Okumarts Games

As-expected, the week is just shooting by. Being super-busy will do that to you. I've got a lot more to do, so I'd better nosh on some bite-sized gaming stories.

Today on the platter we have: Dragons of the Red Moon Up On Kickstarter, New Pulp Inc Paper Miniatures Available From Okumarts Games, New 15mm Baggage Available From Baueda, MidKnight Heroes Running Super Chibi Villains Kickstarter, Kraken Dice Releasing Peach Bellini Taffy Dice Set Tomorrow, and King Games running Dunkledorf Fantasy Townsfolk Miniatures Kickstarter.

Hello, Friday, my old friend.
This has been the first full-week of the year, methinks. Like, ok, I know that we're already into February, but I think this might be the only week where I've been up and into the office each day. Just been that type of year so far, I suppose. What might help is bulking up on some bite-sized gaming stories.

Today on the platter we have: The Army Painter Announces New Zombicide: Green Horde Paint Sets, Dice Coins Up On Kickstarter, Muddleflog Paper Miniatures Are Now Available, and New Oval Ancient Machinery Bases Available From Tabletop-Art.

Many of us wish that we were superheroes. Unfortunately, spider bites, gamma radiation, and cell mutations don't really work that way. But we can still live vicariously through our RPGs, such as Save the Day. If you've wanted a bit more nitty-gritty with your comic action, you're in luck. The new Advanced Rulebook is now available.
Reasons why today's pretty awesome:
1) It's Friday
2) It's going to be a 3-day weekend
3) We've got our chili and dessert cook-off today
I mean... how does it really get much better than that? Well, I guess I could be gaming afterward. But I don't have any lined up for the evening.
But in the meantime, let's nosh on some bite-sized gaming stories.

Today on the platter we have: New Sci-Fi Mini Available From Brother Vini, Darkfast Classic Fantasy Paper Miniatures Returns, Weekend Sale at Kromlech, and New Grim Reaper Minis Available From Tabletop-Art.

Fridays are generally pretty cool. But this is the last Friday before Gen Con. As I've been talking with a few people today, when they say, "are you ready for Gen Con?" my answer is, "you're never 100% ready for Gen Con. You're just 'as ready as you are when Gen Con runs into you'." I don't know about you, but I've gotta do a ton of stuff in the next couple days before I leave next week. It's going to be a busy weekend. And that means I should fill up on some bite-sized gaming stories so I can keep my energy up.

Today we have: New Dvergr Commando Medic Available From Kromlech, Save the Day: Local Heroes Paper Minis Now Available, and HDF Base Weekend Special From Kromlech.

We're chugging along, everyone. Wednesday is upon us. The weekend is coming ever-closer.
Has the week gone by quickly for everyone else? It's been a fast start for me. And with several new proofing projects in the pipe, I'm certainly going to be busy the rest of the week. But hey, busy means the time goes by quickly. But I'll need to keep up my strength. For that, let's nosh on some bite-sized gaming stories.

Today on the platter we have: Ratgard: LeaderRatss Battle Tank and Ratgard AFV Track Guard Now Available, New releases from Terrible Kids Stuff - August 2017, Star Sailors Set One: Magical Girls Available From Okumarts Games, Halfling Skeleton Armies Now on Kickstarter, Antenociti's Workshop Running US-IMF : 28mm & 15mm Sci-fi Armour Kickstarter, U.S.O.R. Online RPG System Now Running, Frostgrave Warband Manager Online Tool Now Available, and iToysoldiers is now +1: Release 5.0 is live.

Happy Thanksgiving Eve!
Or, for those of you not in the US. Happy Wednesday!
As for me, I'm going to be busy when I get home. I need to bake another pumpkin pie, put turkey 1 into the brine bucket, speed-thaw turkey 2 (place in cold, running water for a couple hours), and make whipped cream for the pies (cream, sugar, and spices). Gonna be very busy, but should be fun. But to have enough energy for that, I need to nosh on some bite-sized gaming stories.

Today we have: New Infinity Dice Sets From Corvus Belli, New Bases Available From Micro Art Studio, BattleScribe 2.0 Released, Dungeonland PnP is now available and Kickstarter Stretch Goals are revealed, New Alien Heads From Ramshackle Games, Okumarts Games team up with GG Studios, New Releases Available From Dark Sword Miniatures, Divine Art Playing Cards up On Kickstarter, Comrades in Battle Stretch Goal Levels Lowered, Head set Multi Pack From Ramshackle Games, NPC For Hire Game Aid On Kickstarter, New Temple of Isis Bases From Tabletop-Art, Fusion Bases by Wamp Up On Kickstarter, Highway System Coming to Kickstarter, New Female Greatcoat Troops Available From Victoria Miniatures, and New Hordes Token Sets Available From Advanced Deployment.

The work week is drawing to a close.
... ... ... Wooo!
Time to kick back, relax, and enjoy some gaming. Tomorrow's the monthly gaming day at my friend's library, where I'll be getting a couple games in. Hopefully you have roughly similar plans. If I'm going to make it through a marathon gaming session, I need to bulk up on some bite-size gaming stories. Good thing that's just what I've got here.

Today on the platter we have: New Cerastus Knight Heads from Forge World, New Statuesque Fine & Pulp Scale Veteran Female Heads Available, New Releases Available From BlackChapel Miniatures, Okumarts Games Releases More Victorian Adventure Paper Minis, and Shieldwolf Miniatures Launches Forest Goblin Multi-Part Plastic Minis Kickstarter.

Superheroes are kind of a big thing these days. With the rise of both Marvel and DC movie series, people are clamoring for others in bright, spandex suits like never before. Many people want to bring that excitement to their tabletop. Okumarts Games lets you do that with their Save the Day super-powered RPG. But superheroes need supervillains. And that's just what you're getting with this pair of releases.
We all know my love of giant robots. One place they tend to show up a lot is in anime. Well, if you'd like to bring your love of giant robots to your gaming table, you might want to check out the Anime Hack supplement that Okumarts Games just put out for The Black Hack RPG system.
We've made it to the halfway mark. Just the rest of today, and then two full days and we'll be back into the sweet embrace of the weekend. How will you be beating the heat? Inside gaming? Outside trying to catch them all? A little of both? Just be sure to hydrate. A group of friends want to wander around downtown Atlanta on Sunday... when it's supposed to get to 99F out. Whoof. Too hot for this arctic ursine.

Anyway, being the middle of the week, it means we need to stock back up on bite-size gaming stories.

Today we have: Team Canada Adventure for Save the Day Super-Powered RPG, Precision Polyhedral Floating Face Dice On Kickstarter, Siren lands in Purgatory, New 28mm 1806 Prussian Hussars, Semi Realistic Portrait Generator for your games, New Numidian Cavalry Available From Victrix, 3rd Annual Great Wargaming Survey Posted, Another World Miniatures Releases Alfred - Steampunk Monkey Assistant, and Baueda Releases new 15mm Sicilian Normans range.

Well, as was expected, Thursday has turned into Friday. The week's still going by quickly (that's NOT a complaint). So it should be almost no time before I'm headed home for a lovely weekend of... I'm not 100% sure what I'll be up to this weekend. Having spent the last two Saturdays driving ~9 hours, if I just was to chill at home, I'd be able to handle that. But that doesn't mean I shouldn't stock up on some bite-size gaming stories in the meantime.

Today we have: Final Minutes for Wander on Kickstarter, FossilPunk Foundry To Launch Sauriana Kickstarter, Pre-orders open for Full Battle Rattle Miniatures modern Canadian Infantry, Organisers Guide to Tanks OPS Kits Posted, Victoria Miniatures Universal Victorian Guard Now Available, Drawlab Running Legendary Dice Throwers Kickstarter, Poorly Dubbed Action Heroes Paper Minis Now Available, Brigade Models Release 6mm Kirin Walker, and New Tokens & Templates for WW2 Gaming from Sally 4th.

Wednesday is once again upon us, dear TGN readers. We've been having a busy week at the office. I'm working on a few review articles that're coming up, and yesterday we shot a new unboxing video.

But that's as may-be. We've also collected various bite-sized stories and present them to you now.

This batch has: Okumarts Games releases Star Sailors for White Star, Two New Cowboys Added to Steam Horses Kickstarter Line Up, New Skirmish Sangin Scenario Free to Download, New Installments of The Fiver from The Meeple Mechanic, The Last Days for The Last Spike on Kickstarter, Heer46 Announces Upcoming Indiegogo Campaign, Space Goblin Campaigner free during June at The Ion Age, New Aegis Suit Satin Varnish from The Army Painter, Celestial Knight by Kabuki Models: WIP, Age of Tyrants website launched, Golem Miniatures Launches Indiegogo Campaign, Pedion Modular Battlefields Kickstarter Going Into Stretch Goals, New Range rulers for WWII armies from Warchimera, New Orc Flying Ace from Kromlech, Manorhouse Workshop Update #29 – Modular Underground Project – First Pieces in Hard Plastic, and Deep-Cut Studio releases new gaming mat for futuristic football.

Welcome to Wednesday you wonderful ... umm... something-gaming-related-that-begins-with-W! The first half of the week is over. It's all downhill from here to a hopefully gaming-filled weekend. I've got my plans set, heading over to a friend's house for his birthday party where there will be plenty of gaming to be had. I don't know of anyone else more into gaming than Joe-Nathan, so it should be a blast.

Anyway, that's as may-be. At the moment, we've once more collected the bite-sized stories together we've found over the past couple days and present them to you now on a silver platter we like to call "Snippets."
