It’s not just any Thursday. It’s also the anniversary of my first post on TGN. 6 years ago, I told you about the new plastic Warp Wolf kit coming from Privateer Press. That was 26,284 posts ago. Oh, how times change. What will the future hold? It’s hard to say. But I do have shades.
I also have a couple stories to make sure your gaming table looks better than it did back in 2011.
In the Terrain Corner today we have: Roman Buildings Bundles Available From Warlord Games, Heroic Maps – Storeys: Scrivener Street, New Fence Pieces Available From Acheson Creations, Gunfighter’s Ball Wild West Mat Stretch Goal Added To Kickstarter, and New Underhive game mat release from Deep-Cut Studio.
It’s Monday morning here (though I know this is going to be posted in the afternoon). I’m trying to type up as much of my posts today before the storm gets really bad, just in case power and/or internet goes out. Also, working from home since they closed the office. But neither rain nor sleet nor snow nor slush shall keep me from getting you those gaming news stories. At the moment, it’s making sure your gaming tables look as good as possible.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Test of Honour Lantern & Katana Ruler Set, Heroic Maps – Modular Kit: Mossy Dungeon Corridors Now Available, Acheson Creations to Launch Kongo-Afrika Kickstarter, Terminus Segments Industrial Set Available From Micro Art Studio, and The Valley:Fantasy Gaming Mat Available from Pwork Wargames.
Warlord Games is bringing a new faction, as well as some new cavalry options to Test of Honour, their new far-Eastern miniatures skirmish game. The new faction is Ch?bei’s Renegades. They’re based on a real figure from Feudal Japan. Ch?bei is seen as a Robin Hood type of character, who would protect the peasants from bandits and wandering samurai who might wish to do them harm. The other new unit is the Daimy?’s Retinue, which gives new options for cavalry in the game. Rounding things off, to help keep everything straight, there’s new sets of tokens, as well as some scenery pieces.
And we’re back once more in the office. The start of the work week is upon us. It feels like it’ll be an eternity until next weekend, but we’ll make it there. I hope your weekend was good. I spent all day Saturday playing games with my friend, as I mentioned. There was Ascension, Munchkin, Set, and Settlers of Catan. Sunday was spent playing Final Fantasy XII. No, not the remastered version that just came out for PS4, but my copy for my PS2. I don’t have a PS4. 😛
Anyway, it’s time once again to make your gaming tables look as good as possible.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Pickett-Hamilton Disappearing Pillbox, New Crystalline Outcrops, New Ghar Terrain From Warlord Games, TerraScapes: Caves & Grottos Up On Kickstarter, New 6mm Buildings Available From Brigade Models, and Frosty Plain Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
How’s yours going? Mine’s… being a Monday.
But, as usual, we’ll make it through. And getting our gaming tables looking good is going to help.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Terrain Available For Beyond the Gates of Antares, Final Week For Eslo Terrain Kickstarter, Brigade Models release 2mm Scale Dockyard Buildings, and Operation Delta Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
We’re continuing our trek through the work week. Actually, in a way, for me it’s sort of like a Friday. I say “sort of” because I’m gonna be working from home tomorrow a bit, but I actually have the day off. Don’t worry, though. I’ll still be bringing you some stories. But yeah, gottta get some stuff prepped for the weekend. What am I going to be doing? Well, going to a binge watching party for the new season of MST3K that’s coming out.
But that’s for later. As for now, it’s time to make sure your gaming tables look as good as possible.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New To Kill A King Terrain From Sarissa Precision, New Orc Junk City Fuel and Ammo Piles From Kromlech, New Mousepad Material Mats Available From Pwork Wargame, New Wood Coffin Set Available From Tabletop-Art, New Brick Walls Sets Available From Micro Art Studio, Fantasy Arc releases Gwenilth: Lost City of the Elves terrain, West Land Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, and Textured Foam Scenery available from Firedragon Games.
Hello again, work week. I guess it’s nice to see you again. It’s looking like Winter, who has been on vacation for most of… well… winter, is making a run at it here just as we’re a week away from Spring officially starting. Better late than never? *shrugs lots*
Anyway, as is tradition, we’ve got our bit to make sure your gaming tables look as good as possible.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Samurai Terrain from Sarissa, New 15mm Arabian Buildings From Najewitz Modellbau, and Operation Delta Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
We’re once again at the beginning of the week. It’s ok, though, at least for me, because I have cheesecake with raspberry-lime sauce (I did say I was going to make some over the weekend). That should help tide us over to next weekend, where gaming will be had (hopefully). And if there’s going to be gaming, there should be good-looking gaming tables. So let’s help with that.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Algoryn Orbital Transmat from Sarissa precision, New wave of 15mm terrains from Terrains4Games, Brigade Models Release 2mm Roman Fort, and Walking Dead miniature game mat release from Deep-Cut Studio.
Zombies are running amok in the streets. Resources are becoming more and more scarce as time goes on. The city has lots of opportunities to find what you might need, but there’s also lots of opportunities to run into other scavengers as well as those aforementioned zombies. Only by joining together will you be able to survive. That’s the story behind Project Z, and Warlord Games is taking pre-orders for a new limited Lock N Load version with special terrain.
So, not tabletop gaming related, but as a Chicago native, waking up this morning to hear the Cubs won the World Series was pretty awesome, even though I’ve not followed baseball for quite a long time.
Too bad we don’t have MLB Showdown or that MLB Clix game around anymore.
Anyway, that aside, let’s talk about making sure your gaming tabletop looks as good as possible.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: 15% Off All Sarissa Single Terrain Pieces At Warlord Games, New Releases From ESLO: 3D Game Elements for Boardgames, Dicey Ventures Running Earth Brewery Kickstarter, New Snowfields Dropfleet Commander Game Mat from Deep-Cut Studio, and Tabletop World Posts Watermill Sneak Peek.
We’ve made it to Thursday, everyone.
Is it just me or has the week sort of slowed to a halt? I think it’s because next week’s going to be a short one. As such, we have to make this week longer to compensate. Otherwise, space-time and all that gets messed up. Thankfully, Powerhouse is seeing me through the day. Also, I’m looking forward to playing some games tomorrow night. So that’s something to look forward to. In the meantime, let’s make sure your gaming tables look as good as possible.
Today in our Terrain Corner we have: Warlord Games Taking Pre-orders For Project Z Terrain, Deep-Cut Studio releases nature tiles on mousepad material, New 28mm Shopping Mall from Sally 4th Coming Soon, New Armorcast Ruined Highway Overpass Coulmns, and Urban Sector: Pwork Wargames science fiction gaming mat Now Available.

You know that lately we’ve been starting to try and group various like-type stories together. We’ve got our Podcast Post we make on Tuesdays and our Review Roundup on Saturdays. Well, we’ve looked it over and decided that Terrain would be a good story type to bundle all together in one place as well. This is the first of our Terrain Corner spots, where we’ll be bringing you the latest in products to make your gaming table look the best it can.

Friday has once again graced us with its presence. We may be battered and bruised from the work week, but the end is here and your reward is a couple days to do whatever you want (well, not whatever, but you know what I mean). With any luck, your weekend plans include gaming. I’m hoping to throw down with some board games tomorrow night. Should be a good time.
