July Releases Available From CMON

The latest set of releases are now available from CMON. It’s a gang-heavy month, it seems. There’s 3 organized crime games available (Banana Bandits, The Godfather: Corleone’s Empire, and Gang Rush: Breakout), one about investigating a murder scene in Sherlook, and finally, there’s Modern Art, which, I guess, you could be smuggling stolen art. What I’m saying is that, without meaning to, it’s kind of a theme month this month.

Well, they’re getting an update, and you can check out what all will be (potentially) changing. The Beta Test version of the new rules has been posted online.

I really think there needs to be more focus on WWI. Much of the world as we know it today comes from that conflict. Thankfully, there are games like The Grizzled. Speaking of which, CMON Limited has announced that they are purchasing the game from Sweet Games. Along with that, they’ve announced a new expansion is in the works. It’s called The Grizzled: Armistice Edition and it will add a campaign mechanic to the game.

Due to the rain, my initial plans for the day fell through. But I’m hoping to rebound and maybe hang out with some people here and just chill. Yes, just me, them, and a whole pan of homemade banana pudding cheesecake…

New Releases Available From CMON

Lots of releases coming out today. CMON’s got several, themselves. If you’re a fan of Rum & Bones, there’s a new faction, some new mercenaries, as well as some deep sea creatures available. If you’re a fan of simple bluffing games, there’s Kronia, which is one I personally enjoy. These are available now at your LGS as well as online.

CMON Previews Lannisters Guards Sculpts for A Song of Ice and Fire Miniatures Game

When you’re wealthy, you can trick out your troops with the best. That’s just what the Lannisters do in A Song of Ice and Fire Miniatures Game coming from CMON. Their swordsmen have better arms and armor than just about anyone else out there. Though, since you can’t spend money when you’re dead, they don’t always stick around to see that armor get bloodied. It’s a fine balance that commanders will have to maintain when running them as a faction. In this preview, we get a look at some of the sculpts for the Lannister Guards.

June Releases Available for Dark Age

The Earth Caste are the new kids on the block, even though they’re part of one of the oldest factions for Dark Age. They’re making their presence known in the battles on the planet’s surface, as well as on tabletops, as they’ve got a new box set available. Not to be outdone, the Forsaken are also getting in on the action with a new battle suit. Plus, the new, snazzy packaging makes its way to the Fire Caste.

The Dragyri are getting a new caste in Dark Age. They’re the Earth Caste. You thought the Ice Caste was big on heavy-hitting and some armor. Well, the Earth Caste has that as well, plus several other tricks up their sleeve. Review Roundup

I know. I know. This was supposed to go up yesterday.
Well, WordPress has been flaky lately and it missed its posting window. Hence why it’s going up now with a reworded opening talking about it not being posted on Saturday instead of saying, “I’m going to the LGS and gonna pick me up a Minx for Guild Ball!”

But anyway, without any further delay, today we have: Great Western Trail, Click Click Boom, Radiant, Potion Explosion: The Fifth Element expansion, Rone: Races of New Earth, Legendary Showdown, Pocket Madness, Quadropolis, Rocky Road a la Mode, Race for the Galaxy iOS, Warhammer 40k: 8th Edition, Warhammer 40k: Dark Imperium, Port Royal, Flying Kiwis, and Magic Maze.

CMON Launches Zombicide: Green Horde Kickstarter

The Black Plague games have shown us that it’s not just humans that can succumb to the forces that cause you to be raised from the dead and seek to feast on the living. We’ve seen crows and wolves, but other sentient races can be affected as well. I Green Horde, the orcs have had their populations turned into zombies. Now they’re coming into the human lands. Green Horde is a new standalone expansion to Zombicide: Black Plague. It’s up on Kickstarter now.
Also: Zombie Dragon.

May Releases Available From CMON

This month brings you quite a lot of releases from CMON. There’s a new robot fighting game (so you know I’m on board). There’s a new worker-placement game (again, right up my alley). Dark Age & Wrath of Kings Panel From CMON Expo 2017

As we should all know, A Song of Ice and Fire is not CMON’s first foray into a miniatures game. They’re long-standing game, Dark Age, as well as Wrath of Kings, are both still being developed. They’ve had a couple panels for these two games, hosted by Bryan Steele, Dave Taylor, and David Doust. There’s quite a lot going on for you to check out.

A Song of Ice and Fire Seminar at CMON Expo 2017

Hey everyone. We’re here at CMON Expo 2017 at the A Song of Ice and Fire panel. This is the first real chance people are getting to hear about the upcoming miniatures game from designers Michael Shinall and Eric M. Lang. On the panel, we have Eric, Michael, and Guille (producer for the project). This is a Q & A fashion event, so I’ll be getting you as many of the questions and answers as possible.
Also, at the bottom, I got a bunch of pictures of some of the miniatures that will be in the starter box for the game (note: the miniatures shows are resins and not the final production plastics)
So let’s get to it!

Unfair Available Now From CMON

Lots of people love to go to amusement parks. The rides. The games. The food. There’s certainly plenty to do there. But the competition for those entertainment dollars means that parks are in fierce competition with one-another. In Unfair, players are the owners of their own theme park. They must do whatever they can in order to get people to come to their park and not their competitions. Sure, that’ll include building cool rides, but it can also mean sabotaging the competition. Nobody said life’s fair. Unfair is available now.
