We’re continuing our trek through the work week. Actually, in a way, for me it’s sort of like a Friday. I say “sort of” because I’m gonna be working from home tomorrow a bit, but I actually have the day off. Don’t worry, though. I’ll still be bringing you some stories. But yeah, gottta get some stuff prepped for the weekend. What am I going to be doing? Well, going to a binge watching party for the new season of MST3K that’s coming out.
But that’s for later. As for now, it’s time to make sure your gaming tables look as good as possible.
Today in the Terrain Corner we have: New To Kill A King Terrain From Sarissa Precision, New Orc Junk City Fuel and Ammo Piles From Kromlech, New Mousepad Material Mats Available From Pwork Wargame, New Wood Coffin Set Available From Tabletop-Art, New Brick Walls Sets Available From Micro Art Studio, Fantasy Arc releases Gwenilth: Lost City of the Elves terrain, West Land Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargame, and Textured Foam Scenery available from Firedragon Games.
I had myself a pretty good weekend. Got some Guild Ball in both Friday and Saturday. Made some Italian Beef and chocolate chip cookies. I played some Usual Suspects. It was a good time. Though I need to get my group to start using terrain on our Guild Ball pitches. What sort of terrain? Well, we could use some of the stuff below.
In today’s Terrain Corner we have: Mega Metropolis Scenery now available from Fantasy Arc, Sea Dog Game Studios releases 15mm shipwrecks, Heroic Maps release: The Temple of Ivy, and Operation Alpha: Pwork Wargames Sci-Fi Gaming Mat Now Available.
Hey everyone. To those in the Northeast, I hope you’re ok and you’re able to start digging out of the snow that landed on your doorstep. Here in Atlanta, we didn’t have much trouble at all. In fact, it was almost 50 degrees yesterday. *ducks the various things that are suddenly thrown at him*
Yes, well, that may be the case, but it’s also the case that it’s Monday. And seeing as it is Monday, it’s time to make your gaming tables look better.
Today’s Terrain Corner articles consist of: New American Civil War Forts from Brigade Models, Fantasy Arc Releases Bug Hunt Locations Expansion for Bug Hunt Corridors, and Pwork Wargames fantasy gaming mat: War Sands.
The week rolls on and we once more find ourselves coming around to Thursday. Just a week until my favorite holiday of the year! Woo! Turkey has already been purchased. This week’s groceries will include ingredients for the brine it will soak in overnight from Wednesday to Thursday next week.
As well as possibly an extra turkey, since I’m going to be taking this first one over to a friend’s place, and I’m wanting lots of leftovers.
But that’s as may be. Right now, it’s time to make your gaming table look as fantastic as your holiday table with a Terrain Corner feature.
Let’s dig in with: Deep-Cut Studio releases new Mars themed gaming mat and New 10mm buildings now available for Fantasy Arc’s MicroClad Metropolis.
You know that lately we’ve been starting to try and group various like-type stories together. We’ve got our Podcast Post we make on Tuesdays and our Review Roundup on Saturdays. Well, we’ve looked it over and decided that Terrain would be a good story type to bundle all together in one place as well. This is the first of our Terrain Corner spots, where we’ll be bringing you the latest in products to make your gaming table look the best it can.
In this inaugural batch we have: New Industrial Battlefield and English Timber Framed Buildings from Warlord Games and Sarissa Precision, MicroClad Metropolis released by Fantasy Arc, Deep-Cut Studio releases gaming mats for aerial combats, Manorhouse Workshop Kickstarter Halfway There Goal Unlocked, and New Nebula 36×36 inch battle mat from Micro Art Studio.
You’ve survived another week! You deserve something special. You know, you’ve worked hard. Take the next two days off, on me. (Note: offer only valid if you work Monday-Friday. I don’t need anyone messaging me saying I got them fired over the weekend. 😛 ) Hopefully you have some gaming action lined up. My D&D got moved to next weekend. So this weekend I’m getting my tattoo finally colored in. I’m rather excited. I’ve been wanting to finish the piece for months now.
For those that don’t know, I’ve got the werebear artwork, done by the legendary and world-famous Heath “BA” Foley, from Blackwater Gulch on my upper right arm. Yeah, it’s a bear and has gaming ties. What sort of game-related tattoos do the rest of you have? Share yours and there may be a special prize in it for one lucky commenter. (do try and keep photos work-appropriate, as much as possible, please)
Anyway, on to the bite-sized stories we’ve collected in the past couple days.
