Tabletop Game Terrain new release

Tabletop Game Terrain have released their City of Ruins terrain sets.

City of Ruins

From their announcement:

Tabletop Game Terrain has released the new TGT: City of Ruins sets. These sets are designed to be as aesthetically pleasing as they are playable. Each building comes with a base that is either 6.25”x6.25”, 11.5”x6” and 12”x12” depending on the size of the kit. All pieces are modular allowing almost limitless combinations with the other pieces in the collection. Our entire collection of buildings amounts to almost 3.5 sq ft of terrain and can be purchased together in the City of Ruins Battle Board set!

This is the premiere line from TGT with an expected release of the TGT: City of Ruins road set and expansion set on April 15th and then the release of another range in March!

All TGT sets are designed and priced with gamers in mind. Simply put, we wanted to begin producing lines that are VERY affordable, playable, and awesome looking on the table. With TGT, gamers won’t have to buy expensive building after expensive building to make a great game board. Make sure to check out the gallery on our website to see the terrain in action.

  • That’s some pretty nice looking stuff, might consider picking up the full set.

Excellent terrain and well priced. I think they should do some two or three story ruins as well.

  • PrimusPilus

What is the terrain made from?

  • Brant

The destroyed buildings look to be a good deal for those who don’t feel like making their own, but a bit too easy to replicate on my own for me. The roads look to be a really good deal though and I find myself tempted.

  • blackfang

I dunno. Doesn’t seem like a great deal to me. The pieces look very basic. I guess the base plate is needlessly driving the cost up – it’s a lot of material for little aesthetic gain. The haughty sales blurb (half the price for twice the models, pro terrain) is hilarious.

For only a few dollars more you can get any of a variety of superb plastic ruin kits from Pegasus. No base plate, but a lot more walls.

  • scarletsquig

Having the option to buy the ruins without the baseplates would be much better. And cheaper.

    • Myrthe

And, conversely, the option of buying the baseplates alone to use with other terrain / wall systems would be nice, too.

      • Uh, you can just buy the baseplates.

        • Myrthe

DOH !! Must have missed that !! Cool !!

Thank you everyone for the comments!

@cannondaddy- We have 3 story ruins coming out this summer.
@primuspilot- They are all made of resin.
@scarletsquig- Thank you for the the input, by popular request we now offer sets of only wall pieces on the website!
