Behind football (or, as Americans call it, soccer), Cricket is the most popular professional sport on Earth. Sure, we here in the states might not get too involved in it, but that’s just our corner of the globe. And, like most sports, those of us in the gaming community would like to have a tabletop version so that we can get a game in even if we can’t go out there and bowl like we might like to. Into that gap steps SPIN.a.4, a new tabletop Cricket game that’s up on Kickstarter now.
From the campaign:
Ken presents SPIN.a.4, a multiplayer board game of cricket management and strategy. Developed with over 20 years of research, the game has an inbuilt probability mechanism observed over 40,000 probabilities across thousands of individual matches.
The Kickstarter is doing very well. They’re already well over their funding goal, closing in on 2x funded, with still 22 days left to go.
