Fear the Boot podcast released Sojourn, a collection of stories to help you create settings for your RPG sessions.
From the announcement:
Fear the Boot, the largest independent Role-Playing Game (RPG) podcast, has released Sojourn: An Anthology of Speculative Fiction. This marks the first print and ebook offering from the podcast, featuring contributions from the hosts, community members, and industry professionals (including Matt Forbeck and James Lowder) that have been critical to its success. The book was edited by Laura K. Anderson and Ryan J. McDaniel.
The fifteen stories in this collection portray remarkable worlds for you to visit. These are worlds unlike our own — worlds where a pastor attends the 68th Periodic Interspecies Theologians’ Conference; worlds where a boy goes on a spiritual journey in the mists of prehistory; worlds where humans are enslaved and one freed woman will do whatever it takes to save her species; worlds where humans, zombies, and vampires rub elbows in the office.
“Our organization has always been about community, centered around a hobby that focuses on storytelling,” said Dan Repperger, Moderating Host of Fear the Boot. “So when the anthology first got started, I wanted it to reflect the diverse perspectives and talents already represented. The result has exceeded my highest expectations, both in terms of the stories told and the quality of product itself. I’m very proud to have our name associated with it.”
Sojourn is currently available in print through Amazon and ebook on Amazon, Apple iBooks, Barnes & Noble, Kobo Books and DriveThruFiction.com. It is also available for ordering from your favorite bookstore, through the industry-standard Ingram catalog.
