Final days for Rise of the Draconids on Kickstarter

AntiMatter Games has just a couple days left in their Rise of the Draconids Kickstarter campaign. They’ve passed their goal and are working through stretch goals.

Draconids

Source

From the campaign:

Now that we’re nearing the last few days, there are a couple of changes to the stretch goals, adding in a couple of scenic terrain items and bringing in Lithiana a bit closer, to $11,500. The first scenic item are treasure markers, resin cast and about 40-50mm in diameter with lots of detailed gold, crystals and ether tech items. There are planned to be two per pack due to their size. These are placed as treasure objective markers during the game. The next scenic item is a crystal outcropping, areas where models may mine valuable ether crystals. This one should be around 100mm on the base and rise up about 75mm in height, with many crystals and detailed groundwork.

Rise of the Draconids – Draconid Starter Set Unlocked

AntiMatter Games has made it through their Draconids Start Set stretch goal for Rise of the Draconids on Kickstarter. Next to be unlocked is Lithiana.

Lithiana

Source

From the campaign:

The stretch goals keep moving along for the Rise of the Draconids Kickstarter. We have unlocked the Draconid Cannon Master and the Deluxe Stater Set for the Draconid Legion now, so both can be added to pledges. The next reward up will be the sorceress of the Dark Mariners, Lithiana – Queen of the Deep.

Lithiana is a powerful Ethermancer who has delved into the secrets of the ethereal abyss and is able to summon beings from the void to serve her. The Queen of the Deep has trading much of her own soul in the process and ruthlessly slays any who oppose her.

Lithiana glides across the battlefield using a biomech levitation device, battling enemy forces with a deadly plasma blade. She also had the capability to lead and and control Biomech Constructs with the control device on her hand, making her doubly effective at controlling allied beings (ethereals and biomechs). Lithiana can be used on both ShadowSea and DeepWars.

Templar Sentinel added to rewards for Rise of the Draconids

AntiMatter Games goes all “holy order” on you with their Templar Sentinel added to their Rise of the Draconids Kickstarter campaign.

Templar Sentinel

Source

From the campaign:

This sculpt has been waiting for a base to be made but it will be finished soon. It is now added as a reward for $8 or 1 point. The figure is meant for DeepWars but can also be used in ShadowSea. Sentinels are very effective at banishing ethereals, casting protection spells and disrupting constructs, transfixing them.

Rise of the Draconids – New Stretch Goals and Rewards

AntiMatter Games has added new stretch goals and rewards over on their Rise of the Draconids Kickstarter campaign. There’s still 21 days left in the campaign.

Draconids

Source

From the campaign:

For the “Rise of the Draconids” Kickstarter, the next stretch goal is the Draconid Cannon Master along with his assistant sidekick. The cannon is a devastating weapon that fires explosive balls filled with crystal shards.

Some rewards have been added as well, from the classic line of Dragonblood miniatures. These include Templars and a Dragon Hunter for the Fortune Hunters, an Outlaw Queen for the Axibalan Empire and two witches for the Order of Yosoth. All of these minis will get new game cards for ShadowSea.

Rise of the Draconids up on Kickstarter

AntiMatter Games has launched a Kickstarter for some new Deep Wars/Shadowsea minis. They’ve made their goal, so it’s stretch goals for the next 32 days.

Rise of the Draconids

Source

From the campaign:

This Kickstarter will help us produce new miniatures for the Draconid Legion, the force of lizardmen, dragon-men, and other scaly beings for our tabletop miniatures game ShadowSea, Conquest of the Underground World. These will be cast in high-quality white metal, with larger models hand-cast in resin. In addition, we will produce a printed painting guide that helps show techniques for painting these scaly monsters by Eric Louchard

Final days for AntiMatter Games ShadowSea Mini-Kicker

AntiMatter Games only has a few days left on their ShadowSea Mini-Kickstarter campaign. They’re a little over 65% funded. Will you be helping them make it to their goal?

Stretch Goals

Source

From them to you:

We are nearing the end of the short Kickstarter project for ShadowSea, a “mini-kicker” that was set for only a couple of weeks. The project is close to funding but we need a few more backers to help produce the new Sunless Kingdom starter set, cast the amazon warrior Chimalma and the devious insectoid Clal-Chk adventurer, and finally, produce a new version of the Stygian Depths supplement along with two new snakemen miniatures. Hopefully we can fund the project and get to the stretch goals in the next few days, producing the Draconid Legion starter set and maybe even unlocking Kalath the Reaver, a draconid lord riding an armored triceratops.

AntiMatter Games posts ShadowSea Mini-Kicker stretch goals

AntiMatter Games has posted up some stretch goals for their mini-kicker Kickstarter project they’re running. They’re over 50% of the way to their goal.

Source

From them to you:

The mini-kicker is making progress so far and we have added some additional goals for reaching 100 backers and then at 15K and 25K. Reaching those nets extra bonus miniatures.

There are also some new studio paint jobs of DeepWars miniatures on the Facebook page. The Cephalid Biomancer can be used in both DeepWars underwater and ShadowSea on land, making it a useful member of a warband.

AntiMatter Games launches ShadowSea Mini-Kickstarter

AntiMatter Games has launched a new ShadowSea mini-Kickstarter campaign to expand their line.

ShadowSea

Source

From the campaign:

AntiMatter Games successfully launched ShadowSea this month, a massive undertaking since we had purchased the entire Dragonblood miniatures line midway during the Kickstarter and included that line in the rewards. The Dragonblood purchase, combined with the new sets in the project, allowed AntiMatter Games to create miniatures for all ShadowSea forces, but some holes in the line still remain. While all forces now have miniatures, some forces need a few more miniatures to make Warband Starter Sets and to add specialized troops.

From the post:

The game cards for the original Dragonblood miniatures that we incorporated into the ShadowSea line are now done. We had to finish editing the roster and point values but finally finished that part and could do the cards. Some never had real concept art so they use the painted figures.

ShadowSea Launch & Pledge Manager

AntiMatter Games will be sending out their ShadowSea Kickstarter stuff next month. They’ve also got another Pledge Manager up for those that want to get in on it.

Source

From the post:

The ShadowSea Kickstarter has progressed well and we are in the last stages of production, gearing up for shipments in late April. We have a pledge manager system in place using a paypal PitchIn tool for those who want add any more items to their existing pledge, or for those that still want to get in on the game at the last minute. One other benefit of adding to a pledge or joining is that there are two final miniatures for the Sunless Kingdom Deluxe Starter Set that are stretch goals, the Cochi Dark-Eye and the foul Cave troll. Enos Kline is working on those right now and I hope to be able to ship them as part of the Kickstarter rewards. The big troll might be a couple of weeks later since it is going to be in resin, but it could be shipped separately.

Dagathonan Man-Slayer Sculpting Done

AntiMatter Games is showing off the finished sculpt for their Dagothan Man-Slayer mini for DeepWars/ShadowSea.

Source

From the preview:

We have put up a few photos of the Dagathonan Man-Slayer sculpt now on Facebook. It is on its way to us for casting and will finish up the figures in the ShadowSea Deluxe Starter for Dark Mariners force from out Kickstarter. We have a couple more figures to complete and then all of the Kickstarted models will be done.

This figure will also work in DeepWars since the Dagathonans are all amphibious. We have been working to make sure the new ShadowSea rules are fully compatible with DeepWars so people can use models across both games.

AntiMatter Games having a Winter Sale

AntiMatter Games is having a Winter Sale over in their webshop. Go get yourself some minis for cheaper than usual.

Source

From the sales announcement:

It is now the dead of Winter, ice covering the land under the polar vortex as the bitter cold forces people back into their caves. To celebrate staying warm and playing a few games, we are having a Winter Sale of 20% off for all orders, even for the smallest of items. This discount can be applied to an order in the shopping cart by entering the coupon code “amg” and hitting the “update” button. ShadowSea Kickstarter Post-funding Pledges being taken now

AntiMatter Games might be done with their successful Kickstarter, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to end. Anyone that missed out can still join in (though without all of the goodies of the Kickstarter) via their post-funding pledges on the AntiMatter Games website.

Source

From the update:

The ShadowSea kickstarter was a success, and with the final burst at the end we unlocked a couple more miniatures and the bonus stretch goals. For those who want add any more items to their existing pledge, please visit our Mini-pledge manager page, running until early December. Here, anything added via Paypal with the Pitch-in button will go towards unlocking miniatures we missed during the Kickstarter.

If anything new is unlocked, it can be added to the pledge also. New backers can join in here as well, although they get fewer bonus points than the original backers did. The free points from the 25K stretch level are also not applied for any pledge modifications or new backers as those were just for the original Kickstarter run. So far, Jujazca the Wise has been unlocked and progress has been made towards the Gark Gutripper.

One week left for ShadowSea on Kickstarter, previews Kalath WIP

AntiMatter Games has just a week left for their ShadowSea campaign on Kickstarter. They’ve made it just over their goal, so it’s looking to see how many stretch goals they can go through. They’ve also got a WIP up of the new Kalath model they’re working on.

Source

From the update:

Pose modified to fit on a base that could work in the game better, head down to allow room for rider. Much more detail to horns and skin. Needs a lot of work though. The entire body will be re-skinned, with all new armor and new rider. The only thing that will not be modified much is the stone head.

AntiMatter Games previews new sculpts for ShadowSea Kickstarter

AntiMatter Games is showing off some more WIP sculpts as part of their ShadowSea Kickstarter campaign.

Source

From the update:

We have some new sculpts coming in for the ShadowSea Kickstarter, including the Templar Demon Slayer for the Fortune Hunter force. The newest update also has some new studio paintjobs on DeepWars miniatures.

AntiMatter Games previews more models for ShadowSea Kickstarter

AntiMatter Games continues on with their ShadowSea Kickstarter campaign. They’re showing off some more painted miniatures and WIP models over there you should go check out.

Source

From the update:

We’re about a third of the way through the ShadowSea – Conquest of the Underlands kickstarter and making good progress. We have had a few updates, showing new sculpting and some new studio paintwork. We’re close to being funded and just need a few more backers to join in.

ShadowSea is a miniatures skirmish game in a lost underground world. The game is based on the acclaimed Song of Blades ruleset, so it is highly customizable, even allowing players to make their own stats for figures they already have in their collection. ShadowSea works as the land-based companion to DeepWars, so many of the miniatures can operate seamlessly between the two games to allow for complex campaigns across land and below the sea

AntiMatter Games adds battle mats and other add-ons to ShadowSea Kickstarter

AntiMatter Games has added some goodies to their ShadowSea Kickstarter campaign. They’ve got battle mats and swim bases. Plus they’ve posted some WIP sculpts.

Source

From the update:

Richard Hale from Battleboards.UK has come up with a more affordable way to make the fabric maps with rubber backing, so we will work with him and do a short run for the Kickstarter, to “test the waters” as it were. If this is a popular item, we may make more types of them. The rewards will be $56 + $10 international shipping. These are really big and fairly heavy and must be shipped in a mailing tube, separately from any other items in a box, hence the additional shipping factored in.

AntiMatter Games launches ShadowSea – Conquest of the Underlands Kickstarter

AntiMatter Games has launched their ShadowSea – Conquest of the Underlands Kickstarter campaign.
Grab your diving bell and go check it out.

Source

From the campaign:

ShadowSea is a game of fast-paced miniatures combat in a lost underground world using 28mm scale figures, powered by the renowned Song of Blades ruleset from Ganesha Games and set in the same world as our game DeepWars. Five competing forces search for ancient artifacts and golden treasures through crumbling ruins, trap-filled catacombs and underwater citadels. ShadowSea has many features that make it a flexible gaming system that is perfect for beginners but deep enough for experienced gamers. The goal of this project is to make the second edition version of ShadowSea, with new artwork, rules and complete starter sets of miniatures. We are already hard at work on the miniatures, with some already completed.

We have an experienced group of sculptors working on the range, including Patrick Keith, Gautier Giroud, Brother Vinni, Bob Olley, Bobby Jackson, E. Louchard, Sandra Garrity and Paolo Fabiani. Below are some of the sculpts in progress by Bob Olley and Paolo Fabiani for the Dark Mariners.

AntiMatter Games previews Draconid Sea Demon Warrior WIP

AntiMatter Games has some WIP green photos up for their Draconid Sea Demon Warrior for DeepWars/ShadowSea.

From the preview:

Here is the scuplt by Sandra Garrity. The base is meant to be an erupting underwater volcano, which end up mostly being bubbles. The draconids are immune to the heat and like to bathe in the superheated water.

AntiMatter Games posts about ShadowSea Kickstarter relaunch

AntiMatter Games is prepping for a relaunch of ShadowSea over on Kickstarter.

From the announcement:

What seems to work best is to keep the forces small and focused like in DeepWars, with lots of character for each troop type. We will stick to the starter sets with 5 models per box but we will try to have all of them metal this time. The initial forces will be Fortune Hunters and Dark Mariners, with the Axibalan empire coming next as a stretch goal, then Draconid Legion. Other mercenary forces will be unlocked after that along with the supplements for different regions of the Underlands. The starting date would be after the DeepWars rewards all ship, so probably late August.

ShadowSea Stretch Push on Kickstarter

ShadowSea only has 30 hours to go on their Kickstarter campaign with about 1/3 of their goal to go. Can they make it? They’re posting up some info to help.

From the campaign:

We are 2/3 of the way there to get ShadowSea funded. There is still a chance it can happen, so those that want to see it go through, tell some friends. Some stretch goals got added finally, since all for the other ones already got thrown in
to the main funding goal. These have always been on our list of figures to get done so we are crossing out fingers that the project gets funded enough to finally make them.

Last Days for ShadowSea Kickstarter

AntiMatter Games is in their final days for their ShadowSea Kickstarter. If you want in, now’s the time.

From the campaign:

There are only a couple of days left for the ShadowSea Kickstarter and we are a little bit past the half-way mark for funding. The project will go into hibernation for a while if not funded, so if people want to see tech-enhanced pirates battling eldritch horrors, or amazonian sorceresses battling tentacle-covered biomechs, this is time to help the game come to life.
