CMON’s got a whole bunch of new releases available for you today. There’s 5 different titles, from dungeon crawlers, to martial arts action, to an expansion for a hugely popular title, to even more. If you’ve been wanting to get a hold of Massive Darkness, Dojo Kun, Gateway: Uprising, Meeple War, or the Fifth Ingredient expansion for Potion Explosion, now is your opportunity.
It’s Saturdaaaaaaaaaaay! Woooooooo!
Due to the rain, my initial plans for the day fell through. But I’m hoping to rebound and maybe hang out with some people here and just chill. Yes, just me, them, and a whole pan of homemade banana pudding cheesecake…
But at the moment, I know what you all really want are the day’s reviews.
Today we have: Ethnos, Founders of Gloomhaven, Macroscope, Dragonstone Mine, Sheep & Thief, Gyrating Hamsters, Pests, Potion Explosion iOS, Salem, Exit: The Game, Lorenzo il Magnifico, Covil, Meduris, Saltlands, The Flow of History, Sagrada, The Red Dragon Inn: Battle for Greyport, and Ulock!.
I know. I know. This was supposed to go up yesterday.
Well, WordPress has been flaky lately and it missed its posting window. Hence why it’s going up now with a reworded opening talking about it not being posted on Saturday instead of saying, “I’m going to the LGS and gonna pick me up a Minx for Guild Ball!”
But anyway, without any further delay, today we have: Great Western Trail, Click Click Boom, Radiant, Potion Explosion: The Fifth Element expansion, Rone: Races of New Earth, Legendary Showdown, Pocket Madness, Quadropolis, Rocky Road a la Mode, Race for the Galaxy iOS, Warhammer 40k: 8th Edition, Warhammer 40k: Dark Imperium, Port Royal, Flying Kiwis, and Magic Maze.
It’s Saturday, the day that’s full of possibilities (Ok, so every day is full of possibilities, but it just feels moreso on Saturday to me). With any luck, your day is full of gaming.
But at the moment, I know you’re all interested in what sort of reviews we’ve got for you. Well, I won’t make you wait any longer (Saturday won’t go on forever, after all).
Today we have: Dice of Crowns, Pathfinder Adventure Card Game: Mummy’s Mask, The Undercity: Black River Irregulars Expansion, Legendary: Deadpool Expansion, Firefly: Crime and Punishment Expansion, Harry Potter Hogwarts Battle, Tokaido App, Gloomhaven, Potion Explosion App, Planetarium, V-Commandos, Maximum Apocalypse, Jump Drive, The Colonists, and Stinker.
It’s time once more for a Review Roundup. Why? Because it’s Saturday! Woo!
As you read this, I’m hanging out with some friends, playing games. Took over a group of favorites, and hopefully will get me a new Guild Ball opponent, too. I also baked brownies, because I can’t go to a friend’s place empty-handed. Hopefully you’re doing something similar, be it at a friend’s place, your garage, or your LGS.
But anyway, I know you’re really here for those reviews.
Today we have: Legends Untold, Mage Wars Academy: Warlock & Priestess Expansions Review, Aggressor: Recon, Shadows of Brimstone, Tambuzi, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle, Kill Doctor Lucky: Deluxe 19.5th Anniversary Edition, Tanks: Panther vs Sherman, Junk Art, Roll Player, and Potion Explosion.
So, since I spend all my regular workdays gaming, I will often step away from it on my time off. You know, you don’t want to get burned out on a thing. However, last weekend and this, I’ve been all-out gaming just about every chance I can! Last week was game day at the Milton, GA. library. Yesterday a friend came over for some Guild Ball. Today I’m headed to another friend’s (and co-worker) house for more gaming, along with Italian beef and fresh-baked cookies.
So that’s what I’m doing. How about you (besides reading this article)?
Speaking of this article, this week we have: Deadzone 2nd Edition, Manhattan Project: Chain Reaction, Mission to Mars, Tumult Royale, Expo 1906, The Cohort, MODX, The Siblings Trouble, Super Motherload, 13 Days: The Cuban Missile Crisis, Fury Of Dracula, Dead of Winter, Potion Explosion, Dastardly Dirigibles, Apollo XIII, Snow Tails, Kune v Lakia, Deathbot Derby, Game of Train, and Ice Cool.
Ah, Saturday. What cannot be accomplished on a day such as this?
… except maybe typing correctly, since the first time through writing that I had 3 typos. *double-checks that they’re all fixed* … Ok, I think I got ’em.
I’m big on tradition, and the tradition for Saturday is to post a Review Roundup. So let’s get to it.
Today we have: Destroy BCN, Waggle Dance, Amasser Dragons, Cthulhu Realms iOS, Builders of Blankenburg, Imps Devilish Duels, Crisis, Ra, Piratoons, Star Wars: Empire Vs Rebellion, The Chicago Way, GemPacked, Animals On Board, Cry Havoc, Potion Explosion, and Klask.
Well, yesterday was quite a whirlwind of activity. Nothing but nonstop activity and excitement here at the 2nd day of the CMON Expo. There’s lots to do and see, so let’s show some of it off.
CoolMiniOrNot has announced that they will be bringing Horrible Games’ Potion Explosion to an English-speaking audience. If you’re a fan of games like Candy Crush and Bejeweled, you’ll probably want to check this one out (it also seems to have something of a Connect Four vibe, which I’m kind of digging on).
