And we’ve circled back around to the start of the work week. But, never fear, it will eventually be the weekend again, and more gaming will be had. And, with gaming, sometimes comes terrain. So, to make sure your gaming tables look as good as possible, let’s head into the Terrain Corner.
Today we have: New Imperial Assault Map Released From Fantasy Flight, Acheson Creations 20% Sale on More Adventurer’s Corner Products, and Official Frostgrave Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
Aaaaaaand we loop around to Monday.
No, I’m not really a fan of it, either. But, that’s the way the world works. We can still try and make the most of it by thinking about next weekend and the gaming that will (hopefully) be had. And with that gaming probably comes terrain.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New Lord of the Rings Playmats Available From Fantasy Flight and New official Frostgrave Mat Available From Pwork Wargame.
When you want to fill up your day with gaming, a great way to do so is via gaming magazines. And if you’re a fan of Frostgrave, you’ll want to check out Spellcaster magazine. Issue 2 is available now for your downloading and reading pleasure. Included in it, as you can tell from the cover, are rules for dragons. And you know they’ve got my attention there.
We’re chugging along, everyone. Wednesday is upon us. The weekend is coming ever-closer.
Has the week gone by quickly for everyone else? It’s been a fast start for me. And with several new proofing projects in the pipe, I’m certainly going to be busy the rest of the week. But hey, busy means the time goes by quickly. But I’ll need to keep up my strength. For that, let’s nosh on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Ratgard: LeaderRatss Battle Tank and Ratgard AFV Track Guard Now Available, New releases from Terrible Kids Stuff – August 2017, Star Sailors Set One: Magical Girls Available From Okumarts Games, Halfling Skeleton Armies Now on Kickstarter, Antenociti’s Workshop Running US-IMF : 28mm & 15mm Sci-fi Armour Kickstarter, U.S.O.R. We all love to fill our lives with all things gaming. If you’re a fan of the Frostgrave setting and wish there was more for it that you can interact with, your wish has been granted. Next week, the new Spellcaster: The Frostgrave Magazine will launch its inaugural issue.
But it’s not just any Saturday.
It’s the Saturday of a 3-day weekend.
Hopefully, you’re out, enjoying yourselves somewhere. Be it gaming, out at the lake, a camping weekend, or whatever. But if you’re stopping by here, I know it’s because you still crave those gaming reviews. So let’s get to them.
Today we have: Knot Dice Deluxe, Arcadia Quest: Pets, Hoyuk, Masmorra: Dungeons of Arcadia, Realm Master, Frostgrave: Ulterior Motives, Anansi and the Book of Stories, 3 to 4 Headed Monster, Histrio, Draconis Invasion, Green Deal, Difference, Terra Mystica iOS, Scum of the Earth, and The Campaign for Kharkov: October 1941.
Well, it seemingly took an eternity, but it is now Saturday.
And, as I expected, from the time I clocked out until even now seems to have gone by very quickly. So, by the time I finish this, I guess it’ll be time for Monday’s Terrain corner…
But that’s as may be.
Today we have: Cauldron Master, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shadows Of The Past Board Game Review, April O’Neil Hero Pack For Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shadows of the Past, Dice City, Picassimo, The Who Were 8, Cosmic Run: Rapid Fire, Roll Through the Ages: The Bronze Age, Dragoon, Dubai: Rebuild the Ruins, Mage Wars: Paladin vs. Siren, Firefly: Crime and Punishment, and Frostgrave Expansions.
It’s Saturday. That means it’s the weekend. That means I’m happy. Went grocery shopping this morning to get ingredients to make turkey soup as well as this year’s fruitcake. Still need to get one last thing (that has its own theme song for the activity of getting it). That’ll start getting ready today, while the final assembly will be tomorrow. What to do in the meantime? Maybe put together some Kingdom Death and play some Guild Ball. Also, give you the reviews you so desperately desire.
Today we have: Terraforming Mars, Adrenaline, Rubicon Models Panzer III, Star Wars Dobble (AKA – Spot It), Lord of the Rings The Card Game, Captain Sonar, Planet Rush, Fight for Olympus, Rollet, and A Game of Thrones: Hand of the King.

Brigade Games and NorthStar are bringing you their 8th Gnickstarter campaign (or is it “Nickstarter”? I dunno, the page uses both. So take or leave the “G” as you please). This time around it’s a new Frostgrave expansion: Into the Breeding Pits. What’s a (G)Nickstarter? It’s the special pre-order program that the companies have.
Frostgrave is getting some new releases for it. Brigade Games and Sally 4th are teaming up to get you some great deals as part of their Nickstarter program. Yes, Nickstarter and not Kickstarter. Because, while they’re not over on Kickstarter looking for funding and such, they do have stretch goals based on pre-orders made for the game. The more pre-orders, the more gets unlocked. Hence, Nickstarter.
Osprey Publishing and Northstar Military Figures are teaming up to take you to the frozen land of Nador… I mean Frostgrave, with a new fantasy skirmish wargame. In Frostgrave, players are playing as wizards who form up bands of followers who then roam the streets, looking for various lost, and powerful, magic items. Each wizard comes from one of the various wizard schools and can learn up to 80 different spells.
