Fruit Ninja, the popular mobile game about slicing fruit, is getting not one, not two, but three games based on it. Each has its own style and game type, from deck-building, to dice game, to party game. The whole game series is up on Kickstarter now.
“But Polar Bear! Fruit Ninja‘s been out for a while! And it’s a digital game!” I hear you scream at your screens (I also know your browser history. Hey, whatever floats your boat. I don’t judge). Yes, Fruit Ninja is an incredibly popular mobile game where you must cut fruit as it floats across your screen. But it will soon be a set of tabletop games. These three come from a set of 20 that’d been sent in by 50 of the top game designers out there. The series will be coming to Kickstarter soon.

You know, when you think of Vikings, you don’t tend to think of them just sitting around a fireplace, the walls of the room they’re in filled with books. Big, comfy-looking chairs. Sipping tea. One of them has a monocle. Perhaps discussing a bit of poetry.
No. You think of them… well… going wild. And that’s just what they do in Vikings Gone Wild, a new deck-building/resource management board game up on Kickstarter.
What a glorious day. What cannot be achieved on such a day as Saturday?
