While many of us are focusing on Christmas coming up in 3 days, this time of year has many holidays associated with it. Certainly, the Festival of Lights known as Hanukkah is one that’s celebrated all over the world. During the 8 nights, one of the most popular things to do is spin the dreidel. Well, those that are sick of the tops spinning themselves off of the table or such have to fear no longer. Spinagogue, the first-ever dreidel spinning stadium, is up on Kickstarter.

The Spinagogue helps keep your dreidels from flying off, and has different sizes of arena that you can let your tops spin in. There’s even handy containers for all of your gelt (chocolate or otherwise). But more than just a space to spin your dreidels, there are several “terrain” boards that you can use to play different games using your dreidels.

The Kickstarter is right around 1/3 funded with still 33 days left to go.

You know, I actually had to pause to make sure that it wasn’t April.

Now that I’ve had a look over the Kickstarter- this looks pretty legit.

I guess it might be like back when I would play Spinjas (character tops who battle in a top colosseum).

But this is being run by a Dreidel Champion winner.

Man- it is awesome how much crazy stuff is out there anymore.

      • Yeah. While I wasn’t thinking this wasn’t legit from the beginning, it certainly started out on my more, “… ok, then” side of things. But no, it’s legit and yeah, organized by a tourney winner. It’s pretty awesome, as agreed upon by my Jewish friends I shared it with.
