  • Haibane

Eesh – those mouths! Certainly the scariest looking orcs I’ve seen!

  • 4tonmantis

I think I like these.. they remind me a bit of a more savage version of MaxMini’s strange style of fang-faced orcs..

  • Hexenjaeger

I actually have nothing bad or sarcastic to say about these.

    • blkdymnd

You sir, are hereby suspended from the internets!

  • widgren

I need better photos of sprues and minis to for an opinion.

  • Shieldwolf Miniatures

Good morning from the Shieldwolf Team,
and thank you for your comments. We are currently working on fixing the pictures since they are a bit foggy in our opinion. A couple of better pictures are uploaded on our Facebook page, which you are more than welcome to visit. (don’t know if links are allowed on TGN :-?…)
We’ll also be releasing a sprue pic in the following days.

  • Major_Gilbear

    Wow, these look great!

Now, if only somebody would do a sci-fi version of these as hardened mercs or pirates… Please? ;0)

  • scarletsquig

    A non-terrible pic:

Great minis, way better than the GW savage orcs and cheaper too. Look like they might fit nicely with my mantic ones too. Great job. πŸ™‚

  • scarletsquig

Forgot to ask, are there bows on the sprue? Really interested if so.

    • The Mountain Orcs have been designed for close combat, no armor nor shields whatsoever, thus no bows on the sprues either I’m afraid (it doesn’t fit with the background of this faction). Just spears and hand weapons, all made from special steel-like bones.
Other factions from the Orcs will have these options though. πŸ˜‰

As for the price and judging from all the feedback received -since we haven’t stopped receiving other people’s pm’s on our FB page-, 25 euros discounted will probably remain -it all depends on whether we’ll be able to meet timelines in both creating(sculpting/casting/packing) new miniatures and distributing them without delays-. We are very serious about that aspect of our business.
The “Leave-None-Alive” kit however is limited to the first 500 boxes of the pre-orders and (as described) is a non-repeatable offer.

PS. Thank you for your nice comments, you’re right for the clarity of the pictures, bear a bit with us please πŸ™‚

  • Nicolay

    Those Orcs are great!

  • Brodee

Great first plastic set. Something everyone knows, yet unique enough on their own. Great minis.
Shipping is painful to the US, so I will hold off until your next set so I can take advantage of some free shipping.
Can’t wait to throw these guys at my DnD group. My gears are in nonstop turning mode now πŸ™‚

  • 4tonmantis

Yeah, I like the look.. the price is a little on the high side for my personal taste.. if building an orc horde, that will add up very fast. That said… I don’t personally have a use for these despite the fact that I like their snarly faces.

  • Sprue uploaded on our webpage but as promised we’ll make sure in posting better pictures in the following days. We have a tendency of doing injustice to ourselves I guess, but we’ll leave you guys to decide on that πŸ™‚

  • scarletsquig

New pics and sprue pics are great. Can we see the other part of the sprue with the command pieces on it as well? Cheers. Looking likely that I’ll get a couple of boxes once they hit UK distribution, they’re going to be perfect to mix in with my mantic stuff.

  • Gallahad

I don’t know, shipping seemed pretty reasonable to me. I love the look!

Shieldwolf, any plans on getting some US distribution? Call up Neal at “the warstore” or talk to FRP games or miniature market, those three are all usually pretty willing to sell stuff from newer miniature manufacturers.

    • @ Scarletsquig Thank you, pictures were in fact very blur, we admit our mistake and apologize, but are quite sure the regiment will speak for itself once people get them in their hands. Thankfully (despite our first set of pics) we have had a truly great response nonetheless πŸ™‚

@Galland We have made contact since we are very much willing to find distributors in both the USA and Australia. Making our products easily available is better for all I think and gives us more space to breathe and expand our range.
We are awaiting for confirmation (from War & Peace) of our collaboration regarding Australia.
As for the USA, atm we are waiting for confirmation to see if War Path Games will honor us with a collaboration, looking very forward to it.
