Spring is here, and that means Spring Break. That usually means family vacations, often to the beach. Well, if you are headed to the beach, between catching some rays and getting some swimming in, maybe play some hands of A Day at the Beach, a new card game from Standard Games.
From the release:
Standard Games announces its newest game “A Day at the Beach”.
A Day at the Beach is a set collection game in the style of rummy.
Action Cards add fun and strategy to the game, as each turn a player chooses between making sets, attacking an opponent, or selecting a card from the ocean. The beach theme keeps the game easy to learn while allowing for complexity.
It is intended for 2-4 players. Players as young as 6 years old enjoy it. It’s quick to play, with most games taking less than 10 minutes.
The game includes 48 Blue Cards which are used make the sets and 32 Action Cards allowing users to snatch cards from each other and draw cards from the ocean.
This game is the result of years of play-testing across many ages.
If you love card games and the beach, this game is for you!
