CMON and Guillotine Games’ latest Kickstarter campaign is up, up and away. Head for the far-off planet of PK-L7 in Zombicide: Invader, the latest in the ongoing series. Though, this time, the regular zombies we’ve come to know have been replaced by Xenos. They’re no less deadly, though. Thankfully, there’s all sorts of futuristic weapons and equipment to help the Survivors, well… survive.

New Tribe Added to HATE Kickstarter

In the post-apocalyptic world of HATE, certain things that were once familiar have been twisted and deformed. The very plants that sustained the majority of life on the land became unrecognizable, with tendrils and grasping vines looking to hunt out prey. The result is the Sarrassa, a grotesque tribe that hovers between live and death. This new tribe has been added to the Kickstarter campaign as an add-on.

CMON Launches HATE Kickstarter

Well, the world’s come to an end again. Damnit, Todd! I told you not to poke at that big, red button! Now humanity’s had to form back into small Tribes in our own, isolated Villages. There’s not much left out there, and what there is has to be grabbed before anyone else gets it. And, you know, if you just happen to grab an enemy and cook them for dinner, so be it. Such is the story in HATE, the new board game from CMON that’s up on Kickstarter now.

CMON Previews A Mercenary Shaman for HATE

In the post-apocalyptic world, people have turned to the worship of the old gods and spirits that inhabit the ethereal realm. But it’s not always just the good spirits that they pray to. Check out the art and sculpt for one of them coming in the HATE board game.

It’s a tough life out there in the wastelands. But, apparently, if you’re good enough, strong enough, and eat enough other people, you can grow up to be pretty big. Makes sense, I suppose. Check out these figures coming for the game.

CMON Previews Um’Cal Tribe For HATE

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Just about all of us have heard that in some form or another. The Um’Cal tribe feels that way in HATE, the upcoming game from CMON. They’re all about individual sacrifice for the good of the Tribe. And the rest of the Tribe knows it. So if they see someone sacrifice themselves, they’ll work even harder to make sure that wasn’t in vain.

CMON Previews Um’Kator Tribe For HATE

Each tribe in HATE focuses on different strategies within the game. For the Um’Kator, they’re the type that can work with fate, itself, to bring themselves victory. The old saying, “It’s better to be lucky than good” applies here. If all the dice roll in your favor, how can you lose? (obviously, they can’t just make all their dice roll whatever they want, as much as all of us wish we had such power…)

CMON Posts HATE Development Article

Early next year, CMON will launch its Kickstarter campaign for HATE, its newest game. Based on the graphic novel, the game takes place in a post-apocalyptic future where society has collapsed (Gee, thanks Todd!) and civilization has been reduced to a few people, living in tribes, fighting over the meager resources. But what was it like developing the game? We get a small bit of insight into that with this preview.

CMON Previews Um’Rak For HATE

Well, the world’s come to an end. Damnit, Todd! How you managed to turn a taxi service into a catalyst for Armageddon I’ll never now, but here we are. We’ve gotta keep our tribe safe and secure from others, even as we head into the wastes to do battle. By the way, is that leg of that enemy tribesman done roasting yet? I’m getting a might peckish.
That’s what you’ll be saying when you play HATE, a new game coming from CMON next year. In this preview, we get a look at the Um’Rak tribe, getting an idea of how they work, plus checking out the various figures.

CMON Partners with Steve Jackson Games to Make Munchkin Board Games

Just about all of us have played some version of Munchkin in our time as gamers. It’s a fun, little card game from Steve Jackson that takes the usual tropes of dungeon delving (or going into space, or pirates, or faeries, or a hundred other things it’s spun off into) and turns them on their ear, many sets lovingly drawn by famed artist John Kovalic. Well, soon, that fun, little card game is going to be a board game series from CMON. Steve Jackson and CMON are partnering up to create a new line of games based on the beloved card game.
