Midweek Snippets

Well, I don’t know about you, but my week’s already been pretty full of gaming stuff, mostly yesterday. I ended up having my order from Miniature Market come in (containing the Curse of the Statuettes adventure), and then Ray got back from Origins and I got some Muse on Minis tokens for Guild Ball as well as some expansions for Ascension. Now… just need to get to the weekend where I’ll be able to really take a look at all of it, and maybe manage to get them some use.
For that, I need to stock up on some bite-sized gaming stories.

Today on the platter we have: Advanced Deployment Anniversary Sale Happening Now, BattleScribe 2.01 Released, Sergei 76 Available soon From Klukva Miniatures, Eldertree Gaming Releases New Dice Towers, Commissar Elizabeth Raven Available From Brother Vinni, Stray Dog Minis now available from Miniature Building Authority, Imperial Books of Salvation Available From Kromlech, Dragons Conquer America Legacy Campaigns Coming to Kickstarter October 2017, and Final Days for Samhain Board Game On Kickstarter.

Samhain Board Game Up On Kickstarter

The Romans. They’re one of history’s most prolific conquerors. But they certainly met with a fair share of resistance from those they were looking to enlighten with civilization (or “enlighten” with “civilization,” depending on which side of the Loricae Segmentata you were on). In Samhain, the Romans are looking to conquer the Celts, and the Celts are looking to resist. Which side of the pilum will you be on? The game is up on Kickstarter now.

Agamemnon Strategy Board Game Up On Giochistarter

During an Ancient Greek history class, I had to read the Iliad, which tells the epic tale of the Trojan War. Helen had been taken by Paris to Troy. Zeus forgot to yell “spoilers” before he said, “By the way, the Greeks are gonna win” at the beginning of it all (they did up winning, of course, because it’s Zeus). Soon you’ll be able to bring the conflict to your tabletops with Agamemnon, which is up on Giochistarter now.

Giochistarter To Start Accepting Payment in Installments for Crowdfunding Campaigns

Here’s something that might see its way to hopefully other crowdfunding platforms. Giochistarter, an Italian crowdfunding platform, has started allowing installments for payments on campaigns. I know I’ve looked at a crowdfunding campaign and gone, “I wish I had the money for that right now.” Well, with installment paying, more people might be able to join in on campaigns since they know they’ll have a bit of time to fully pay off their tab.
