Retailers special at the CMON Expo

CoolMiniOrNot Expo isn’t just for gamers, but for retailers as well. At the show, our Director of Business, Derek Osborne, will hold several panels discussing such things as building and growing a gaming community at your store. Do you want to know how to bring gamers to your store? Is your current community flagging for some reason? Derek will be there to help with your problems and to get your shop a hive of activity in the gaming community.

Also, as an added bonus, retailers who pre-register for the show will get a special bonus on their next retailer order if they have an account with CoolMiniOrNot Distribution.

Remember! Pre-Registration closes tomorrow! Don’t be on the outside looking in. Special hotel rates and the swag bag can be yours, but only if you act now!

CoolMiniOrNot Expo posts Panels, pre-reg. coming to a close

CoolMiniOrNot Expo is rapidly approaching. In fact, it’s the next convention CoolMiniOrNot will be attending! I’ll even get to go!

We’ve posted up the schedule of panels we plan on having at the show, because what good convention doesn’t have panels of experts? Come and learn about game design from the people that make the games you love. Talk with the pro-painters that inspire you. Are you a retailer and interested in creating or maintaining a gaming community at your store? We’ll have our own Derek Osborne tell you all about it.

Pre-Registration ends Friday! I’ve been told there are still a few swag bags available, so get in on the action now!

Bonus for retailers!
Do you have an account with CoolMiniOrNot for distribution? Do you want one? Contact our sales team at
Retailers who attend the show will get a special bonus.

From the update I wrote a little bit ago:

So we’ve got some fun news: Swag Bag!

The first 200 people to pre-register for the CoolMiniOrNot Expo are going to get an awesome Swag Bag.
What’s in it? Well, that’s a surprise (everyone loves surprises, too), but we can guarantee that it’s going to be at least $100 worth of stuff.
Yeah, spend $25 to pre-register for the Expo and we’ll hand you a bag worth at least $100. Seems like a good deal if you ask me.

Gioconomicon interviews game designer Eric Lang

Gioconomicon recently sat down with game designer Eric Lang to discuss his past as well as his future game projects.
The English version’s down at the bottom of the page, just so you know.

From the interview:

we published an interview with Eric M. Lang (also in english language) about his next big project with Cool mini or not and other projects

And don’t forget! If you want to meet and interview Eric, yourself, you can do so at the CoolMiniOrNot Expo!

CoolMiniOrNot vendor spotlight: On the Lamb Games

CoolMiniOrNot Expo is shaping up to be an awesome event. Here’s a look at another of the excellent vendors that is going to be showing off their wares at the show. Today (and since it’s 2pm) it’s On the Lamb Games!

The first thing up is information about Endless Fantasy Tactics.

On The Lamb Games’ newest project, Endless: Fantasy Tactics will be available to the general public at CMON Expo! Coming off a great Kickstarter in November, Endless brings tactical RPGs to your tabletop. Build a party of adventurers, pick their abilities, equip them with items, and battle it out on grid-based multi-level battlefields!

Next is about On the Lamb Games flagship game, Brushfire.

For Brushfire, OTL’s Wargame, the eighth starter set will be available. Based on Three Kingdoms China, the Chugoku Warband will include: Wu Xian, a tiger general; 2 Red Wu, red panda river pirates; and a Lem Han, a chicken-riding lemming Cavalry. A few other secrets are also in the pipeline, so make sure to stop by and find out what we’re cooking up!

OTL will be running demos right at their booth, come drop by and learn how to play both games. Visit with our Art Director, local Georgian, Heath Foley (OTL, Mantic Games, Hyacinth Games, Warlord Games).

So make sure you go and register now!
We’ve made it even easier to get your hotel room, too! All you need to do is follow this link and you’ll be getting the group rate of $84 a night!

CoolMiniOrNot Expo spotlights Battle Foam

CoolMiniOrNot Expo is coming in just a couple months.
We’ve got a lot of great vendors that will be in attendance. One of them is Battle Foam, and trust me, you’ll want to be here to see what they’ve got going on.

For the first 200 people to register for the convention, they’ll be giving away a 20% off coupon for any order after the convention. And that’s just a start.

They’ll also have their product line at the convention, including Dark Age and CMON bags, as well as the special foam trays for CMON products (Super Dungeon Explore, Dark Age, etc) at 10% off during the show. And if they didn’t bring something you wanted, or sold out, you can order it from them while at the show and they’ll give you free shipping for US customers. International orders will get a flat $20 shipping. Now that’s a nice deal.

And for those that may not have known, Battle Foam is also with Outlaw Miniatures, the guys doing Wild West Exodus. They’ll be running demos of the game at the show. Be sure to stop by and see how the game plays. Oh? And those first 200 people to register for the convention? They’ll also get an exclusive Union Lady of the West model.

Now that’s nice.
Be sure to check out everything in their Kickstarter campaign. They’ve unlocked a ton of stuff and still have 10 days to go.

So sign up and get yourself some nice goodies for the show.

And if that weren’t enough (it never is for you people! You’re insatiable!… which is fine) we’re giving away an X-Board Travel Display Board right here, right now (well, you can sign up below for it right now. We’ll do the drawing on Monday). All you have to do is comment below to get your name in the hat.
Small note: the box is a little rough, but the board’s still in perfect shape.

So yeah, sign up and come on out for the party here in Atlanta in May. We’ll be happy to have you.
