Skirmisher publishing discounts their “Experts 3.5” RPG

Skirmisher publishing slashes the price on their popular “Experts 3.5” RPG! But this price won’t last forever!

Happy Anniversary!

As part of its 10th anniversary celebration, Skirmisher Publishing has discounted PDF downloads of its popular title Experts v.3.5 by a full 96% RPGNow and on DriveThruRPG, from $12.99 to just 50 cents! This is a revised and expanded version of the company’s very first book, Experts, which it released in early 2002.

Correct me if I am wrong, but this looks like the most unnecessary book ever written. D&D 3rd introduces the Expert class to simplify giving character levels to NPCs like all of those Alchemists, Blacksmiths, Courtesans, and Merchant. So, then this company produces a book that throws that simplicity right out the window by expanding the Expert class into multiple character classes, like Alchemist, Blacksmith, Courtesan, and Merchant; and then on top of that adds the “Specialist” as a sort of Expert Plus. That’s like putting out a book for Wizards that breaks them down into Magic Missilers, Shocking Handists, and Affect Normal Firefficianados. This is exactly why PDF + OGL = Poop^2.
