Well, I don't know about you, but my week's already been pretty full of gaming stuff, mostly yesterday. I ended up having my order from Miniature Market come in (containing the Curse of the Statuettes adventure), and then Ray got back from Origins and I got some Muse on Minis tokens for Guild Ball as well as some expansions for Ascension. Now... just need to get to the weekend where I'll be able to really take a look at all of it, and maybe manage to get them some use.
For that, I need to stock up on some bite-sized gaming stories.

Today on the platter we have: Advanced Deployment Anniversary Sale Happening Now, BattleScribe 2.01 Released, Sergei 76 Available soon From Klukva Miniatures, Eldertree Gaming Releases New Dice Towers, Commissar Elizabeth Raven Available From Brother Vinni, Stray Dog Minis now available from Miniature Building Authority, Imperial Books of Salvation Available From Kromlech, Dragons Conquer America Legacy Campaigns Coming to Kickstarter October 2017, and Final Days for Samhain Board Game On Kickstarter.

Happy Thanksgiving Eve!
Or, for those of you not in the US. Happy Wednesday!
As for me, I'm going to be busy when I get home. I need to bake another pumpkin pie, put turkey 1 into the brine bucket, speed-thaw turkey 2 (place in cold, running water for a couple hours), and make whipped cream for the pies (cream, sugar, and spices). Gonna be very busy, but should be fun. But to have enough energy for that, I need to nosh on some bite-sized gaming stories.

Today we have: New Infinity Dice Sets From Corvus Belli, New Bases Available From Micro Art Studio, BattleScribe 2.0 Released, Dungeonland PnP is now available and Kickstarter Stretch Goals are revealed, New Alien Heads From Ramshackle Games, Okumarts Games team up with GG Studios, New Releases Available From Dark Sword Miniatures, Divine Art Playing Cards up On Kickstarter, Comrades in Battle Stretch Goal Levels Lowered, Head set Multi Pack From Ramshackle Games, NPC For Hire Game Aid On Kickstarter, New Temple of Isis Bases From Tabletop-Art, Fusion Bases by Wamp Up On Kickstarter, Highway System Coming to Kickstarter, New Female Greatcoat Troops Available From Victoria Miniatures, and New Hordes Token Sets Available From Advanced Deployment.

BattleScribe rings in the new year with a sale. They want you to be able to track your collections, create armies, and compare stats with their product, and they're taking half off the price in order to help out. Just head over to their website and get yourself a copy.
But you'd better hurry. The sale ends on Wednesday.

From the announcement:
BattleScribe Army List Creator has version 1.15.00 now available to use.

From the update:

BattleScribe 1.15.00 is now out, bringing a big overhaul of the printout when viewing your roster. The output style has been greatly improved, and there are several new options to let you customize the output to your taste.

Special mention goes to the new "minimal" output option - it reduces the length of the output by omitting list items that aren't relevant. This really cleans things up so that copying/pasting your list into forum posts and social networks works really nicely.

BattleScribe 1.15.00 is now out on all platforms: Android, iOS, Kindle Fire, Windows, Mac and Linux.

BattleScribe has redesigned the layout for the mobile version of their army creator program. Go have a look.

iOS Editing a roster

From the update:

As of versions 1.14.06 on Android and 1.14.07 on iOS, BattleScribe Mobile has had a big facelift. It's looked pretty outdated on both platforms for a long time, but now it finally looks at home among modern mobile apps. The iOS update also includes proper iPad support - no more nasty stretched iPhone interface!

On top of this, there's also been the usual swathe of new features, performance improvements, bug fixes and tweaks across all platforms, including desktop (see the BattleScribe news blog for full details).

This all comes together to make BattleScribe a fast and reliable army list creation tool across all platforms - iOS, Android and Windows/Mac/Linux computers.

BattleScribe has their BattleScribe Pro program on sale for half price over in their webshop.

From the sales sheet:

To bring in the new year, BattleScribe Pro will be half price for the first week of January (until midnight on the 7th).

Happy new year!

BattleScribe has a new update for their army creator software available.

From the update:

The latest version of BattleScribe is now available. BattleScribe is a powerful, universal army list building app that runs on Android, iPhone and Windows/Mac/Linux computers.

Pro users can now save units as a favourite, and re-select it quickly in future rosters. This saves you re-creating that complicated Imperial Guard platoon every time you make a list. If you're using Dropbox, your favourites are synced between your devices/computers, so you have access to your favourites at any time.

There's also the usual round of tweaks, bug fixes and performance improvements.

The update is now available on Desktop and Android. The iOS version has been submitted to Apple and is awaiting approval - it should become available in the next few days.

BattleScribe updated their software and how supports Dropbox (I love that program) integration for your rules and stats.

From the update:

The latest version of BattleScribe (an army list creator for Android, iOS, PC and Mac) has just been released for desktop computers and Android devices!

Do you use Dropbox? Well this update is for you...

BattleScribe now supports Dropbox file synchronization on desktop and Android. This means that your computer and Android devices can share the same data files and rosters - changes to your rosters or data files will be automatically synced across all the computers and Android devices that you have. Your latest rosters will be with you wherever you go - it'll even sync your list of repositories!

Of course there's also the usual round of tweeks and bug fixes, so make sure you're up to date, even if you're not a Dropbox user.
