It’s Saturday. I’m hanging out in the bear’s den here. LGS has a huge tourney going on, so I’m just gonna hang out here. So it’s me, John Mulaney, and typing up the Review Roundup. Literally Netflix and chill (no innuendo). Everyone needs just some relaxed days occasionally. Anyway, as for the reviews…
Today we have: Deep-Cut Studios Print-O-Mat Service, Monster Lands, Clans of Caledonia, Hoyuk, Renown, AssassinCon, Azul, Charterstone, Great Scott!, Escape from 100 Million B.C., Through the Ages: A New Story of Civilization iOS, Epic Monster Tea Party, Mortals, The Godfather: Corleone’s Empire, and Valley of the Alchemists.
But it’s not just any Saturday.
It’s the Saturday of a 3-day weekend.
Hopefully, you’re out, enjoying yourselves somewhere. Be it gaming, out at the lake, a camping weekend, or whatever. But if you’re stopping by here, I know it’s because you still crave those gaming reviews. So let’s get to them.
Today we have: Knot Dice Deluxe, Arcadia Quest: Pets, Hoyuk, Masmorra: Dungeons of Arcadia, Realm Master, Frostgrave: Ulterior Motives, Anansi and the Book of Stories, 3 to 4 Headed Monster, Histrio, Draconis Invasion, Green Deal, Difference, Terra Mystica iOS, Scum of the Earth, and The Campaign for Kharkov: October 1941.
Mage Company is teaming up with the fellows from Tabletopia to bring you their board games to digital space. Having board games on your tablet is a great way to play while on vacation or during other such trips, since there’s no cards or dice or plastic pieces to accidentally lose under the hotel bed or car seat.
We’ve got another Saturday here on TGN and that means a collection of the review stories we found throughout the week. What are others saying about the games you’re interested in playing? Read on to find out.
This time we’ve got reviews (and a couple previews) for games/models like: Rivet Wars, Eight Minute Empire, Kromlech’s Orc Warchief, Witness, new Nachtjager releases for Flames of War, Scoville, Wizard Dodgeball, San Juan (the game, not the location. Though one is based on the other), Xia: Legends of a Drift System, Out of Dodge, Hoyuk, the 5th Edition Monster Manual, Amerigo, and King of New York.
That should keep you busy for a while.
Mage Company brings you more tribal action with their Kickstarter campaign for Hoyuk: Anatolia. With new Achievements like finding a water supply, throwing a feast, and creating Artifacts, Hoyuk: Anatolia continues the fun and feel of Hoyuk into a new era.
The campaign is around $500 from their goal, but with still 22 days left to go on the clock.
