Here we are, once more, at Tuesday. It seems that Monday was a really bad one for many of my friends. So here’s to making Tuesday not so bad. Also, here’s to hoping the week goes by quickly and smoothly for everyone so we can get back to the joy that is the weekend. To help things go by, listening to some gaming podcasts is a good idea.
This week we have: The Cardboard Herald Episode 20: Andrew Birkett of Atheris Games, Singled Out Episode 28: Talking Season 3 Engineers with Pash, Epic Gaming Night Podcast Episode 98: Replayabilty, Meeples & Miniatures Episode 201: Geek Nation Tours revisited, Primecast Episode 42, and Game Classy Episode 135: Adepticon 2017.
Jack talks with the entrepreneurial mastermind, Andrew Birkett; owner of Atheris Games and designer of their successfully kickstarted (and delivered) Cul-de-sac Conquest. Atheris just launched it’s 2nd kickstarter for Mutant Crops. Andrew definitely has plans and Jack is excited to see how the Atheris Games story unfolds.
Andrew and Pash discuss Season 3 Engineers, and how they can be played.
Roy, Matt, & Rob talk about replayabilty in board games! they also take a look at Cthulhu Wars, Time stories Expedition Endurance, & Arkham horror LCG!
In this show, the Meeples & Miniatures team catch up with what they have been doing in the hobby over the past week.
For our main feature, we are joined by Teras Cassidy from Geek Nation Tours. We catch up with what the company has been doing since we last spoke, and also chat about the Freebooters Podcast network.
We hope you enjoy the show
Will (Shick) and Will (Hungerford) dive in with information on the new releases for March. Writing Manager Matt Goetz and Senior Writer Douglas Seacat talk with Shick about what the Strangelight Workshop is and how it operates, and the Struggle of Wills (Hungerford, Oz, and Pagani) returns with more information on the units of the Grymkin and thoughts on their development. Then Convention Manager JR Godwin drops in to follow up on SmogCon and what shows are coming up next. Finally, we head out with a quick tease of what’s coming in Episode 43.
