Play Unplugged has another great review for us. This time it’s of Reaper’s new Bones line.

From the review:

Don’t fear the reaper (especially when he brings low-priced miniatures)! Play Unplugged reviews Bones, Reaper Miniatures new plastic miniature range.

I was born at a very young age. I plan on living forever. So far, so good.

Fine review except that they primed them before painting, which doesn’t tell me a thing about Reaper’s claim that these are paint ready straight out of the blister with no priming necessary. This would be one of those times not to prefer a black undercoating, let a twelve-year-old slap on some paint, and do a little bit of tabletop wear and tear testing.

    • I do concede your point on the painting, Soulfinger, but I just didn’t feel like I could do a decent paint job without following my usual methods. I will say that the paint-on Gesso I used stuck beautifully to the mini once dry, and as I handled it while painting, it did not once rub or scrape off.
