It’s Cards Against Humanity. I sometimes wonder if it’s still a game or if it’s performance art. It’s the holiday season and they’re at it again. This time, they’re out to Save America. Send them $15 and you’ll get 6 cool things (so not cow flop or literally nothing). What’re they going to do with the money? Well, the first thing they did was buy a plot of land along the US/Mexican border and hired a law firm that specializes in Eminent Domain to make sure that Trump’s wall is as frustrating to build as possible.
Well, the folks at Cards Against Humanity are at it again. They’ve released a new version of their game. It’s called Cards Against Humanity For Her. What’s different from the original version? Nothing. Well… except that the box is pink… and it costs $5 more. There’s also a new Period Pack expansion that is about… well… periods (and we don’t mean historical periods or what goes at the end of a sentence).
Welcome back to Saturday, dear friends. Hopefully you’re enjoying the day. I’ve been running around like crazy this morning, getting stuff done before I head to my friend’s place this evening for gaming fun. Once I’m done making this post, I need to bake cookies. But that’s as may be. I know you’re here for the reviews. So let’s get to them.
In this batch of reviews/previews, we’ve got: Warchimera Hammer Armoured Personnel Carrier, Lords & Ladies, Darkest Night, Hordes: High Command, Dogs of War, Race to the Rhine, Fishing Party, Machi Koro, Imperial Settlers, Cards Against Humanity, Witness, Tinku, Dragon Punch, and Mining Maniac.
Cards Against Humanity may have the cards be against humanity, but the people behind the game are all for humanity, and the advancement of it. As such, they’re joining up with SMBC for a Science Ambassador Scholarship. This scholarship is for women who are seeking an undergraduate degree in the sciences. It’s a full-ride scholarship, too! If you know anyone who might be interested (or if you’re interested, yourself), you can sign up to be notified when the scholarship will be open (for the 2016 school year) via the link.
The scholarship is being funded via the new “Science Pack” set of cards for CAH that you can pick up on their website.

Cards Against Originality is an app coming out this weekend that allows you to play Cards Against Humanity, including all the expansions, for free on your tablet, smartphone, or PC. This is because of the Creative Commons License that CAH is made under, where, as long as you’re not selling something (and since this is a free app, it’s not being sold), you can pretty much do with it as you please.
What are some of your best answers you’ve had in CAH games? Feel free to post them in the comments. I love the stuff that comes up.
