Congratulations! You’ve made it to Saturday! *throws a little party*
Mine’s been busy so far. We’re just a couple weeks out from Gen Con, and that means about a million little things to get done (along with a couple big things) before heading to the show. My “To Do” list is imposing, but with steady work, I’ll chew through it all.

Mars Needs Mechanics, from Nevermore Games, is a new board game looking for funding over on Kickstarter. Go have a look-see.

In Mars Needs Mechanics, players represent elite steam engineers competing for the prestigious appointment of Royal Astronautical Engineer aboard mankind’s first rocket to Mars.

Starting the game with only 30 cogs (currency), players will utilize unique game mechanisms that emphasize timing to collect sets of components and build incredible mechanisms aimed at earning even more cogs. At the end of the competition, the engineer with the most cogs will earn their place as Astronautical Engineer on the crew of the H.M.S. Victoria VII
