel Minis Releases New Viper Models, and Big Crystal Field Bases Now Available From Tabletop-Art.
Gateway to the weekend. AND! I placed an order for some new dice yesterday. So you know I’m stoked. When dice sets sell out in a matter of minutes, and you manage to get some, it’s a pretty good feeling. Still riding high on that wave today.
Anyway, as I wait for those to come in, I think I’ll snack on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: New Starship Bases Available From Tabletop-Art, Really Useful Star Wars X Wing Storage Available From Sally 4th, and Zangrahel by Ignacio Fernández Ríos Available From Industria Mechanica.
Happy Cheap Candy Day!
Quick! Before the stores swap out everything for Easter stuff, go grab yourself some red-tinted and heart-shaped boxes of goodies for less than you’d usually spend!
And with the money you saved on that candy, you can go get yourself some new terrain for your gaming table.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Heroic Maps – Day & Night: The Temple of Love Now Available, Candleholder set and kit Available From Tabletop-Art, and Deadland Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
Hello, Friday, my old friend.
This has been the first full-week of the year, methinks. Like, ok, I know that we’re already into February, but I think this might be the only week where I’ve been up and into the office each day. Just been that type of year so far, I suppose. What might help is bulking up on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: The Army Painter Announces New Zombicide: Green Horde Paint Sets, Dice Coins Up On Kickstarter, Muddleflog Paper Miniatures Are Now Available, and New Oval Ancient Machinery Bases Available From Tabletop-Art.
Still working on getting better from this cold. It always seems to take me longer to get back to 100% than it does days that I’m actually feeling sick. It’s like, “Ok, these are the days I’m definitely sick” and then a week of, “I’m hoping this is the last day of this garbage.”
I’m starting to get my appetite back, though. So I’m going to chow down on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today in the platter we have: Treasure Towers Dice Towers Up On Kickstarter, Now available – New Ancestral Ruins bases From Tabletop-Art, Necronomicon Dice Up On Kickstarter, and New Nurgle Trays from Battle Foam: Great Unclean One.
Well, it’s back to the old grindstone. But we’ll always have the memories of the weekend that just went by. I hope you got some gaming in. I did. I tried out Photosynthesis, as well as taught Guild Ball to a friend. It was a good time had by all. But now the focus is on next weekend, and whatever cool games I’ll be playing then. They might require terrain. And, if they do, I want it to look good. So, without further ado…
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Wild West Exodus Previews New Terrain, Fantasy Flight Games Releases Playmat For Twilight Imperium, New Dunes Planet Space Gaming Mat Available From Deep-Cut Studio, and New Plastic Box Sets Available From Tabletop-Art.
The weekend is almost upon us! I’m already getting my gaming on today. I’ll be playing some of the Munchkin CCG, as well as perhaps some of the Fallout board game. That’s before I go over to a friend’s place tomorrow to deliver some late Christmas presents (ok, really late)… they’re games. So hopefully we’ll play them some. But if I’m going to be doing all this gaming, I should be well-fed. Good thing I’ve got some gaming stories to nosh on. Including cotton candy dice. Yes, I ordered these dice this morning. #NoSuchThingAsTooManyDice
Today on the platter we have: Cotton Candy Dice Available From Kraken Dice, Goblin Factory Releases New Goblins, and Magnetic Days – 25% DISCOUNT On Magnetic Gear At Tabletop-Art.
Well, the blustery weather from yesterday is gone. Now it’s just cold. Hopefully the storm didn’t hit you all too bad. I’ve got various friends up north that are dealing with the aftermath, but it’s all not too terribly bad stuff. Though I doubt many are going to be heading to the LGS. Well, they can still stay in and game. And while gaming, they can snack on these bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: New Flying Stands Available From Warlord Games, Acolyte Miniatures Previews New Cleric Robert de Foresta Mini, New Kill Team Special Weapons Packs Available From Victoria Miniatures, Tabletop-Art Previews Heart-Blood Sucking Vampire, and Brigade Models Release New British Aeronef.
Apocalypse! Armageddon! The End of Times!
Yes, it’s lightly snowing here in Atlanta.
… Ok, so it’s kinda hard to see in that photo, but it’s actually picked up a bit more here.
So, while we prepare our milk sandwiches with bleach, we can also nibble on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: New Legionary Sentry Gun Battery Bundle From Kromlech, Rebel Minis Release Screecher Bug and Robot Gan, Woodland bases 30mm RL and 40mm RL Available From Tabletop-Art, and New Medusa Miniature Available From Brother Vinni.
Continuing the theme, in a way, it’s Friday, since it’s the last workday of the week. But it’s actually Wednesday. Thankfully, either way, we’d be having a Snippets post. So, before we all chow down on all that delicious food tomorrow, let’s tide ourselves over with some bite-sized gaming stories now.
On the platter we have: More Ancient Machinery Bases Available from Tabletop-Art, New Guild Ball Tokens and More Available From Advanced Deployment, Brigade Models Christmas Sale Happening Now, November Releases Available From Stoessi’s Heroes, New Bunnies Minis Available From Brother Vinni, Aeon Trespass: Nymphs Boutique Minis Up On Kickstarter, Grimlight: Tiny magnet-controlled lights for miniatures up On Kickstarter, Khurasan releases 6mm Federal Army infantry, Bits of War Black Friday Sale Coming This Weekend, and Micro Art Studio Black Friday Sale Happening Tomorrow.
Fridaaaaaaaaay! And a Friday off, to boot! Yes, I know, I’m technically off of work but I’m still typing up posts. That’s because I love you all thaaaaat much! Who do I also love? Our Veterans. The reason we have today off is because it’s Veteran’s Day here in the States. My dad’s a veteran, as are many of my friends, and I thank them for their service. So, before I log off and spend a day just chilling, let’s nom on a quick bite-sized gaming story.
Today on the platter we have: New Cobblestone Bases Available from Tabletop-Art.
We’re halfway there, everyone. The work-week is half-done and it’s getting ever-closer to the weekend. Of course, I’m excited for that. I’m hoping to get in some gaming up at the LGS. Trying to get a whole group together for some Guild Ball. Also starting to make Thanksgiving plans, because that’s a thing I do. Speaking of bite-sized goodies, let’s dig into our regular fare of bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Dragon Bagons Dice Bags Up On Kickstarter, Sylvan Gamer’s Box Up On Kickstarter, Orc Chirurgeon on bike Available From Kromlech, RBJ Games Running Skeletons Kickstarter, New Ancestral Ruins Bases Available From Tabletop-Art, Magic Item Card Catalog: 5e Fantasy Reference Cards Up On Kickstarter, and WWII German Gebirgsjaeger Available from Askari Miniatures.
Reasons why today’s pretty awesome:
1) It’s Friday
2) It’s going to be a 3-day weekend
3) We’ve got our chili and dessert cook-off today
I mean… how does it really get much better than that? Well, I guess I could be gaming afterward. But I don’t have any lined up for the evening.
But in the meantime, let’s nosh on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: New Sci-Fi Mini Available From Brother Vini, Darkfast Classic Fantasy Paper Miniatures Returns, Weekend Sale at Kromlech, and New Grim Reaper Minis Available From Tabletop-Art.
And here we are again. Friday: threshold to the weekend. I’m sure many of you are gearing up for a weekend of gaming, possibly starting as early as when you get off of work. I’m looking to spend tomorrow at the LGS, hopefully getting in some games of Guild Ball and Bushido. But whatever your gaming vice might be, it’s best to top off with some bite-sized gaming stories before diving in.
Today on the platter we have: THEO – The Hobby Equipment Organizer Up On Kickstarter, New Sisters of Eternal Mercy Available From Raging Heroes, New Cobblestone Bases Available From Tabletop-Art, New Flocking/Basing System Available From Fontline Games, New 28mm Romanian 75mm Resita Anti-tank Gun M1943, Open Game Master Looking To Bring Drop-In D&D To The Masses, and It’s Bomber Month at PicoArmor.
And here we are, back at Monday. Thinking back, this is the first Monday in the last 3 that I’ve been at the office. Last week was the storm, and the week before was Labor Day. My Monday shirts got a bit of a vacation, I suppose. But they’re back it today, and that means getting your gaming tables looking good.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Final Days for ESLO Terrain Printable Ships Kickstarter, New Mousepad Material Mats Available From Pwork Wargame, DRAGONLOCK™ 3 Kickstarter launches September 19th, Dungeon Box RPG Scenery by Custom Terrain Up On Kickstarter, Normandy Church Terrain Available From Tabletop-Art, Forge Prints Running Adventurescapes Kickstarter, and Heroic Maps – Storeys: Pyramid of the Sun Priests Now Available.
As we stand here, on Friday afternoon, on the precipice of the weekend, it seems appropriate to make a profound and meaningful statement about life, itself…
… … … Anyone got anything? … Anyone? … Ah well, instead how about we just munch on some bite-sized gaming stories? Sounds like a plan.
Today on the platter we have: Woodland 25mm und 40mm flat Bases Available From Tabletop-Art, Khurasan releases Vietnam War range, and 100 Oddities for a Treasure Hoard Available From Skirmisher Publishing.
It’s already Wednesday. Is the week going by quickly for everyone else, too? It feels like it is for me, anyway. But being busy will do that, I suppose. If I’m going to keep up this pace, I should stock up on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today we have: Scrap Steel Base Deals Available From Tabletop-Art, Rebel Minis Releases 28mm Minotaur Warlord, Fog Monster Mini Fog Machine Up On Kickstarter, Saint Brendan of Clonfert Mini Available From Brother Vinni, and Through Gamer Goggles Posts Gen Con 2017 Interviews.
The week continues along, with the weekend looming ever-closer. Out in CA, there’s thousands of people converging in San Diego. Apparently, something’s happening out there this weekend. 😉
But I’m nowhere near all that. I’m just here making sure your gaming tables look as good as possible.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Operation Alpha Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, Manorhouse Workshop Posts Forgotten Halls Teaser Video, New Flat Hills Available From Micro Art Studio, and
15mm Barricades and Sandbag Walls Set Available from Tabletop-Art.
Having been home on Monday and Tuesday, it’s really throwing off what day of the week it is to me. Even though I’m sitting here in my Wednesday shirt, it doesn’t really feel like Wednesday. Typing up a Podcast Roundup this morning didn’t help, either. Maybe having a Snippets post now will help. I guess there’s one way to find out.
Today on the platter we have: New Farm Animals Available From Warlord Games, More fantasy football head sets Available From Tabletop-Art, Retro Power Armor Mini Available From Brother Vinni, Skirmisher Publishing Releases 100 Oddities for an Enchanted Forest, and New Hobby Black Chains Available From Kromlech.
The week continues along. It’s a shortened week for many of us, but it’s still a week. We’ll make it to next weekend, eventually, though. No worries. But if we want to get there, we should re-energize with some bite-size gaming stories.
Today we have: New Magic Tokens Available From Advanced Deployment, New Releases Available From Purgatory Miniatures, Khurasan releases 15mm Parthians, New Crystal Tech blank Bases Deals Available From Tabletop-Art, Surreal Dice Tower Coming To Kickstarter, Acheson Creations Releases Daedon Miniature, Final Days for Hedgerows and Heroes On Kickstarter, New Glyphs Available From Bits of War, and Flat Bases for War Contraptions Now Available From Tabletop-Art.
Well, we’re halfway there, everyone. Next weekend is as far ahead of us as the previous one is behind us. Just gotta power through another 2.5 days and we’ll be back at Saturday. Ah, glorious Saturday. But if we’re going to get there, we should recharge ourselves with some bite-sized gaming stories.
On the platter today we have: Scotia Grendel Posts New Releases, Now available: More round and oval Stonefloor Bases and Deals From Tabletop-Art, Tattoo Ink Card Deck Up On Indiegogo, Tiny Tin Troops Wargame Supplies & Services Launches New Website, XCase Clear Modular Miniatures Display and Transport On Kickstarter, RN Estudio Launches Mythexplorers Kickstarter, Native Renegades from Blind Beggar Miniatures now on Kickstarter, and Brigade Models Releases New 6mm and 15mm Yenpalo Aliens.
Well, it’s Friday again. Woo!
I hope your week went by as quickly as mine did. Being busy after a long weekend will do that. And this weekend looks to be really busy as well. Lots of projects just showed up at the door that I will be dealing with on Sunday as well as into next week. Considering what I’m working on, that’s very much not a complaint. But if I’m going to be doing all of that, I need to be well-fed. So I’m gonna nosh on some bite-sized gaming stories, and you should, too.
Today on the platter we have: New Promo Releases From NonsenseMiniatures, Ouroboros Miniatures Fey Kickstarter is live, Archmage Origins Coming To Kickstarter, Greebo Games Limited Edition Easter Minis Up On Kickstarter, New Chickens and Rooster Set Available From Tabletop-Art, New Preview for Circle of Blood by Last Bullet Games, and New Release Available From Hitech Miniatures.
We’re continuing our trek through the work week. Actually, in a way, for me it’s sort of like a Friday. I say “sort of” because I’m gonna be working from home tomorrow a bit, but I actually have the day off. Don’t worry, though. I’ll still be bringing you some stories. But yeah, gottta get some stuff prepped for the weekend. What am I going to be doing? Well, going to a binge watching party for the new season of MST3K that’s coming out.
But that’s for later. As for now, it’s time to make sure your gaming tables look as good as possible.

The week rolls along, just as the thunder outside rolls along.
I have to say, obviously I hope that everyone stays safe and there’s no property damage, but at the same time, the Midwesterner in me is going, “Squeee! Thunderstorms! Yay!”
I miss the storms that’d roll through Kansas and Missouri back when I lived there.
Anyway, as long as lightning doesn’t knock out the power or internet, let’s get you a platter full of bite-sized gaming stories.

Well, quite a week we’re having, aren’t we? But that’s what happens during big shows like GAMA. I’m sure all the surprises aren’t finished, either. Well, if we’re going to be hitting F5 on all our gaming sites, hoping for the latest updates, we’ll need to stay energized. We can do that by noshing on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Bog’s Minis Releasing Mushroom Men Miniatures on Kickstarter, Koti Games To Launch Badass Riders Kickstarter, Aletta 90mm Mini Available From Brother Vinni, New Releases Available From Hitech Miniatures, Free postage on order over £50 until Sunday From Victrix, Hyacinth Games’ Kickstarter Coming In 2 days, New Round Base Skirmish Trays Available From Kromlech, 25mm Dirty Old Town Bases Now Available From Tabletop-Art, Orc and Goblin Minis Up On Kickstarter, and Wu Wei Launches on Kickstarter Next Week.
Amazing what a difference a week makes. Last week, I was lamenting how long it was all taking. This morning, I woke up and was like, “Whoah… it’s already Wednesday!” That certainly works for me. Faster to get to the weekend, the better. But if we’re going to be going along at this break-neck pace, we should stock up on some bite-sized gaming stories.

The week continues to just crawl on by. Man, I’ve not felt a week has taken this long for quite a while. I feel like I should be typing up the Friday Snippets instead of the Thursday Terrain Corner. But here we are. What do you suppose the chances are that the weekend will be like that? Where Saturday afternoon I’ll be going, “Geeze! Isn’t it supposed to be Monday by now!?” Probably very low. But, in the meantime, let’s make your gaming tables look as good as possible.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: Battlefront Features Battlefield in a Box: Small Desert Houses, Robot City Obelisks Available From Frontline Gaming, Obelisk and Amphora sets Available From Tabletop-Art, Battlefront Features Battlefield in a Box: Desert Walls, Battlefield Game Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, New Arabian Terrain From Najewitz Modellbau, and New Exotic Locations Terrain From Sally 4th.
It’s Thursday and I’m at home. The Office Move continues, with much of the furniture making its way to the new building. But since the new place isn’t quite ready yet, many of us are working from home. Besides, trying to write while movers are going up and down the halls with stuff is a bit distracting.
Speaking of buildings, we’ve got a bunch of terrain stories for you today. One of the biggest Terrain Corners I can remember. So let’s get to it.
Today we have: New Webshop Open For Last Sword Miniatures, Battlefield in a Box: Medium Desert House Available From Battlefront, Mage Company Features 12 Realms: Dungeonland Scenery Packs, Classic Columns Now Available From Tabletop-Art, Champion’s Bowl Game Mat Available From Warzone Studio, New Gaming Mats Available From Frontline Gaming, Sailpower multi-scale Ships Up On Kickstarter, New Normandy Terrain From Najewitz Modellbau, Battlefield in a Box: Desert Escarpments Available From Battlefront, Manorhouse Workshop & RGFX collaboration: The Dark Crypt (Fog Tower), Valdisfjell The West Door Map Available From Heroic Maps, Warland Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, Battlefield in a Box: Desert Palms Available From Battlefront, and New Orc Barrels Available From Kromlech.
It has been a busy week.
Work has been full of time working on (redacted). I can’t wait until I can tell you all about it. Other than that, I’m making pizza tonight. And by that, I mean I made my own sauce from scratch, and the dough ball that will be the crust is currently in the fridge, slowly rising. It’ll be brought out when I get home. The only thing I didn’t do was cure my own bacon, grind my own Italian sausage, or make my own mozzarella cheese… though I could possibly do those first two, and might at some point. And as for tomorrow, it’s Board Game Day at the Milton Library, where I’ll be playing Guild Ball and Fujian Trader. Hopefully you have your own gaming plans lined up. With all that going on, it’s best to load up on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today we have: Ancestral Ruins Bases 20x20mm and 25x25mm Now Available From Tabletop-Art, Arcane Arts gets a face lift, Zen Bins Destiny Storage Trays Up On Kickstarter, Titan-forge Launches Dragon Empire Kickstarter, More Info Posted About Trollkins Indiegogo Campaign, New Ultimate Barrage Template from Pyrkol, Desert Basing Kit Available From Gale Force Nine, Khurasan releases Oceanic Republic NF range, and New Weekend Promo from Kromlech.
We’ve arrived, beautiful readers. Friday is here and we’re making our way through it to the weekend. It won’t be long now and there’ll be a couple great days of just hanging out and maybe doing some gaming. I’m happy because my friend came back from LVO and brought me the new Season 3 cards and a couple players for Guild Ball. So I’ll be assembling Granite and Veteran Siren either tonight or tomorrow, with them hopefully seeing the pitch soon. Best to make sure I’m well-fed on some bite-sized gaming stories.

And we’re already to Wednesday. It helps the week go along when you’re off on Monday.
It’s also my friend Gilbert’s birthday!
You old, dude.
Anyway, along with cake and ice cream, we should fill up on some bite-sized gaming stories.
