Icons of the Realms

When I'm playing D&D, I like to have miniatures out on the table that as accurately as possible represent what our party is fighting. That can sometimes get difficult. But thankfully, there's always new figure sets coming out. In this case, it's Volo’s & Mordenkainen’s Foes. Sounds like it should have plenty of evildoers for our party to take on.

Well, it's not a giant robot, but it's close. Longtime readers know how I love miniatures that really stretch the bounds of what "Miniature" really means. That's what we're getting from WizKids in their premium Walking Statue of Waterdeep: The Honorable Knight figure. He's a big 'un.

I like having a diverse set of miniatures out on the table when I'm playing my RPGs. And I like them to be as close to the thing they're representing as possible. So, getting a new set of D&D miniatures from WizKids is always nice. The Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus set is now available. If you're playing the corresponding adventure from WotC, it's perfect. But if you're just looking for some new figures to round out your collection, it's great for that too.

Well, you've seen the announcement about the new book. WizKids is coming in next with figures specifically for it. They've announced a new Icons of the Realms miniatures set, and it's all about Baldur's Gate: Descent Into Avernus. There's even a pimped-out Infernal Machine you can get.

Some of you may have played the Dungeon of the Mad Mage adventure in Dungeons & Dragons. You've headed to Undermountain and headed through the dark passages therein. For those that have, and those that haven't, WizKids is giving you a new way to experience that adventure with the Dungeons of the Mad Mage board game, now available.
