The week rolls on. Don’t worry, people, we’ll get back to the weekend eventually. We’re at the midway point. We can get there if we stock up on some bite-sized gaming stories. Like what? Like these!

Icarus Miniatures has been prepping for this one for a bit, but now they’ve finally launched their The Icarus Project sci-fi skirmish game Kickstarter campaign. The game, set about 700 years in the future, sees small squads of soldiers, called Strike Forces, looking to complete their objectives while making sure the enemy doesn’t fulfill theirs. The first two factions for the game are the Galactic Alliance of Humanity and the alien Nexus.

Friday, glorious Friday. We’ve once more made it to that glorious day. The weekend stretches ahead of us after a workday like an infinite sea of possibility… Ok, maybe I’m getting a bit dramatic. But hopefully your weekend will include some gaming of some sort. Even if not gaming, itself, then putting together some models or painting or some sort of hobby-related activity. I think I’m going to work on a couple more DreamForge kits I’ve had for a bit that really need to put together.
But that’s the future. The present is a set of bite-sized stories we’ve collected together from the past couple days.

My fellow TGN readers, welcome to another Sunday Edition. I hope your Saturday was good and your Sunday is being productive. My D&D group from yesterday came close to TPK at least twice. But that’s what happens when you charge up to 4 Dire Bears and basically give them a turn to munch on your character before the next character from the party is there to help. Oh well. Nobody hit -10, so they were able to keep-on keepin’-on.
As for today, we’ve got another batch of bite-sized stories for you.

Should be a good time, though we’ve got a player moving to Ohio soon. So we’re getting in whatever sessions we can before then.

We’ll have the intrepid Jared Miller there to cover the show, including the $10k Crystal Brush event, as well as just all the cool armies that are always on display.
