Well.. that did it.. first company to produce the APC and power-loader gets whatever is left of my money after this game takes it out on me.

…APC and Power-Loader that are actually authentic to the movie designs.. I know about the one Scotia Grendel makes..

My wallet is on the table. if its an expandable minis boardgame like sedition wars/Spacehulk, my wallet will be bouncing off my computer monitor for the next couple of weeks !! If it is just yet another entry into the over saturated Tabletop mini skirmish market then it goes back into my pocket. Either way good luck with it!!

Based on their pricing for Warzone, Im going to pass.

What’s wrong with their prices? £13 for five fairly beefy minis seems on par with other mini lines on the market. Mind I haven’t seen the minis in person but they look fairly good on the pictures.

I need more information in order to pass any sort of judgment or throw some money across cyberspace.

Definitely need more information, but I’m likely screwed into buying the models at the very least. Because, well, ALIENS dammit.

I would handle this the way DUST was handled. A basic box set with a main game, self contained play surface(Poster map, tiles etc.),figs, and missions, with fairly simple rule set that will appeal to miniature and board game players. Follow this up with regular box sets of troop/vehicles, terrain/map sets, and campaign packs for the following year.
This would give WZR some time to get released into retail and allow for some time to complete the factions. The following year release a stand alone Tabletop skirmish rule set foe AVP that can use all of the previous years miniature releases.

      I like this approach.

I also hope that they’re wise enough to do models for all the cool/obscure stuff from the various incarnations of all franchises involved in all of their forms (ie comics, movies, etc etc). There’s so much out there and this could evolve into something huge.
