Well, we’ve made it halfway through the week. Just another half to go and we’ll be getting back to the weekend.
I know I could use to fuel up for that last push with a bunch of bite-sized gaming stories.
Today on the platter we have: Beneath Nexus Available for pre-order November 15th, Mage Company Posts 12 Realms: Dungeonland Cover, Comrades in Battle Passes Stretch Goals, and Kromlech New Release: New Breacher Bike Patterns.
Hey there everyone,
We’ve made it to Saturday, so that once again means it’s time for a Review Roundup. A bit lighter this week than usual. I’m sure that’s due to Gen Con last weekend. I expect, though, that the next couple weeks will be pretty full of new reviews. I know several reviewers were getting copies of the new CMON games, at least.
Also: We’re looking into what’s up with the TGN Blogs page. We’ll let you know when we find out anything.
Anyway, as for today, we’ve got: Battle of the Bands, Get Adler, Super Hack Override, Beneath Nexus, Legends of Andor New Heroes Expansion, Warmachine Cephalyx Mind Slaver & Drudges, Mansions of Madness 2nd Edition, Pandemic: Reign of Cthulhu, Tyrants of the Underdark, Animals On Board, Farmageddon: Farm Fresh Edition, and Stellar Conflict.
It’s been a scorcher so far this week in the US. Certainly has been here in Atlanta, at least. That heat’s made it rough to go outside for anything. Seems like a good time to stay inside and do some gaming. Or at least get set for some gaming this weekend. But if we’re going to make it through the heat and the week, we need to hydrate, as well as chow down on some bite-sized gaming stories.
On the platter today we have: Ainsty Castings Summer Sale and New Hammers Slammers 15mm, MidKnight Heroes Online store opening sale and Super Chibi round 2 Kickstarter, Silverclutch Games Launches Beneath Nexus Kickstarter Next Week, The Warriors: Turf Wars Kickstarter Launches On the 29th, Son of a Blank Party Card Game Contest Happening Now, Hero Master RPG-Inspired Greeting Cards Up On Kickstarter, and A.E.G.I.S. Coming To Kickstarter Soon.
If you over-use a resource, there’s a good chance that things will go wrong with it. The biggest of which is that you simply run out. But with something like magic, there’s also the potential for the magic to shift and reform, becoming corrupted over time. That’s just what is happening to the magic well beneath the city of Nexus. For thousands of years, the people of the city have been using this magic to create a city that’s a powerful attractant to people. But now, blight is coming from the well. Will you be able to save the city? That’s the story behind Beneath Nexus, a new dungeon crawl card game.
