Onyx Path Publishing

Onyx Path Publishing is looking to bring you the new edition of Hunter: The Vigil. The world is filled with weird, supernatural, and most importantly, dangerous things. You're a Hunter. You have the ability to spot these other-worldly occurrences and creatures and you've made it your goal to hunt them down and make sure humanity is safe. This new edition is up on Kickstarter now.

Onyx Path Publishing is running a Kickstarter campaign for the next in their Chronicles of Darkness campaign book. This time around, it's Mummy: The Curse. Players take on the role of people who died, but now they've started to get better. Back from the dead, they walk among the living once more.

A GM can never have enough resources at their disposal. That is my honest opinion. Even if they don't use things verbatim, they can take those offerings and adapt them to their own uses. That's where having a new monster book comes in, and that's what you're getting with Scarred Lands: Creature Collection, a book ~140 new monsters that you can throw at your 5th Edition adventuring group. The book is up on Kickstarter now.

It's always nice when we can work together. People's power is greater than the sum of their parts, and Onyx Path Publishing and Handiwork Games are teaming up to bring you the Scarred Lands Creature Collection for 5th Edition. So, the new book will be written, have its art direction done by, and laid out by Handiwork Games.

Chicago by Night. This one I know. You go to Portillo's. You hit up Navy Pier. You maybe check out the Miracle Mile. The Planetarium and Shed Aquarium and Museum of Science and Industry will be closed, but being vampires, I'm sure you can find a way in. Plus, you avoid the crowds. So that's good.

Man... now I really want Portillo's...

Anyway, Chicago by Night, a sourcebook for Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition is up on Kickstarter now.

The Year of New Editions puts down another tally mark on its ledger with Scion 2nd edition. The RPG of gods-among-us is up on Kickstarter and looking for some funding love. And it seems as though they've found it, as they're already well over their funding goal.
What would become of our beloved pets if we were to all suddenly disappear? Say the apocalypse comes and wipes out mankind, but all of our pets are left unscathed? Over time, what might become of them? Well, Pugmire has a certain take on that. What if all our puppies became intelligent and looked to create new societies, using long-lost bits of human knowledge in order to do so? Well, you can find out in the game, which is up now on Kickstarter.
Well, if there was any concern about Onyx Path Publishing coming out with more World of Darkness books since White Wolf was purchased, this should answer that question. Onyx Path has launched a Kickstarter campaign for the 20th anniversary version of Changeling: The Dreaming. They've already made it over their funding goal, which didn't take long, just like their previous campaigns.
Onyx Path Publishing continues bringing the Werewolf and Vampire books into the present. Their latest item on Kickstarter is the Deluxe Werewolf 20th Anniversary version of the Shattered Dreams book. As with all these most-recent incarnations of the books, they're going all-out with Shattered Dreams. The book will be embossed, have a built-in bookmark, and full-color.
Onyx Path Publishing is running a Kickstarter for their Deluxe V20 Lore of the Clans book. They're going all out for this one. The book will be embossed with an integrated bookmark, in full color, and with a "unique deluxe treatment." The book, part of their 20th Anniversary series, goes into a detailed history of each of the Vampire clans and why they don't always get along so well with one-another.
The campaign is already funded and closing in on being 2x over their goal. They're set to run for another 22 days.

From the campaign:
Onyx Path Publishing has released the 2nd edition of the popular RPG, Werewolf: The Forsaken. Originally released by White Wolf, Onyx Path picks up where the story left off. The idigam, spirits from beyond prehistory, are loose, and it's up to you and your pack to stop them.
So put down that milkbone and get hunting!

From the announcement:
Onyx Path Publishing is running a Kickstarter campaign for a deluxe edition of the 20th anniversary Vampire RPG book.
They're more than 3x funded, so check out the stretch goals and extras.

From the campaign:

What You'll Find Inside:

• Thirteen vampire clans, and nineteen bloodlines.
• All three castes of the dying Salubri: the Warriors, the Watchers, and the Healers.
• Bloodlines from every edition of Vampire, and from all over the known world.
• A new approach to Tzimisce Koldunic Sorcery.
• An "apocrypha of the clans" featuring fiction, lore, Roads, and alternative castes within the clans of Caine.
• A complete game in one book, which does not require Vampire 20th Anniversary Edition.
• New full color original art by Mark Kelly, Kieran Yanner, Brian Syme, Andrew Trabbold, and other fantastic artists, as well as a handful of classic B&W pieces carefully chosen from the earlier editions.

Onyx Path Publishing has another 20th anniversary World of Darkness book up on Kickstarter. This time it's Book of the Wyrm.

Book of the Wyrm

From the campaign:

The World of Darkness is in a downward spiral.

Ecological change is killing off entire species. Wars and atrocities kill of thousands of people every day. Celebrities use their media presence to abuse and violate people who don't feel safe to come forward for decades afterwards. Corporations pay their employees so little that people with jobs need government assistance just to have enough money to stay alive. In the World of Darkness, all of this feeds the Wyrm.

The Onyx Path has a Kickstarter campaign running for Mage: The Ascension 20th anniversary edition. They're closing in on being 5x funded.

From the campaign:

Twenty years ago, a game came along that changed gaming. It was big and epic and confusing as hell. It dared folks to think outside the box – to not simply throw fireballs but to really think about how and why we do the things we do. Mage challenged people to make a difference in their world. And now, more than ever, that challenge stands.

Against the epic tapestry of an Ascension War, Mage: The Ascension, then and now, features architects of reality locked in a deadly fight to see whose future will prevail.

But within that sometimes cosmic scope, Mage asks an intimate question: If you had the power of a god, what would you do with it… and what would IT do with YOU?

Onyx Path Publishing is looking to fund a deluxe edition of their Anarchs Unbound book over on Kickstarter.

From the campaign:

Anarchs Unbound takes the bomb-tossing, rabble-rousing vampire revolutionaries of the Anarch Movement and updates them as one of the most energetic and fast-growing sects, gaining ground as they use technologies and mortal agents to advance their agendas in the modern nights. With the Movement revitalized, the time is right to tell the stories of the Anarchs as they topple the old regimes and seize praxis with a promise of egalitarian rule and an end to the oppression of centuries best forgotten.

Onyx Path Publishing is running a Kickstarter campaign for Demon: The Descent Prestige Edition RPG book. They've made it well over their funding goal already. So it's stretch goals for the next 28 days.

From the campaign:

This Demon: The Descent Kickstarter is designed to enable us to create a prestige hardcover edition designed to match the look and feel of our other New World of Darkness core rulebooks such as Vampire: The Requiem, Changeling: The Lost, or Mummy: The Curse.

We want to create an 8.5" x 11" hard cover with a beautifully designed, symbolic cover image printed on a metallic under layer, and featuring an emboss/deboss of the logo and mirror cracks. We estimate the book to be about 400 pages, with a two-color interior and endpapers on high quality paper stock featuring all new artwork. We're going to publish this as a PDF and as a Print on Demand physical book regardless of how this Kickstarter turns out, but we know that a fair percentage of our community would like to set this newest nWoD game on their shelves with the previous game lines.

Scarred Lands is now the property of Onyx Path Publishing and Nocturnal Media.

From the announcement:

Nocturnal Media and Onyx Path Publishing are proud to announce that they have jointly purchased the rights to the Scarred Lands fantasy setting.

Rich Thomas, CEO and Creative Director at Onyx Path Publishing: “Scarred Lands was one of my favorite settings to world-build during my days at White Wolf, along with Scion and Trinity, and I’m just thrilled that Onyx Path, teamed up with my good friend Stewart Wieck’s company Nocturnal Media, has a chance to revisit and revitalize this epic fantasy world that’s been warped and twisted by the wars of gods and titans.”
