I know. I know. This was supposed to go up yesterday.
Well, WordPress has been flaky lately and it missed its posting window. Hence why it’s going up now with a reworded opening talking about it not being posted on Saturday instead of saying, “I’m going to the LGS and gonna pick me up a Minx for Guild Ball!”
But anyway, without any further delay, today we have: Great Western Trail, Click Click Boom, Radiant, Potion Explosion: The Fifth Element expansion, Rone: Races of New Earth, Legendary Showdown, Pocket Madness, Quadropolis, Rocky Road a la Mode, Race for the Galaxy iOS, Warhammer 40k: 8th Edition, Warhammer 40k: Dark Imperium, Port Royal, Flying Kiwis, and Magic Maze.
We’re making our way there, ladies and gentlemen. The previous weekend is as far from us as the next one is to us. Have you started getting together any plans? We’ve got the gaming day at the library coming up this weekend. Gonna hang out and play some Guild Ball and hopefully Fujian Trader. But we’ve still got a couple days to get through, first. So let’s stock up on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today we have: Luxumbra: Infinity Collectors on Kickstarter, New Silvia Model Available From Brother Vinni, New DBA 3.0 East Frankish or Norman Army Pack Now Available From Baueda, Brigade Models Release Netherlands Aeronef, Gioconomicon Posts Photos From Nuremberg Toy Fair, February Releases Available From Terrible Kids Stuff, PicoArmor’s War College is Open, KaYo Miniatures Clown Army Up On Kickstarter, MattimaoPaints Having A Sale On How To Paint Board Game Miniatures Book, Three new SCW 28mm flag sets From Minairons Miniatures, Company B Releases BA-10 Armored Car, Win this Painted Edo Scutter From Bombshell Miniatures, New Age of Sigmar Tokens and Templates Available from Advanced Deployment, Miss Cupidon Available From Predastore, and Oldhammer Goblins Up On Kickstarter.
And we have the week continuing along. Seems this one’s going rather slowly, if you asked me. Earlier today, I looked at the clock and went, “How is it only just after 10am? I’ve been here in the office for the past 17 hours!” Note: I’d not actually been here 17 hours at that point. Just seemed like it. Perhaps snacking on some bite-sized gaming stories will help out.
Today on the platter we have: Krakon Games Running Frills & Fauna Kickstarter, Gioconomicon Posts Photos From Spiel 2016, On Target Green & Red Lasers For Line of Sight On Kickstarter, Mojo Tray System: Modular Transport On Kickstarter, New releases from Terrible Kids Stuff – First half of October 2016, New Condition Markers, Melee Widgets and Base Inserts from Advanced Deployment, The Roots of Magic: Students of Sorcery Kickstarter coming in November, Divine Art Playing Cards Relaunched on Kickstarter, and Devils Dungeon Kickstarter – Milestone Unlocked.
It’s that time again, everyone. It’s Saturday. When you read this, it’ll be at least 2pm, Eastern. But for me, currently, it’s 5:30am. I’ve got a group of friends coming over for some gaming starting at 9am and have a bunch to get done before that. We’ll probably get in some Ascension, Blokus, maybe Dogs of War. All good stuff. Also, we’ll probably talk about characters for a D&D game that’s starting to coalesce. But that’s as may be, in the meantime, I need to type up your Review Roundup for the day.
Today we have: Arcadia Quest, The Pioneers Program, Dungeon Saga, The Hunt for the Ring, Tripods & Triplanes, Brides & Bribes, Terraforming Mars, Guild Ball, Cry Havoc, Flip City and Flip City: Reuse, Steam Time, M.U.L.E., Brick Party, and Snowdonia.
And we’ve once more made it to the weekend successfully. The natural order has been maintained. I mean, just think if we woke up the day after Friday and it was, like, Wednesday or something. Man, that’d be a mess. But, as I said, that’s not happened. As such, we should get on with the regular Saturday routine and get you some reviews.
Today we have: Kill the King, Captain Sonar, Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell, Mansions of Madness 2nd Edition, The Dragon & Flagon, No Honor Among Thieves, Via Nebula, Behind the Throne, Star Trek: Ascendancy, Antarctica, Costa Rica, Heroes of Normandie iOS, Lost Woods, Battle Gnomes, and Ice Cool.
Well, yesterday was quite a day. Very busy getting that Betrayal at Calth review done. For those that might not have seen it yet, spoilers: I think it’s a fun game that, with the announcement of the Specialty Development Studio, I hope gets some expansions in the future. I’d love to see some new scenarios and more aspects added to it. Perhaps tie-ins with other chapters as well. I’d love to see a “Dark Angels vs. Dark Angels” expansion, for example. We’ll just have to wait and see where it goes from here.
Anyway, on to today. It’s time for a quick bite to eat on some bite-sized stories for you.
Today’s servings include: West Wind Productions Bringing Legions of Rome to Kickstarter, Gioconomicon Posts Photo Galleries From European Events, and New WWII Minis Released By Askari Miniatures.
And we’ve arrived. Friday. Such a great feeling. The weekend is just ahead with all the possibilities that it brings. I hope you’ve got some gaming lined up for yours. It is the perfect time for such things, after all.
Friday also brings us a new batch of bite-sized stories.
This group includes: Brigade Models – new 15mm SF Utility Vehicles, Khurasan releases 15mm Stryker, Raid & Trade: War on the Streets Coming to Kickstarter, Wisdom from the Wastelands Issue #51: Mutated Animal/Plant Genotypes, Fat Goblin Games to release new Shadows over Vathak Corebooks, Orctober Speshuls From Kromlech, 2015 Update for “Spiel in Essen” App by Gioconomicon.net, Ancient Samnites Previewed at Victrix, Contemptor Pattern Volkite Culverin Available to order from Forge World, and Spawn of Sharktipede Up on Kickstarter.
Gioconomicon made their way to the Nuremberg International Toy Fair (yeah, I’m a bit jealous). They made sure to take a lot of photos while there. Well, they’ve sorted through them and posted them up on their website. So you can see what was going on at the show and feel, at least a little bit, like you were there.

It’s Wednesday already? This week’s going by like last week did. It’ll be Saturday before you know it (and time to play some D&D for me, anyway).

After the break, we’ve got announcements about several Kickstarters launching next week (Titan-Forge, Wizard Dodgeball, Ghost Train Games, and Schrodinger’s Cats), some new renders from the ATER Kickstarter, Gioconomicon’s Giocomics now available in English, a new WIP from Escenografia Epsilon, a new release from Brother Vinni, a New Military History: Medieval Wargame How To Play posted, some new WIPs from Abyss, Archimina launched their Kickstarter campaign, and finally, some new concept art from John Kovalic for a secret project he’s working on.

This App’s goal is to help you find the games you want to buy at the Essen Spiel 2014. It will also allow you to share info on the games you seek or buy with other users, and to compare these statistics with Boardgamegeek’s wished or owned.

Gioconomicon.net has posted their interview with Andrea Angiolino and Andrew Mainini about Sails of Glory.
From their website:
For so it was spoken, especially since everyone is wondering how a game system as lucky as that of Wings of War (now Wings of Glory ) still had not been pursued in different ambience. To impress, arrive Sails of Glory , in a romantic and elegant (the naval battles of the Napoleonic era) as much as that of the knights of the First World War biplanes. In this new adventure fun, Andrea Angiolino there has launched a new co-author, Andrew Mainini and Gioconomicon, with a scoop on a global scale (!) has bought up an interview with a preview of both!
English Interview here!
