From the update:

SmogCon 2014, an “American”style hotel based convention has now released one day passes for painters and competitive players to attend.

We are also down to their last few weekend passes, so if you are interested in attending three days of Privateer Press gaming (and more) then check out their website for further details.

With a wide range of Warmachine and Hordes tournament events, culminating in a Sunday Masters event, as well as speed painting, the Golden Thrall master painter award, Monsterpocalypse, High Comand, IKRPG and more, this is the UK’s most
all encompassing PP themed event yet.

This year we are also pleased to welcome Hawk Wargames (makers of Dropzone Commander) and GCT Studios (of Bushido fame) who will be running their own masters events and casual play areas.

They will both be on site for the duration of the extended weekend to answer questions, give sneaky hints of upcoming releases and maybe even be able to throw down for a game or two.

We also have a range of Malifaux events being hosted by veteran TOs and podcast (in)famous Malifools.

With two four star hotels offering six rooms of gaming, painting, RPG and board games, if you play Warmachine, Hordes, Malifaux, DropZone or Bushido, you should think about joining us.

Weekend passes at £60 are available from the website, along with one day passes for the Sunday Bushido and Dropzone masters at £15.

Painters who want to attend the Golden Thrall master painter awards, or for anyone curious as to visit the event can grab a one day Sunday non player badge for £10.

All attendees get a limited edition SmogCon 2014 dice (while stocks last).

We look forward to seeing you there.

  • As the guy in charge of this, please do let me know if you have any questions or need any clarifications on the convention.

We are not Gencon (yet) but we are aiming high.

Plenty of space for one day attendees to take part in the DropZone and Bushido tourneys, and spaces do still remain for our weekend programme of Warmachine and Hordes events.

    Cheers.
    Jon.
