So, upsides and downsides. Downside: it's Monday. Upside: it's October. Downside: the weekend is really far away. Upside: I have gaming already lined up for said weekend. Downside: I was reaaally comfy this morning and didn't want to get out of bed. Upside: It's been a pretty decent morning, so far, with some really great e-mails in my inbox on some really cool projects I'm helping out with. Also upside: we've got some terrain articles for you. Also, also upside: After the first "downside/upside," my mental narration turned into Tom Bodett's voice, a-la Good Idea/Bad Idea.

Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Plastic Church Terrain From Warlord Games, Darkburg Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargames, and New Triumphal Arch Available From Tabletop Scenics.

It's another Saturday. Hopefully you've got something fun going on.

Anyway, here's the reviews we found during the week (it was apparently a big week for posting reviews. There's quite a lot to go through).

We've got reviews/previews of: Chaos & Alchemy, Fields of Arle, High Command - Escalating Conflict, Sellswords, War Stories, Trains: Rising Sun, Kalypto, 7 sins, Hitman Holiday, Amber Route, Twisting Catacombs Dungeon Scenery, M4 Sherman from Warlord Games/Italeri, Trikerion: Legends of Illusion, Games Workshop's Wood Elf Treeman, Sisters of the Thorn, Dark Eldar Voidraven Bomber, and the Zen Terrain Fast Food Stall.

Warlord Games has announced their new partnership with Italeri Miniatures. You've seen a few previews already. Here's a bit more about the agreement between them.

From the announcement:

We are thrilled to be able to announce we will be working closely with scale model giants Italeri.

Having grown up with Italeri’s fantastically detailed kits it is with great pride that Warlord Games will be working with the talented team at Italeri to bring many more plastic vehicles and terrain pieces to the wargaming world and further enhance our Bolt Action range.

“We’ve spent many hours over the years building the marvellous kits from Italeri so we’re delighted to now be working with them to bring more plastic vehicles to gamers and collectors around the world” say Warlord Games founders, John Stallard and Paul Sawyer.
Giuliano Malservisi and Gian Piero Parmeggiani, the founders of Italeri say “Italeri is very proud to announce an agreement with Warlord Games, a wargames company that produces an amazing range of historical miniatures, and the right partner to develop a new line of plastic in 1/56 scale”.

The first two 1:56 scale vehicles to be made available in plastic between the two companies will be the classic M4 Sherman medium tank and the deadly Panther Ausf. A, with many more already in the pipeline.
