My dad’s side of the family is from South Dakota. Many of them are farmers. It’s not easy work. Me, as a city boy, would go and visit and spend a week or so helping out around the farm. It was fun, but man, it would definitely kick my ass. It’s easy to see how such a living would pair well with a physical game like Guild Ball. As such, the Farmer’s Guild will be making their way to the pitch this August (the 18th, to be specific). You can get your name on the list to get the starter set, as well as the faction dice.
Honest as a day’s work, Grange is no country bumpkin. Filled with unflinching resolve and unbreakable constitution, he’s just a little rough around the edges. When trouble crops up, he’ll plant himself to face it head-on.
Grange is all about grit: cultivating strategies planted at the start of a game, he waits for his plans to mature before reaping the fruits of his labor. Strong communities are built around food we trust to nourish our bodies, and this Guild Ball roster is no different. Emboldened by their sturdy captain, his resilient team works hard to reap what they sow. Patient coaches looking for a Guild that plays more like a family than a team will enjoy the hearty Farmers.
This boxed set contains 6 players (Grange, Peck, Windle, Bushel, Harrow, Jackstraw), Ball (pumpkin), Goal Token (a millstone), 3D Terrain Piece (a pile of baskets and crates), tokens and health dials for all players.
