Well-known by you readers as one of my most-favorite days of the week, Friday just has so much… potential. You get out of work and it’s like, “Man! I could do anything!” Ok, maybe not anything, but you know what I mean. So, as you get set for your weekend adventures, make sure you binge on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Hirelings of Asura Coming To Kickstarter April 26th, Muddy Pitch Bases Available From Tabletop-Art, and Final Hours for Devil’s Dungeon II Kickstarter.
Quite a blustery day here in Atlanta for the middle of the week. Despite being the first day of spring, it seems as though winter is looking to hang on for a little longer. So, even though there’s more light than there is dark now (at least, here in the Northern Hemisphere), we should still stock up on bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Okumarts Games Releases Four Sets of Super-villain Paper Miniatures, Gravetides Fantasy Fleet Coming to Kickstarter, Afro-Zombie Launching Steam Girls 75mm Minis Kickstarter Soon, Stars Reach 2 Kickstarter Running Now, Dark Art Studios Running Devil’s Dungeon II Kickstarter, Elder Dice: Unspeakable Tomes Up On Kickstarter, and Really Useful Box Storage For Sails of Glory Ships Released.
Byron Townshend is the sculptor for Dark Art Studios. He’s started a new series that you can check out where he shows you how he creates the creatures that eventually go for sale on the site. He’s starting out with Part 1, wherein he shows you how he starts with an armature and works his way up using traditional sculpting techniques with Green Stuff. If you’ve ever had questions about how figures are made, or maybe wanted to start trying it for yourself, you should check this out.
As the week continues along, we get ever-closer back to that beloved weekend. Still have half the week to get through, though. And if we’re gonna make it, we should stock up on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: New Bases Available From Secret Weapon Miniatures, New Classic Movie Minis Available To Order From Sally 4th, Dark Art Studios Announces Devil’s Dungeon II Project, Warsaw Uprising 1944 28mm Figures by Infamous JT Up On Kickstarter, and Legendary Metal Coins Season 3 Live on Kickstarter.
It’s a cold and snowy day here over in Atlanta. A thin layer of ice is concealed under a small blanket of snow. As such, it’s “work from home” day for the bear. Atlantans tend to have rather dubious driving skills in ideal conditions. Throw in some ice and snow and it’s not so much a matter of being worried about your own car, it’s everyone else flying in every direction you’ve gotta worry about. So I’ll just sit here and snack on some bite-sized gaming stories from the comfort of my den.
On the platter today we have: Reptilian Overlords Releases Enemy Trooper Heads, Dark Art Studios January Sale Happening Now, Daughters of the Orphanage Coming From Raging Heroes, HeresyLab Bringing New Sci-Fi Minis to Kickstarter Soon, and Brigade Models Releases New 15mm Hammer’s Slammers Vehicles.
Friday is here! Woo! Gateway to the weekend. I’m hoping yours will be filled with all sorts of gaming. I might get in some Guild Ball on a brand-new gaming mat this evening. Tomorrow, I’m gonna be hanging out with friends for an early Halloween party. Should be a good time filled with tasty things to snack on. Speaking of which, we’ve got some bite-sized gaming goodies for you here.
Today on the platter we have: New Chapter Doors Available From Forge World, The Painting Frog Covers Forja Profana’s Crowdfunding Campaign, and Dark Art Studios Running Fierce – Warriors & Monsters Kickstarter.
The week continues along. We’ve made it halfway through! The weekend will be here before we know it. At least, I think it will, since it seems this week is going by pretty quickly. Seems I keep looking down at my clock and going, “man, it’s (time) already?” Yesterday seemed to go by in a flash. So 3 more flashes and we’ll be to Saturday, right? Well, if we’re going to be time-hopping like that, we should stock up on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today we have: Roll Versus Coal Dice Sets Available, Dark Art Studios Announces Fierce – Warriors & Monsters Kickstarter, Just A Few Days Left in the Pathfinder: Modern Adventures Kickstarter, New Morbid Doors Available From Kromlech, Brigade Models Release Neo-Soviet Armoured Infantry Carrier in 6mm, Redgrass Games Running Everlasting Wet Palette Kickstarter, Shieldwolf Miniatures Running Warmaidens & Dragonbreds Kickstarter, New Dark Stain Option For Ultimate Gaming Table, and Immortal Figures: Gods of Olympus Tabletop Gaming Miniatures Up On Kickstarter.
Hard to believe it’s Friday already. A week ago, we were into the 2nd day of Gen Con. This week has been one of recuperation from the show along with trying to catch up on almost 2 weeks’ worth of e-mails. O,o
So, while I sit here, listening to Austrian Death Machine (thank you, Raoul, for the suggestion), I am sorting through the last of the things I had to put off for the show, and get totally caught back up. That includes another combined Snippets/Terrain Corner post (since I had another one of those just the other day, I figured combining another today would be good, with going back to the standard rotation next week).
Anyway, today we have: Prime Knight Battlewalker Available From Puppets War, New Releases Available From Killbox Games, Kentucky Sawdust Labor Day Sale Coming, Darkburg: Fantasy Gaming Mat Available From Pwork Wargames, Acheson Creations Releases 13 New 28mm Plastic Accessories, Devil Dungeon Scenery & Battle Mat Released by Dark Art Studios, New Art Decks from Post World Games Up On Kickstarter, New Infinity Terrain Available From Micro Art Studios, Tabletop Fantasy Football Accessory Figures Up On Kickstarter, New Stretch Goals in the Tubular Buildings Kickstarter, Brigade Models – New French Aeronef, and Suburban Gaming Mat Available From Warzone Studio.
This fast week (or so it felt) is coming to an end. We’re steaming our way full-speed ahead towards Saturday. Hopefully, you’ve got some gaming lined up. I’ve still gotta figure out what I’ll be up to. … Something, I’m sure. But no matter what, I should fill up on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today we have: Birthday Sale Going On At Advanced Deployment, Dark Art Studios Running Monsters in Metal Kickstarter, River Horse Previews Tails of Equestria Dice, Khurasan releases 15mm Purgators, Pulp Figures Attends Historicon, and Bastille Day Offer and Double-Barreled Shotguns From Kromlech.
Hey kids. We have made it. It’s Friday at last. This certainly has been an eventful week. It’s also gone by quickly, at least for me. I hope everyone at Adepticon is having a good time. If you’re not there, I still hope you have a weekend of gaming planned. And if you’re going to be gaming all weekend, you should power up on some bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Advanced Deployment’s Adepticon Sale Happening Now; Desert Rats Paint Set Available From Battlefront; Topside Minis Jutland Sets Released – 1/1800, 1/2400, and 1/3000 scales; Oddzial Osmy’s 3mm March Releases Arrive at PicoArmor; Afrika Korps Paint Set Available From Battlefront; Frazetta Miniatures Reaches Funding Goal; Color Quest Season 1 Reaches Funding Goal; New Quick Shades Washes Set Available For Pre-Order From The Army Painter; and Spring Sale Happening At Dark Art Studios.
I hope you had a good Thanksgiving (for those that celebrate) and a good Thursday and Friday (for those that don’t). I’ve had a great couple of days, taking time to have both Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving 2: Thank Harder. Also got in some good gaming. Ascension, Raise Your Goblets, Guild Ball. Good times. More Guild Ball today and maybe building a Gundam kit. But, obviously, even if I take a couple days off, the news doesn’t stop. There’s a lot more holiday sales going on. Here’s another group that’s going on this weekend.
And we have the week continuing along. Seems this one’s going rather slowly, if you asked me. Earlier today, I looked at the clock and went, “How is it only just after 10am? I’ve been here in the office for the past 17 hours!” Note: I’d not actually been here 17 hours at that point. Just seemed like it. Perhaps snacking on some bite-sized gaming stories will help out.
Today on the platter we have: Krakon Games Running Frills & Fauna Kickstarter, Gioconomicon Posts Photos From Spiel 2016, On Target Green & Red Lasers For Line of Sight On Kickstarter, Mojo Tray System: Modular Transport On Kickstarter, New releases from Terrible Kids Stuff – First half of October 2016, New Condition Markers, Melee Widgets and Base Inserts from Advanced Deployment, The Roots of Magic: Students of Sorcery Kickstarter coming in November, Divine Art Playing Cards Relaunched on Kickstarter, and Devils Dungeon Kickstarter – Milestone Unlocked.
We’re halfway there, kids. The weekend is just 2.5 short days away (well, hopefully they’re relatively short). Hopefully you’re starting to get together plans for those great days off. And more-hopefully, those plans include gaming. I’ve not fully figured out what I’ll be up to. The last two weekends have been rather full, so I might take it easy this weekend. We’ll see.
But either way, we need to stock up on some bite-size gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Printable Armies Up On Kickstarter, New 15mm Late Republican Romans From Baueda, Dark Art Studios Launches Devil’s Dungeon Nightmare Creatures Kickstarter, Watchful I Studio Announces 28mm Terracotta Army, Corvus Corax Miniatures Live on Kickstarter, and Flatminis releases a second wave of 2D miniatures.
Is this week going by quickly for everyone else, or is it just me? I woke up this morning and sort of shocked myself with the fact that I was putting on my Wednesday shirt already. We’ll be getting to the weekend before we know it. But in the meantime, we should stock up on some bite-size gaming stories.

Alright, everyone. We’ve made it halfway through the week. With just a bit more work, we can make it once more to the weekend. I’m confident that we’ll be able to do it. But before then, we’ll need to refuel with some bite-sized gaming stories. Good thing that’s just what’s on the menu right now.
On today’s platter we have: Tricorn Games Looking for Flipped Off! Playtesters, New Kromlech Orc Mecha-Armours Bundles, Brand New Magic: The Gathering – Puzzle Quest Update (v1.6) Features Shadows Over Innistrad Card Set, Purgatory start design of their Youtube channel, Dark Art – Aug Releases – Ghouls, Undying Dynasties Indiegogo from Tabletop Miniature Solutions Funded, Vampire Hunters – Final Hours on Kickstarter, Avatars of War Releases The 9th Age posters & flyers, PolyHero Dice – Wizard Set Up On Kickstarter, Gangfight Games Moves Blackwater Gulch Kickstarter Launch Date, and Kromlech Heavy Duty Knife Now Available.
It’s going guys. The week is continuing on. We’ll make it. The weekend will be here as soon as it can.

Spring is in the air!
… most people know because their allergies are going haywire. So it’s a good time to stay inside and try to get your sinuses to open up. While inside, why not grab some minis and work on a project with them? That’s what Dark Art Studios thinks, anyway. They’ve got their Spring Sale going on now.
Here at Adepticon we’ve got the Crystal Brush awards. But what if you can’t make it out to where the painting contest is happening? Well, there’s several online painting contests you can join in on. One such is the Dark Art Studios painting contest. They’re taking submissions now.
Or is it Friday Snippets, because I have the day off tomorrow? (and hopefully you do, too) Either way, it’s some bite-sized stories before we have lots more bites tomorrow for Thanksgiving.
And yes, I really am as jazzed about the holiday as it seems.

Welcome back, TGN Readers. The week is half-over. Or it’s half-started. I guess that depends on if your an optimist or a pessimist. Or how much you liked last weekend versus are looking forward to the one about to come up. Or some other psychology stuff that doesn’t really matter right now.

It’s Sunday. Hopefully you had an epic Saturday of gaming. For those that went to Salute, I hope it was a blast. I’m really jealous of those that were able to go. It’s a show I’d love to make it to at some point in time.
My Saturday was full of building the Eisenkern APC from DreamForge-Games. Expect the review of that kit later this week. Sneak Preview: There are 12 trooper minis inside the model. Each model is made up of about 11 pieces. So that’s well over 100 parts just for models inside the tank.
