Squadron Strike

Many of us love Star Wars and Star Trek. But all of us know that the actions depicted on-screen don't really depict what space combat would be like. And the minis games based on those series really leave out a lot of the intricacies of the combat, such as momentum and elevation. Well, sometimes you want that more intricate, complex set of rules for your games. That's where Squadron Strike: Traveller comes in. It's up on Kickstarter now.
For everyone that's been worried about it: My fruitcake turned out perfectly. :P
Since I know that all of you have been waiting with baited breath to find out about it. We'll see how it goes over with everyone at the office tomorrow, where everyone will get a good bite of what, I hope, is a new revolution in thinking about fruitcake.

On the subject of good bites, we've got some bite-sized news stories for you, as usual.

Today's include: Iron Cross: release date & pre-order announced, Rebel Minis Releases 28mm Dark Hold Bonewalker Wraiths Set, Squadron Strike 2nd Edition Coming Now, and Hadekine Demon release by Gary Hunt Miniatures and Zombiesmith.

Is the week racing along for everyone else or is it just me? Hard to believe that it's already Wednesday. Seems that we just started this week a couple days ago... Ok, so we did just start this week a couple days ago, but you know what I mean. What it does mean, though, is that we've got a midweek Snippets post for you.

In this batch of bite-sized stories we have: Kensei Coming Soon To Kickstarter, Awaken Tabletop RPG Passes Funding Goal on Kickstarter, Final days for Wolf & Hound on Kickstarter, Final Hours for Ninja Crusade 2nd Edition On Kickstarter, Final Hours for Spellbook Gaming Boxes on Kickstarter, Skirmisher Publishing Releases 100 Oddities for a Graveyard, Licensed Coins from The Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit on Kickstarter, Fireforge Russian Infantry sculpting completed, Squadron Strike Ship Book 2 Back in "Print" as a PDF, The Ion Age: Rewards Programme upgraded and expanded, and Kromlech New Release - Legionary Chain Axes.
