The French Revolution was a very turbulent time (to say the least). Various factions were all vying for power with one-another, the citizens were taking to the streets, and heads were rolling (literally). In the French National Assembly building, powerful players were looking to make deals and win votes for their side. And that’s just what you’ll be doing in Revolution! a new card game from Vexillia. It’s available as a print-and-play pdf.
About the game:
Revolution! is a print and play card game set during the French Revolution.
The game takes place in the French National Assembly building. Players represent one of three political factions each composed of a group of famous characters. They must find solutions to the problems of state raised by this turbulent period whilst wrestling one another for political control.
Like all forms of politics power is exercised by a series of votes. Players may use debate, bribery, bullying and scurrilous accusation to win these votes. To win this game you must be prepared to engage in all of these activities at some point.
To support the release there’s a new section on the Vexillia card games page with some card previews and a link to a free copy of the published rules.
