This is gonna be a pretty short week for me. It’s like it’s already Wednesday, in a way, since there’s only 2 more days after this to the weekend. But it’s not actually Wednesday. It’s Monday. As such, that means my Robin Hood/Star Wars shirt and a Terrain Corner, rather than my Ministry of Silly Walks shirt and a Snippets.
Today in the Terrain Corner we’ve got: New Wizard Tower and Holiday Sale Happening At Tabletop World, 4Ground Holiday Sale Happening Now, Heroic Maps – Terrain: Nebula Star Field Now Available, New Ruined Homestead Available From Micro Art Studio, and Heroic Maps – Port Fanchone Now Available.
GCT Studios has a bit of an update going on with this preview. First is an announcement that they’re going to be teaming up with 4Ground to make Bushido-specific terrain pieces. Expect more details about that in our Terrain Corners when that’s released. They also have a bit of a guide for ordering figures from their webshop and making sure the pieces get there in time for the holidays. But the real meat of the update is Kuma.
Well, for those of us here in the US, it’s back to the “normal work week” for a few. Thanksgiving was great. I did make soup afterward. I’ve got quite a lot of it. Some will be frozen. Some will be given away. Much will be consumed over the next week. Should stave off any early-winter illnesses I might encounter.
In the meantime, though, normalization of everything begins with our Terrain Corner. We missed Thursday’s because of the holiday, so we’ve got some extra for you today.
Stories include: Pwork Wargames City Ruins gaming mat now available, New 4Ground Dead Man’s Hand Railroad Station and more, Sally 4th Terra Block Barroom set released, Manorhouse Workshop Update #7 – 3D Bases – Modular Terrain: Skirmish & Wargame, Final Days for Trash Bash Bits Part 2, and Two news Russian 15mm houses available From Escenografia Epsilon.
This week, we are certain to see lots of awesome-looking terrain tables during Gen Con. If you want your table to look as good, you’ll probably want to check out what sort of terrain is being offered up by various vendors. Conveniently, we’ve put all of those together in one place for you here online.
In today’s Terrain Corner we have: New 4Ground Parish Church & Accessories, Deep-Cut Studio releases new gaming mat for post-apocalyptic settings, New Terrain preview from ModelEarth, Pwork Releases the Lifeless Land Wargame Mat, and Angry Mojo Games July Releases Part 1: Wild West Terrain.
The week rolls on. We’re once again at Thursday.
Never could get a handle on Thursdays…
But that’s between me and my bathrobe.
At the moment, the focus is on making your gaming tabletop look as good as possible. That’s right, it’s our Terrain Corner segment.
A quickie for you this time around. We’ve got: New 4Ground Pre-painted Church and Warsenal previews new Comanche Bulwark.
Congratulations. You’ve made it to another Friday. Celebrations are to be had. The work week is coming to an end. With any luck, you’ve got some gaming planned for the weekend. I’m going to try and succeed in that TPK of my D&D group. That’ll teach them that “just charge at it” might not be the best in terms of battle strategy.
Anyway, as is our tradition, we’ve got a collection of bite-sized stories we’ve collected over the past couple days. We present them to you now.
In this batch we have: New 4Ground Arab Rural Dwellings at Warlord Games, Native Human Scouts – A Classic Rules Supplement for Flintloque Updated, Asgard Space Pirates Re-Released at Alternative Armies, 12 Realms: Bedtime Story New Ghost Minis, Planetary Militia 3rd Squad released at The Ion Age, Minifigs Resurrects Space Warriors Range After 20 Years, Pedion Modular Battlefields getting better every minute – 3 Stretch Goals unlocked, New Female Cyclops from Brother Vinni, Tabletop Napoleonic Range re-released at 15mm.co.uk, and Manorhouse Workshop Update #33 – Modular Underground Project – Into the box.
Welcome to Sunday. Hopefully you had a good day yesterday. I had my character die in my D&D game, but it was scripted that way, as I am taking back over DM duties for the campaign. It should be a good time.
Anyway, it’s Sunday and we’ve got another batch of bite-sized stories to present to you.
