Coraline: Beware the Other Mother

It's been rainy here in Atlanta for a couple days now. It's been a perfect time to watch Coraline, one of my personal favorite movies. It's supposed to rain again today, and while watching the movie, I could also slap Coraline: Beware the Other Mother down on the table. The new board game based on the movie (which was based on the book) is now available.

Sure, it's October, and that's a perfect time to get out some scary movies, but Coraline is one you can just out just about any time (in fact, I did just a couple months ago). Soon, you'll have a new way to explore the movie with Coraline: Beware the Other Mother, a new card game coming from WizKids. They've posted up a little preview for you to check out. Just don't stay too long or you may end up with button eyes.

WizKids is creating a card game based on the Coraline movie (one of my personal favorites, mind you), which is, of course, based on the Neil Gaiman book. It's called Coraline: Beware the Other Mother. In the game, players take on the role of the ghost children, captured by the Baldam, who are looking to free Coraline by finding various objects around the spooky house and avoiding all the other strange people living there. The game is set for a December release.
