I was born at a very young age. I plan on living forever. So far, so good.

Holy cow, do all world leaders know of this development!!!

  • I have never been impressed by the PiP presentation at Templecon. Most images have usually already been spoiled, the sound is rarely good, and the space is usually terrible for allowing people to a) see and b) hear, and c) ask questions. They would be far better served setting up a sofa and a big screen and running a loop so that people could watch it all weekend without the splash. The staff also rarely looks like they want to field the questions from customers. Just my $0.02 based on three years of observations. I also wonder if this will finally be the year that the PiP events are run on schedule?

Except that this year PP hired a full-time staffer that deal with making professional videos and presentations, like the Colossal and Gargantuan ones so I think it will be fine.

As for the staff not wanting to field questions, that’s a load of bull. All the PP staff I know love to talk shop and don’t mind it at all, especially when they are at a convention for that express purpose of promoting their game.

Remember, PP isn’t GW. PP actually takes part in the miniatures hobby and doesn’t set themselves apart from it.

Templecon isn’t run by PP btw. It’s a fan-based convention that’s supported by PP.

Go to Lock n’ Load, and you’ll find that a convention run by, and funded by PP is a much higher quality than a fan-run convention. The sound quality is good, the images are new and unspoiled, and the staff is engaging, and willing to answer questions.

The staff I have met is always happy to field questions and talk shop. Always. But, that was at Lock n’ Load, not Templecon.

  • Ok, so what did I miss?

    • …and I’m saving this comment for tomorrow when I really do miss it.
