I need a hero!
No, really! They’re all gone! Just up and vanished. Now, all the supervillains are free to cause all the chaos and destruction they want. Of course, being villains, they’re not working together, but are competing with one-another to gain control of the galaxy. In Supervillain: The Galaxy is Mine, a new card game that’s up on Kickstarter, you’ll become one of these villains and fight the others for dominance.
It’s almost here, everyone! The weekend will be here before you know it! Along with the gaming, I’m certainly ready for pizza for dinner tonight. The Ramen I’ve been having is getting a bit old on the palate. But in the meantime, I can nosh on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today we have: Syrinscape and Green Ronin Partner For Mutants and Masterminds Soundscapes, 28mm 1939-41 Soviets Kickstarter is live, Mechanical Dice Towers up on Kickstarter, Knuckle Sammich Reaches Funding Goal on Kickstarter, First Busts from project “Monument of Glory-2” now available From Shieldwolf Miniatures, Tanto Cuore International launching June 7th, New Customization Add-On for Polyversal Kickstarter, and Kromlech Weekend Pigment Promo.
Hey there everyone. Welcome to Saturday. Hopefully you’re having a good day. If you missed it, be sure to check out the Age of Sigmar rules that Games Workshop posted.
If you’re in the US and you’re celebrating Independence Day, be sure to be careful with those fireworks.
I’m taking a moment from the cooking that I’m doing. What am I making? Well, I’ve got hamburgers and hot dogs that I’ll have later. I’m going to make some crawfish gumbo. On the sweet side of things, I’m making cheesecake with strawberry glaze and then chip’n’mint cookies.
But that’s as may be. At the moment, we’ve got our Review Roundup.
This weeks reviews/previews include: Unleashed RPG, Spyfall, Cockroach Poker Royal, Specter Ops, Ember: Shadow of the Demon, Star Realms: Crisis Expansion, Tuscany, Patrol Angis, Don’t Be That Guy, and Swords and Bagpipes.
We all endure setbacks in our life. They’re just a natural thing that we must overcome. We try. We don’t succeed. We try again with new knowledge of the situation. That’s what Moroz Publishing is doing with Swords and Bagpipes on Kickstarter. They had cancelled their first Kickstarter campaign and have since reconfigured and relaunched with a new campaign.
In Swords and Bagpipes, gamers play out the events of the First War of Scottish Independence. You must fight off the invading English, but sometimes you’ll find yourself wanting to ally with them against the other players. It’s a tough decision, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, but don’t get too crazy with the deception, or the whole war could be in jeopardy.
